Big Bat Box 2-Chamber Cedar Bat House (Unfinished) Review:

I therefore noticed what appeared to be mouse droppings beside the back entrance (pic-1). I questioned whether mice were using the roof to access the house. A speaker was located directly over the excrement (picture 2), and when I looked more closely to see whether there was a space between the soffit and brick, I discovered a surprise occupant (picture 3). That location had been deemed suitable for a brown bat's home. This explained why our neighbor's neglected water feature was causing a decline in the local misquito population. I was scared the bat would go on and find a new home, so I didn't want to disturb it. So I started looking for a new location so we could stop getting poop right at the door. After looking at several bat houses, I settled on the Big Bat Box because of the reviews, the availability of a black model (required for the location's northern climate), and the fact that cedar would withstand the elements better than other materials. I noticed the package was really well built after obtaining it. It was incredibly big for the one bat I was trying to move, but hopefully there will be more. Although the box claimed they used a cedar with no perfume, the bat home did, albeit faintly, smell of cedar. The supplied 4-L brackets and screws were constructed of stainless steel. In case I ever need to take the bat box out of its current location or move it, I went to the hardware store and bought stainless screws. Since the cedar is such a soft wood, I had no trouble aligning, drilling, or fastening the L brackets. The bat box was finally up after enduring a 20-foot installation on the south-facing peak of the roof (pic-4). After searching for a new residence for two days, our tenant ultimately chose to relocate to the more modern residence (away from walking surfaces below). I'm hopeful that our resident bat will decide to extend an invitation to more bats as they make their winter trip south.

Kenley Bat House - Outdoor Bat Box Shelter with Single Chamber - Handcrafted from Cedar Wood - Easy for Bats to Land and Roost - Weather Resistant & Ready to Install Review:

We just recently hung this, so I don't know if bats are already residing there, but I do know that we have them in our backyard, so I'm hoping they'll settle in and stay for good to eat the bugs. I don't have any complaints about the house itself. It arrived assembled with guidance on where to hang it, and it appears to be extremely durable.

INCLY Bat House Kit for Outdoors 15"x9.2"x3.2" Shelter Box Double Chamber Dark Natural Cedar Wood, Pre-Finished Easy to Install Review:

We had a bat box when we first moved here, and I enjoyed watching the bats dive bomb the yard in search of bugs. We had less mosquitoes, and the kids enjoy launching tennis balls into the air for the bat to dive-bomb. I'm not trying to hurt them; I'm only trying to better understand echolocation.Unfortunately, the bat box was not sturdy and collapsed. Although I was considering building a new one, I decided against it because of the price. Are you prepared, Cedar? Sold!We removed our pole, moved it so that it is next to our large pine tree rather than inside of it, and are now waiting for the bats to reestablish. I can't wait, and I'm hoping to welcome a few new neighbors in the spring and summer of 2019. Only time will tell.

Audubon Bat Shelter Model NABAT Review:

Since mosquitoes are the devils and they should die a terrible, agonizing death, I bought this to attract bats to the area around my house. I also wanted "night crew" pollinators for my garden. Install a 15-foot-long 4x4 post and paint it a medium brown color per the vendor's and other websites' recommendations. Not yet, but maybe next year. Some little gap openings were shut off by good construction.

Donaldson Farms Bat House Attractant-Attract Bats to Your Bat House Review:

I applied for my bat house on January 20 after purchasing this in January. I carefully followed the directions. 5 sprays on the house's bottom (entrance). I almost always inspect the house for bats. After waiting as directed for a month, I sprayed five times on the bottom of the home at the end of February. daily checks revealed no bats.On April 1st, the third application was completed. However, this time I chose to do a few extra sprays. 8–9 full sprays as opposed to 5. kept a daily check. Two bats, an adult and a little pup, were found in the bat house today, April 9, 2019.June 13, 2019 Update: I experienced a bat explosion in May, specifically a big brown bat one. I counted 45 bats the first week of June (as they left the bathouse in the evening). According to what I've read, certain bat species will gather just before giving birth. The bathouse included a lot of young. The bats all departed the house this past week after a significant storm. Three days after the storm, I still see two bats in the bat home today.

Bat Attractant Review:

In order to get the pack of bats dwelling in my attic vents to leave, I put my bat box up the previous year. Interestingly, they did, but they chose not to move to my box. They will, as they say, return after having lived somewhere. And just like the previous year, they carried out their plan to give birth once more. I now realized how valuable the Bat Attract was, so I bought it right away to entice them to explore their new habitat. I am aware that it can take some time, but I have faith that they will relocate across the driveway to their new residence and keep taking care of my mosquitoes! I appreciate you producing a natural product.
