This is our second hockey tower bag made by GRIT. For older children and teens, I would suggest the 36". We used to have the shorter one, but now that he has bigger chest pads, shin guards, and breezers, it doesn't fit all of his pads well.The fact that there is a spot for everything in the bag is what I adore most about its design. Since everything in my son's room is neatly arranged, I don't have to sift through a maze of tools to find what I need to help him get dressed.I also like the interior mesh bag that is detachable. I keep socks and jerseys in there so I don't have to search through the bag to identify what has to be cleaned for the upcoming practice or game. I can just take that in for washing.You can see the before and after in my images. Since our other bag is in storage, we were waiting for this one to arrive at the time. (We recently relocated.)I adore that the bags breathe, and they are well-made. mesh compartments and sturdy zippers.The only drawback is that this bag is bulky, but that is true of all hockey bags. To enable my 6-year-old son to carry his own bag to hockey practice, I bought him this. We really like the bag overall, and for the price I would buy it again. This bag seems to be made of quite strong materials, so I anticipate it will last. There is more than enough room for a young hockey player. Depending on the size of the skates, this bag may only hold one skate per side pocket, leaving only one smaller storage space on the front for additional goods. One side compartment holds both of my sons' youth-sized skates.See the Cons section below to learn why I deducted one star.Pros 4 Stars: - Heavy-duty zippers that seem durable; - Apparent decent craftsmanship all around.With lots of room for kid pads, skates, and equipment, it is the ideal size for young hockey players. I don't know why, but the zippers are pink rather than black (and I noticed another reviewer mention it about this specific purple design). However, I would have chosen black zippers. I don't mind the difference. Since you can't rely on the product's listing photographs, I have no idea which bag patterns still have black zippers and which have a different hue.I adore the quality of the bag, other from the zipper colors not matching the image they have given for it. I'll be purchasing more of these bags in the future in various patterns because they are really wonderful. I have one of the widest sizes for a woman's foot because I wear women's 9.5 street shoes, and my skates fit me just fine. If you have particularly long skates, you can store them vertically as indicated by the yellow tags. My skates didn't need to be entirely vertical; I only needed to angle them slightly to make them fit in the bag. Far, much larger skates will fit if you actually turn them completely vertical. When it's vertical, there is plenty of area for the blade and boot.My long skate guards, waxel pads, towel, drink bottle, and other items fit comfortably in the main pocket with room to spare. If you wanted to squeeze a helmet inside, it would definitely fit, and there would still be some room for a few other little items.The bag is quite comfortable to carry on my shoulders, and there is still plenty of strap to expand it more. Unless someone is trying to carry a huge boulder in their backpack, I fail to see how this bag might damage anyone's shoulders.

This bag is quite sturdy and of high quality, and the drawstring closing works well. This is an excellent helmet bag, and you can throw it in your bag with 100% confidence that your helmet and shield are covered, even though you might have expected considerably less in terms of thickness and fabric for the price. The only thing I might change is the size; although my helmet with visor fits, it's difficult to get it in.

I got this as a gift for my spouse. Because he is so worn out after his games, he needed a bag with wheels. Something that wouldn't smell as bad was what I desired. This purse was the ideal remedy.
