Incandescent bulbs are not better for your eyes. In fact, they can be quite harmful. The light from an incandescent bulb is very bright and can cause eye strain and headaches. Additionally, the light from an incandescent bulb is not as natural as the light from the sun, which can be easier on your eyes.
Incandescent bulbs are better than LED in a number of ways. First, they produce more light per watt than LED bulbs, making them more efficient. Second, they last longer, with an average lifespan of 1,500 hours compared to LED's average lifespan of 25,000 hours. Finally, they are more affordable, with a purchase price of around $0.50 per bulb compared to LED's price of $5.00 per bulb.
Incandescent bulbs are not illegal. However, they are being phased out in favor of more energy-efficient options, such as LED bulbs.
Incandescent bulbs are not worth keeping because they are not as efficient as other types of bulbs. They use more energy and produce more heat than other types of bulbs.

There are numerous sizes and forms for Edison bulbs. I preferred a more traditional or stereotypical bulb with a gentle glow that didn't cost more than $10 to $15 each. I recently purchased a metal shaded lamp in an industrial design. The bulbs cost $10 each at market pricing, which is not horrendously expensive and not the most I've ever spent, but they were out of stock. I came here and checked for them because I am an avid Amazon user. About 18 was spent on four bulbs at the time of purchase. The advantages are that it looks fantastic, the light has a gentle glow, and the aesthetics of the bulbs resemble Restoration Hardware's store. Most lamps will fit 60 watts. The bulbs are conveniently packaged for storage. The drawbacks: Despite the gentle lighting, I'd suggest using a 40watt bulb to actually see more of the bulb's detail. Although a 60watt bulb produces a lot of light, the interior is blurred, making it difficult to enjoy the bulb as much "aesthetically" as I would want. When I run out of 60's, I will place a new order for a 40watt.

10/23/18— Therefore, when I first opened the box, I thought, "OMG, these bulbs are terribly little!" No, they're just the right size! I have a salt lamp that weighs 10 pounds, and the original bulb barely lasted two years. My lamp is always on. I hardly ever turn it off. But actually, the air only benefits when the bulb is warm, right? I mentioned the 10lb salt lamp earlier, so I was concerned about the heat this bulb produces. In addition, reviews I read claimed that the lamp wasn't warmed. My ten-pound lamp took around 24 hours, maybe a little longer, to warm up. Although it isn't particularly warm, it is warm to the touch, so I'm happy. I'll provide an update when the bulb burns out about durability! Additionally, I'm extremely content with the 25 watts. This bulb is so much brighter than my previous one—I believe it had a lower watt—and I love it!

These lights are excellent. It wasn't necessarily the bulbs' fault, according to several reports, as they started blowing the moment you screwed them in. My cord was faulty in the instance where bulbs were blowing. Therefore, before blaming the bulb, verify that first. None were damaged, and since I received them, I've had one in my salt lamp always (I never turn it off), and it's perfect—15w it's warm and bright. I held off on writing a review because I had heard that they weren't very durable, but so far, so good. If it quickly bursts out, I'll update. I appreciated the advice to use a tissue instead of your fingers and to avoid touching the lamp's sides because those things can result in a blowout.UPDATE: My salt lamp's first bulb finally died 10 months after I installed it. That is a very lengthy lifespan! They deserve a higher rating than 5!

I purchased these bulbs to swap out the ones that have been in our outdoor light poles that line our driveway. They offer more of a mood light than a source of light for vision, giving out a type of yellowish glow that resembles candle flames. We've tried using the brilliant white LED lights, but their main purpose is to cast useful light, not mood. My wife claims that our driveway appears to be a security area because of the strong LED lights. These GE lights resemble gas lamps from a century ago more.As a result, I purchased a sizable number of these as the market for incandescent bulbs is being steadily replaced by that of modern LED and halogen lights. The Ge bulbs are ideal for the job and provide us with the desired appearance. We can often use them for 12 months before having to replace them. We now have enough to last us for the next five years, but perhaps the LED market will develop in the future and be able to replicate this look.

Despite some of the unfavorable reviews, I chose to give these a try. These bulbs melted the wax exactly like a Scentsy bulb and fit precisely in my full-sized Scentsy warmers. I leave my heaters on all the time and it never burns or gets too hot. Additionally, bubble wrap was used to box the bulbs. I tested each bulb, and they were all functional. Nothing is defective or broken. Much better than the bulbs purchased at Walmart, this product is awesome. Excellent purchase, and I'll buy these again without a doubt!

The other five are excellent, however one of the six blew when I placed it. They are built of thick glass instead of thin glass like standard bulbs. They are the same size as what the advertisement said, however they are taller than I anticipated. They are also not as bright as the majority of 60 watt bulbs. But I adore the style. I put four of them outside our front door (one spare left). The curled bulbs had the worst appearance. I am aware that they are less expensive, but I just couldn't stand to look at them any longer. I had to purchase these bulbs, and I adore how they appear. I'd much rather see these than curly lights, even if it means sacrificing a little electricity. Although I was considering acquiring the LED version, I now prefer the vintage incandescent light bulbs with several filaments. If these blow, I'll place another purchase. They are much more appealing to the eye than curly bulbs.

Online bulb shopping is challenging. I purchased these after purchasing a pricey box of subpar bulbs. The Philips lightbulb package is excellent. Packaging keeps them safe. None of the ones I got were damaged. The quality of the bulbs is clearly different; they feel, appear, and work PERFECTLY.When you take the bulbs out of the package, they simply appear far superior to anything you would get at a large box retailer. You won't regret buying these.

I had seen that a few of the other reviews had expressed dissatisfaction over one or more of their bulbs being damaged when they arrived. The "light bulb monster" attempted to destroy my shipment as well, but failed! HA!!! When I cracked open the Amazon box, I was prepared to become angry. The GE light bulb box and a few other minor goods were inside an Amazon box that appeared to be in good condition. When I cracked open the Amazon package, the one inside appeared to have been handled previously by "Ace Ventura" (1994 film). Even though I was ready to just return and replace the entire set, my boyfriend insisted on opening the package, "just to verify." There is no possibility that there isn't a broken bulb inside, I reasoned. (See Image) As it turns out, not one. Six bulbs were/are in superb condition. Amazon, thanks for giving me a panic, but you'll never break my lucky bulbs! HA HA!!! LOL. Nidus Productions' Erin

3-Way
$234
I recently purchased the 4 pack of these bulbs and installed one in my floor lamp with a dimmer slide. It functions flawlessly from low-level mood lighting all the way up to light bright enough to shed brightness onto my two-story living room ceilings. It illuminates the entire living room, the surrounding open space, and the upstairs balcony style open hallways, so it gets very bright at the 150 watt full blast level. As it appears like a really fair price for four 3-way bulbs, I would absolutely make another buy! These are conventional light bulbs, not halogen or fluorescent ones with a lengthy lifespan.

Flicker light bulbs aren't particularly bright, which is a sad fact. They resemble a flame but are also more orange or crimson. I wanted to create the illusion of a candlelit meal with my electric candlesticks. I decided to test flicker bulbs because the ordinary bulbs that don't flicker just felt dim. I stopped using the flicker bulb after experimenting with numerous brands. It's more of a novelty item for Halloween. There is no way it would illuminate an area sufficiently to eat and view your meal unless you use 10 or more at once. I've returned to the steady lighting. Although they are dull, at least I can see my green beans!I awarded it four stars because I believe this version of the product is nice, but the actual product—flickering bulbs in general—deserves much less.
Incandescent lights can catch fire if they are left on for too long. The heat from the light bulb can cause the plastic or paper around the bulb to catch fire.
Yes, you can put an incandescent bulb in an LED fixture. However, the LED fixture will not be as efficient as it would be if you used an LED bulb.
Yes, you can replace all incandescent bulbs with LED. LED bulbs are more energy-efficient and last longer than incandescent bulbs.
If your light bulb is incandescent, you will be able to see a small wire filament inside the bulb. When the filament is heated by an electric current, it will glow and produce light.
