You should be aware of the following about me before reading this review:1. I was already lazy, but this is ridiculous2. It turns out that I actually DO appreciate getting wrapped up like a banana.3. I am a 175-pound woman in my 40s.4. I haven't owned it very long, so I can't speak to its longevity.5. I purchased the cotton item with a Salsa design and a charcoal frame. I INTENTIONALLY spend days, sometimes even weeks, researching any purchase above $100 before making it. Because I want to address as many problems as I can, this is absurdly lengthy.Assembly: I did have some difficulty putting it together, however the lack of WD40 greatly hindered my efforts. It's not difficult to put together; it's simply uncomfortable when done by one person because the holes that should line up are on the bottom. You have to twist them in, and it's challenging for one person to hold both pieces while also being able to see the holes at once (my fit a touch snug, but no bashing or changes were required).I switched the feet after assembly because they weren't flat on the ground. The feet are not interchangeable, despite the fact that they appear to be similar (bless his heart! ), according to one reviewer (or were backwards, not sure). But after being switched, one side wouldn't go in far enough for the screw, so I flipped it over, and it went in much more easily. Some reviewers assert that their instructions made this distinction; mine, however, did not. I WILL use WD40 to make the job simpler the next time when I do take it apart (probably not until the end of summer).My balcony measures 10 by 6 feet, including the 44-inch railing. I double-checked my measurements in the vain hope that this would fit. With many inches to spare, it does. When the sling is attached, I do have to walk over it to enter and exit the door, but I have plenty of room to swing (I have it set up on the diagonal to also accomodate a tiny patio table and one chair) and I'm loving every second of it. When the sling is removed, it really only occupies a small amount of space, consisting of two stands with a short bar in between (about 4 ft). I could easily pull out the other chair and enjoy the balcony as if the hammock weren't even there if the sling wasn't attached.I am not a small person, therefore I can completely enclose myself in the fabric for a nap. I feel like I'm hiding in a fort, only outside and in the open (I like to conceal my face and all). like a bad guy I occasionally have to resist the impulse to scream, "You can't see me!" whenever a bystander crosses the sidewalk in front of my flat. I spoke too much.I get the finest swing movement when I'm lying perpendicular, therefore that's my preferred position. I'm not sure if I could extend my legs all the way without my head dropping off, but I prefer to keep the motion continuing by keeping at least one foot on the ground (or at the very least sticking out to touch the railing).Comfort: Because I prefer to sleep on my side, I was a little concerned about the situation. In no way! (Villains don't lie on their backs, so you need to be prepared to act at a moment's notice. And what sort of freak would I be laying on my back, screaming at whole strangers?) Although a little pillow would be more comfy, my outside pillow is too large and makes me feel more at ease without it. No matter WHAT bizarre position I manage to take, I couldn't sleep on my back if I tried it on a bed, but it's all I can do to remain awake in this monster. I do have back issues, and it's fantastic not to have any pressure areas, as others have said! Given the nature of a hammock, I really didn't understand how it was possible (you'd think the weight would be evenly distributed throughout), but it truly doesn't work that way, at least not in the way that it feels.It is real.

This is by far my favorite hammock to use instead of a bed out of the roughly a dozen that my family owns. My husband suffered from three herniated discs after being involved in a vehicle accident a few years ago, so I started researching into alternate sleep solutions while he underwent rehabilitation. This hammock was wonderful when we used it outside. Then, in April 2016, we installed a number of boat hooks in various studs in a downstairs bedroom so we could regularly hang hammocks to sleep in. People in my family can pick to sleep in their beds, on the floor, or in a hammock in the hammy room on any given night. In the summer, the hammock prevails around 75% of the time, and maybe 25% from December to February. It's helped my husband's back pain and his ability to sleep once again, which has a positive impact on every other element of his life! Six of the nine members of my family choose this hammock as a bed, two like a Mayan, and one young child prefers her 4-foot-tall rainbow Brazilian because she has outgrown sharing this one with me. The most people we've ever packed into this hammock—perhaps 500 pounds total—were 2 adults and 3 children. However, that was just daytime play. Individual sleeping is typically the most pleasant for us.Although I enjoy using my camping parachute hammocks and find them to be comfortable, they can be noisy and bothersome when used indoors with a lot of children at night. Brazilians are peaceful and relaxed.Not every Brazilian hammock is built equally! My favorite hammock is this one. It is forgiving on the hanging distance and height in that a wide range of set ups still results in a pleasant lay, well-balanced for a decent diagonal lay, and simple to get into and out of. I had intended to test several less expensive Brazilian hammocks to save money, but I soon came to regret it. Some have short, tight rails and are extremely deep. The arm cords on several are out of proportion, making one side rail significantly lower than the other. In the end, I generously bought more of these. Simply purchasing these is more cost-effective in the long run because they are durable. I'm unsure about the duration because my original is still strong. The hammock arm loops and the rest of it are still in excellent condition, however I had to replace the 1-inch webbing that was in between the boat hook and the carabiner.Despite having typical American beds, we rarely use or even need them. Hammocks are considerably simpler to set up and take down than beds, cleaner and cozier than mattresses, a calm area to relax or sleep, and just plain cool and enjoyable. They have endured heavy use and abuse while being routinely machine washed. Even a huge, dirty dog that my kids let into my naturally colored one washed up like new.I purchased this fantastic item for the full price and have it in every color. They were a great investment. Thrilled beyond belief!

I am a cautious shopper and I base my decisions on reviews before making any purchases, and I have discovered that all the prior favorable evaluations for this G4Free Double Camping Hammock are accurate. Here is what I experienced. First of all, I've never bought a hammock before, so I don't have a lot of experience with other brands or designs, but ever since I got it, I've been impressed. I was initially taken aback when this box containing the hammock was presented to me. A hammock that can support more than 600 lbs could not possibly fit into a container that was so small that it could practically fit inside a cereal box, I reasoned to myself. This is perfect for any hiker, camper, or explorer who wants to carry all of their goods while fitting it into small spaces. Setting it up in my backyard immediately after receiving it was simple. I was able to find two trees that were about 12 feet away from one another, and it was neatly hung in 3 minutes. Due to how light and thin this material is, I was a little concerned when I first tried diving into it that it could tear. However, I quickly realized that it is surprisingly robust material. It takes some practice to figure out how to get in, how to position oneself, and how to move around in it, but once you do, it's incredibly comforting and calming. I then asked my brother over so we could test it out together. With him being 6'2" and myself being 6', we were both able to fit inside together and in a comfortable position. Will be ideal for a single person to spend the entire night in a sleeping bag. I suggest this hammock to everyone looking for high-quality equipment without spending a fortune. Although it's not a $160 hammock, this one will serve its purpose perfectly.

I chose Wise Owl because the products were significantly less expensive than the well-known brands and the quality seemed to be good. I reasoned that I wouldn't be out as much money on the hammocks if my son's interest in hammock camping turned out to be merely a passing craze. It was time to upgrade since he hadn't outgrown it after two years. went shopping once more and examined all the expensive and well-known brands. I looked at the merchandise at local outfitters and REI. hundreds of hammock kit reviews on Amazon. I returned to Wise Owl as a result of my investigation, and I wasn't disappointed. I buy flies and mosquito nets.The flies are really well constructed. Every edge has stress points and is double stitched. The line is not simply tied to the corner. Adjustment is made simple with adjustable cord tensioners. The tarp is sufficiently long and wide to offer decent protection from the sun and rain. It is usable both with and without poles. It can be adapted to your location's requirements with the aid of hiking sticks. The stakes' length is the only thing I have to criticize. They simply aren't long enough for the sand soil in which I spend the majority of my time. Thankfully, I always have a supply of longer stakes.The SnugNet is a top-notch item. In order to place it over the hammock without completely removing it, it can be stored into the bag that is linked to it. Excellent for preventing it from snagging or dragging on the ground. The zippers do not catch on the cloth and are easy to pull. When you need to leave in the middle of the night and the tent zipper jams, that is awful enough. In a hammock, things can get perilous. With this bug net, thankfully, there is no concern. The net barely brushed the ground when I hung the hammock at my usual height. The issue should be resolved if I hang the hammock a little higher the next time. I would just like to see a fabric loop added to the interior top of this net so that a small lantern can be attached.

At his checkups, my son who receives occupational therapy uses a swing. This one was a home buy. We believed the wrapping effect and demand for gross motor skills with this swing would be ideal for him because of his high level of activity and sensory difficulties. HIS FAVORITE! We occasionally struggle to wake him up so he can go to sleep. It is so flexible that even one layer allows him to sit with his feet on the ground. We can swing him if we double the fabric and pull him up high enough. He needed two or three tries to find out how to enter it on his own. On any one of his moods, we have alternatives for how to fold the fabric. When he expresses a desire not to be wrapped in it, we let his legs to hang out to the side like a horse. He occasionally prefers to be entirely engulfed in it. We had some trouble installing it because we couldn't locate the ceiling joists to hook it to. He entered it once it was fastened to the ceiling because we have 8-foot ceilings. We did need to slightly modify the rope to lift it off the ground, but he quickly worked it out. The swing is too huge for my husband and me, but we have yearned for a swing that we can utilize. If your child is as active as mine is, this one is fantastic for gross motor and muscle sensations. It's also helpful for soothing when people are getting ready for bed.

I'm thrilled to have this hammock. I put it in my backyard, between 2 trees, and have enjoyed some really relaxing days while it sways in the breeze. The colors are vibrant and lively, and it is small in the bag but appears to be robust. This hammock is not actually intended for two people, at least not two adults, in my opinion. I am a medium-sized woman who is 5'7" tall, and it was ideal for only me. A few strong carabiners to secure the hammock to the ropes would also have been nice to have. Since it's starting to rain, I'd like to be able to quickly bring it inside rather than always leave it outside. I'll probably take it down soon for the autumn and winter and then better configure it for when I want to use it again.

Since I received it, I have been pleasantly enjoying it every day! It's affordable, comfortable, and exactly what I was searching for. With this buy, I am quite happy.One thing I thought was a little strange was that the brilliant red thread used to put the hammock's ends together seemed out of place since I had selected the green/blue version.I was a little concerned that it might stretch out significantly, but so far it doesn't seem to have done so at all, and the fabric is really comfy.Since it is advised not to connect a metal end to the metal that is in the hammock loops in order to prevent those from bending, I simply removed the included carabiners and used a modified half hitch knot with the included straps. It holds perfectly without harming the metal inside the hammock loops.

For almost a year, I've spent every night on this hammock. My chronic lower back pain from an injury was gone after the first two to three weeks and hasn't come back. Regarding the actual device, the stand hasn't exhibited any signs of strain or bowing. The knobs rarely need to be checked or tightened, even when I remember to.The hammock stretches over time, but I can maintain the tension I like by lowering one hook; the next time I need to do it, I'll lower the other hook. I've lowered a hook four times in the last ten months. The only issue I first ran into was as I was swinging, the ropes scraped against the back of the wingnuts holding the hooks in place. They were at the very top, but as I dropped that hook, I was free of that issue. I haven't attempted to wash it, so I can't offer any assistance there. I always use a sleeping bag and wash that instead. For those of you who are new to hammocks, having it low to the ground will make it easier for you to get out of it and swing by dangling one leg over the side. Just choose a height that is most comfortable for you. Additionally, laying in it somewhat diagonally will prevent it from cocooning. I sincerely hope you appreciate it as much as I have. P.S. My family, which includes the dog, also adores it!

We've only had it for a few weeks, so we're not sure how it will hold up, but so far, so good, so we're giving it four stars! I got it for my parents because they both retired but they never leave the house and aren't eager to go out. I helped hang the hammock between two palm trees in their yard so they could enjoy the sun if they wanted to. They really adore this hammock, that much is true.
