Wow, this thing is incredible. It's incredible that it only cost about $34.My 8-year-old slugger, who never like practicing his swings indoors, now swings 100 times per day, and even more on weekends, and he adores it.His progress has been fairly dramatic and is readily apparent. He is building muscle memory through swing repetitions, which will enable him to focus on game situations rather than swing technique during competition.The maker advises against using "performance" bats when using the swing trainer, however my buddy has been using his "large" bat the entire time, and neither the bat nor the training stick show any indications of wear. The ball is still as good and firm as the day we bought it, which amazes me considering how hard he's hitting it. It's possible that older players (middle school, high school, etc.) shouldn't utilize performance bats with the trainer, but we haven't had any problems doing so. Perhaps the warning is intended to protect the bat, but our bat is "top shelf" and is in good shape. I suppose there might be bat damage with a cheaper quality bat depending on how sturdy the practice stick or ball is.

For my fair evaluation, I was given a complimentary PowerNet Crushers Limited Flight Training ball.UPDATE: My initial review was only posted three days ago. I went to my nephew's All Star practice with the PowerNet Crusher. The kids enjoyed it when I added it to the heavy ball toss. They began referring to it as the bonus ball. My nephew asked for a dozen, so I just purchased them.The maximum flight of the ball is between 50' and 60'. With a standard baseball, my nephew's maximum hitting distance would be about 100'.The ball feels decent in the hand, not fragile but with good give. Given that we don't have a large play area and the ball struck our windows at least ten times, the give is crucial. My nephew hit over 200 balls over the past couple of weeks (we did a lot of chasing). The fact that the ball is unharmed pleased me. These are the whiffle balls that my nephew prefers to hit over the black and yellow ones. I bought this training tool after saw several MLB players utilizing it and thought, well, why not? I consider myself to be a competent baseball player that competes in a men's summer league, and I believe that the Prohitter has much helped me. It ensures that you apply consistent pressure to the handle, which in turn aids in improved swing maintenance. This rubber training aid also has the additional function of absorbing barrel stress, which I found to be particularly useful. There is no excuse not to at least test the Prohitter out at the price!

This was purchased for my daughter, a powerful 10U Fastpitch softball player. It might only last a few seasons, but that's okay! She has been practicing all Christmas afternoon since she likes it so much and needs new batting gloves! She overcame the very slight learning curve when she used it for the first time. For it to fully rotate, she had to unhook a couple bungees. It is simple to put together, take apart, and transport to practice. The simplicity of assembly, however, causes it to shake slightly. As a result of the noise each impact generates, our neighbors are not happy. Additionally, the hinge bar will fall within the tube if both of the top tension nuts are loosened, making its recovery challenging but not impossible. The plastic cap on the tube's end, close to where the bungees join, is poorly fitted and is prone to falling out. I'll need to find a better way to safeguard it. Additionally, there is a loose fit where the rod containing the ball attaches to the tube. I'm not quite certain if I can make it tighter.Overall, I'm happy because my daughter adores it!

Baseball hitting assistance that is sweet and basic!!!Before attaching the final cable, remember right side up and prevent cables from twisting. Once everything is put up, you may change the height, although doing so requires considerable strength because the wire is so robust and heavy-duty.All is well thus far. Start by following the instructions; a strong strike will cause the cable to twist around the pole and return. A weaker impact may cause the ball to not return. Excellent batting aid that promotes rhythm and solid hits. We've used both aluminum and wood, but I don't advise using a wood bat since it will dent. The aluminum bat has endured numerous rounds without denting. I advise using an older bat at first to practice timing, etc., if you have one.Swing Trainer is an excellent tool when used properly!!!

After using the Louisville Slugger Swing Rep hitting station, I decided to get this. It came down to either that or this SKLZ Hit-A Way for us. I ought to have purchased this one first. For three days, we employed the Louisville Slugger Swing Rep hitting station, but we had problems with the ball's "rebound" after hitting. The first night, it functioned perfectly, but it felt like the elastic was frayed because the ball wouldn't reset properly. Ultimately made the decision to send it back and exchange it with the SKLZ Hit-A Way. This is far more effective. makes the batter focus on striking a moving ball. Unless you modify them, pitch height adjustments are fixed and do not fluctuate. Also much more durable. Due to the extra strong component, it is naturally hefty, but that was to be expected. However, it's still simple to maneuver around. The setup is also very easy right out of the box. Not 45 minutes to build, that's a huge plus! Give it a try; you won't be sorry!FOLLOW-UP:prompt follow-up. contacted SKLZ customer support with a ball-related query. We had this device for just over two weeks, we said. The baseball started to deviate from its original shape, but as I previously indicated, the entire minor league team was essentially hitting it. They sent 2 replacements in addition to covering it as a warranty claim even though it had only been in use for 2 weeks! I was only attempting to get a new ball and cable! How could anyone not adore that? Absolutely two thumbs up!

Amazing product. To really drive the ball, my 12u player struggled to keep his bat in the hitting zone. The fast response this product offers greatly pleased me when I found it. In a short period of time, my son's swing path much improved, and he is now routinely able to send balls up the middle with the device. He can now "feel" if he hits the ball well and understands why. We use it before taking our blood pressure, and it aids in triggering our muscles' memory of how to do a good swing. Although it's not inexpensive, it's perhaps the best striking aid we've ever bought. Definitely worth the $50.

Funnily enough... My son is a young 11u athlete. He casts, but very seldom and with extremely excellent swings that are a bit outside of his body. Purchased this to address that minor issue, and I can see it improving over time, but the amusing aspect is that when he swings and casts quickly, the Velcro breaks, and the strap smashes him in the face! The first time I saw that, I jumped off the bucket in laughter because that is instant feedback if I've ever seen it!He still isn't a fan, but I did see a tiny improvement when I made fun of him and made him do slow, dry swings for a little over ten minutes before we began tee practice without the aid. Before I give him the next beating, we will continue the dry swing in slower motion.Second-day update: My son was eager to put in the effort and give it another go after reading some of these reviews and viewing some in-depth success stories, so before his team practice today I had him complete 50 slow dry swings. He then completed roughly 15 quick dry swings, and guess what?Without causing the response, he swung. He was ecstatic.We went to practice, and the hitting coach asked me if I had him take private lessons with a hitting coach because of how good he hit. Every time he took a swing, his teammates would remark on how far and how hard he was hitting the ball. I'm going to give it a fifth star since he has never produced a presentation of that nature, and I heartily recommend it to anyone weighing 60 pounds or more.3 month updateWell, my son is the team's leader in BA, SLG, OBP, and contact percentage. He is the second-smallest player there and plays 11u travel ball for a decent squad. He is outhitting the bigger, older youngsters while playing up at 12u for several competitions. And this product deserves the most of the credit. His swing has been improved and made more consistent overall by fine-tuning it. He utilizes this gadget every day in the cage by himself, and he no longer triggers the device very often. To test himself, he will perform the Tee, soft toss, and front toss while wearing it.I can understand why a child who struggles with mechanics could give it a try and then give up, but try to persuade them to persevere because giving them enough time to develop that muscle memory will help.

I'm quite pleased with the outcome. a ton of valuable data, instructive films on how to analyze it, and practice exercises. You can analyze your swing and relate its strengths and weaknesses to its results by recording it on video.The customer support has also astound me. The sensor was not charging for me (turned out to be a defective 3rd party cable). I asked for assistance on a Sunday, assuming I would hear back by email the following day. Instead, I received a call a few minutes later from a very kind Blast representative who explained what to do and provided me his cell phone in case I encountered any more problems. That person, who? Undoubtedly, I was impressed.There are a few little things that might be made better. For instance, I wish the 3d swing tracer worked on Android devices as well as iOS (unfortunately, it now only works with iOS), and some of the navigating between stats and swings could be made simpler. However, in comparison to the app's ability to teach, they are minor issues.

I adore this item. It makes practicing fast hits simple and accessible from anywhere. It requires some getting accustomed to. It must be tightly pulled by the person operating it, with the ball at the very end and no twisted ropes. It helps if you stand in the batter's striking zone at his or her height. It should move very smoothly, and it works best if the end is attached to a rigid object with no give (better to contact to a tree than a fence). In order to avoid getting caught in the ropes, the batter will generally need to strike the top of the ball. The ball should come back most of the way if the operator quickly brings their hands together after the batter hits, which makes for simple and quick practice. Even if this item breaks, I intend to replace it with a new one because it has been a fantastic product. People who have never seen one frequently inquire about it and observe it at the baseball fields.
