previously bought the identical item in beige. It has some mould and discoloration after being left outside for almost the whole year for 4 years. I tried washing with a variety of products and methods, but I got no popil. As a last resort, I used a pressure washer, which I believe shredded it. We now have two canopies after switching to this fresh green hue and finding a replacement for under $20. Over four years, the mechanics have held up. It has survived severe storms of all kinds without breaking down. I'd say it's a high-quality item, though I'm not sure you can count on a neglected canopy lasting more than three years, so I'm satisfied. Hope this was of some use.

For visual comfort, I also don't want the book pages to be in direct sunlight. It will likely persist for a very long time, I'm sure.Since I have no way of measuring UV blocking, I will just believe that this device works because the canopy is made of the appropriate material. However, it appears that IR radiation still penetrates (or, absorption of other light causes the canopy to heat). As a result, the shade offered is different from what you might experience under a canopy of thick foliage. Under the canopy, it can get heated.I hadn't anticipated how much tighter the wind flaps appear to be. So, compared to some other goods I've seen, this one may be a little more wind-sensitive.

Over the summer, I bought a tan 10-foot round umbrella, and it had been holding up rather well until I forgot to close it during a downpour. It rose by around 2 feet before falling back to the ground due to the wind. Three of the transparent caps fell off the lights as a result, and the lights ceased to function. In order to see if that was the reason it stopped working, I emailed the company and asked if I could get a few new caps, although I wasn't expecting a response given all the negative reviews regarding the company's lack of communication. I reasoned that since the umbrella itself wasn't damaged, I should wait them a week to respond before using my old solar umbrella lights on it. I sent an email on a Saturday afternoon, and by Tuesday afternoon, the UPS guy was holding my replacement umbrella on my porch! My emails contained their response, which stated that they wanted to please their customers, were sorry for the inconvenience, and that they would send me a new umbrella to make it right. I currently have two umbrellas, but after speaking with the nearby senior home, I've decided to donate one of them, along with some extra solar path lights inserted into some tiki torches, to their outside garden area.

I'm genuinely impressed! Given the price, I didn't believe this would be a high-quality umbrella, but I must admit that I may have been mistaken. Although the actual canopy material is far thinner than the one I purchased for around four times as much, I have to admit the pole is much better, which is what I most needed. I just needed the rod since my pole's tilt pin had broken during a severe storm, but I was so impressed that I'm going to use it right out of the box and replace the canopy when it starts to fade. At this price, I believe anyone would be satisfied! If not, then you must be a hard person to please. merely my sincere view. The umbrella was properly packaged with additional care to ensure immaculate condition upon delivery, and the solar lights even operated straight out of the box!P.S. It is authentic burgundy or wine. It was delivered very swiftly!The fabric is thicker than I anticipated and feels pleasant and robust. It was simple to put on the canopy. It probably took me 5 minutes to lay it out on the patio table by myself. In contrast to other reviewers, mine had a hole where the top piece was supposed to go for reattachment. Be careful while inserting the ribs into the little pockets; I managed to pop a few stitches doing so. If you take your time, though, this won't happen. Get all the ribs into the pockets first, then put the top piece on, while the umbrella is still folded. While you can position it, wait to tighten it until you are certain that the ribs are where you want them.Yesterday when it rained, the umbrella was well-behaved and the water beaded. The fabric's durability is now the only thing left to be observed. If that becomes a problem, I'll go back and review it, but I'm optimistic!

I purchased two umbrellas from two various stores. After two weeks, the other one started to fade, so I took it back to the box store where I first bought it. This one is made of a different material and has held up thus far. I like that it is a bigger size since it provides extra shade for the patio chairs surrounding the table. I often purchase red, but this shade is darker and more burgundy, which I believe is more elegant. It has a vent at the top and can be turned up and down. appears to be nicely crafted. Because I use a cement base, it hasn't toppled over, but when it's really windy and stormy, I usually crank my umbrellas down out of caution after having one fly up and over my fence and land on someone's roof on the next street years ago. In strong winds, I usually advise putting them down because they might be harmful.

Just received today; packaging in fine condition; opened end and allowed umbrella to fall out; read instructions; opened upside down on floor as instructed.Install it in my 4 foot patio table. My entire table is being shaded by the easy-to-open shade, which has a crank. fantastic umbrella for the money.The tilt button is nearly 7 feet off the surface, and since it is situated in the middle of the table and I am only 6 feet tall, I am concerned that I won't be able to reach it. Due to its 10 foot stature, I haven't had to tilt it yet. I found it surprising that none other had brought it out in their reviews.8-20-17 My mistake; I discovered that the umbrella pole wasn't fully seated into the base. It is now around 74" off the deck and within my reach.

attractive red color. If you can reach it over the table below, the tilt operates without difficulty. I had to stand on a small step because I'm only 5'4" to access the button for the tilt mechanism. The lights are lovely and an excellent option for setting the mood. They are neither blinding nor excessively bright. I can easily access the switch to turn them on because it is conveniently located on the pole. I simply assembled the two poles after it arrived and set it in the center hole of our patio table. I just have it for a few weeks, and I'm not crazy about the umbrella's material, therefore I only awarded it four out of five stars. I had hoped for something more durable and substantial, like "Sunbrella." It is not, but it is more coated "duck" material, which is heavier than plain nylon or polyester. We'll know if it endures over time. Only after the tilt broke was my previous one changed after 11 years. I'm hoping I have the same success with this material as I had with the "sunbrella," which was still holding up well.
