I love the Oculus Quest. Its simplicity of use and attention to detail have astounded me. Since the crude VR arcade games of the late 1980s, this is essentially the toy I have imagined. The only little issue I have is that the comfort level is only adequate. I'd prefer it to be lighter and smaller, but this is to be expected while wearing a powerful gaming system on your face.SETUP: After opening the package, I was inside a virtual environment in less than ten minutes, adjusting to my virtual hands by tossing paper airplanes and stacking virtual blocks. Installing the phone app, turning on the Quest, and using a remote to laser-draw a line around the perimeter of your open play area were all really quick and simple setup steps. I'm done.PLAY SPACE: Once you've established your free-form play area, you can safely move around it while wearing Quest. The safe zone limit appears as a huge net in space as you get closer to it, resembling the holodeck walls from Star Trek. Your hand becomes red and there is a cool warning effect if you touch or walk through the border or net. The virtual reality environment vanishes and is replaced by a live camera image of your actual surroundings if you do not swiftly get back to the safe region. I can't express how wonderful this procedure/interface is: it's straightforward, reliable, seamless, enjoyable, and SUPERB!Oculus suggests a 6.5 ft. by 6.5 ft. open play area, which is just enough room to duck, dodge, and hide behind cover. The boundary or net will be less noticeable in a bigger area. I've never wanted to dive on the ground or anything, but 10x10 feet is plenty.Quest is my first virtual reality (VR) headset. The level of comfort is about what I anticipated; it has a little odd, but manageable, motorcycle helmet-like feel. My face feels soft, thick, and comfy against the foam. There are three well-made, easily adjustable straps on the sides and top, allowing me to customize the fit to my preferred snugness. I am conscious that I am wearing a computer on my face, though.I started to get pressure ache after roughly 60 minutes. Perhaps the straps are too tight, but even if they are, I worry that if I move about too much, the headset might become unstable and shift on my head. Certainly, there is a trade-off between facial comfort and tightness/stability in this situation.I have glasses on prescription. A "spacer" that Quest offers that you may use to make additional room for glasses underneath the foam worked wonderfully. There was no interference from my glasses. My face never felt warm, stuffy, or perspired, and I never felt any heat from the system.Visuals: The graphics are passable but not spectacular. It resembles a 720p HDTV in terms of visuals and detail, especially in cartoonish environments, but there aren't enough pixels to make you forget you're watching a screen. Most importantly, movement was never jerky. I never observed any framerate or stuttering problems. There is no ghosting or stuttering, even for moving items that are moving quickly. The system stays cool to the touch, the frame rates are fluid, and there are no wires to restrict your motion—even though the visual resolution feels a few years outdated. Very simple to use, great for sharing and traveling. I'm content to the hilt. Buy it.

The adapter is in perfect working order and performs just like the standard Type-C adapter for the Nintendo Switch would.I bought it so I could have a backup charger for when my primary charger runs out and I need to charge my switch while I'm on the go. Since that is reportedly the requirement for when you were to charge the Switch and the required output for relaying the image to the screen when using a dock, it is incredibly beneficial to have two adapters that charge the switch at 15V/2.6A.The conventional rule when it comes to the Nintendo Switch is to avoid third-party software, but from what I can determine, that only applies if you're using the dock. Although I don't have a voltage gauge or anything, I haven't had any problems using this with the official Nintendo Dock yet.All I truly needed when buying this device was the ability for it to transfer a picture to the monitor using this connection. I currently have two docks and two chargers. One at home with the authorized charger attached, and this one with me in my suitcase along with an additional authorized dock that I bought.

I recently acquired the SHIELD TV model of the Nvidia Shield, not the PRO.What is inside the box?Remote control power adapter charging cable for the NVIDIA SHIELD TV (for controller)What does the box lack?Although this is a bit inconvenient, most people have a spare HDMI cable lying around.Initial impressions of build quality: 4/5 The unit doesn't feel very solid; it feels rather light and fragile. I like handling the gamepad and remote since they both feel excellent in my hands. Just be careful not to drop it. The build quality is sufficient for what it is.Starting off: 4.5/5You must set up the unit with your Google account before you can use it. Either the controller or an Android smartphone or tablet can be used for this. The latter, for me, did not work. On my phone, I got a message saying that something went wrong and the setup was terminated. The on-screen setup is rather straightforward, so no major deal. After configuration, the device will download a sizable (1.07GB) software package before requesting a restart. The SHIELD will bring you to its home screen when you restart it.Input/output: 5.0The main interface is lightning-fast and immaculate. The conventional tile arrangement is used for app layout, and menus are relatively simple to use.Test of HDR: 4.5The HDR support it provides over other boxes is one of the main reasons I bought this. My initial action was to get into my Amazon Prime Instant Video account and launch a "Mozart in the Jungle" episode. As soon as the video started, the TV's settings changed to HDR, and I was ready to go.Amazon: HDR functions.HDR on YouTube isn't working: When playing "The World in HDR," the TV won't switch to the HDR settings.Netflix: 1/16/2016 Update: HDR is now functional. For HDR to function, you must upgrade the Netflix app using the "Google Play Store" button on the main dashboard.3.5/5 internal storageInternal storage in the base edition is 16GB, but after allocation, it is actually just 11GB. If this will meet my needs, only time will tell. It should be noted that the PRO version is the only one with a Micro SD slot; the standard version does not have one. I was able to attach a 128GB USB flash drive to it and use it as extra internal storage.4.5/5 for gamingA few Android games that I had previously purchased from the Google Play Store were tested. I enjoyed playing Goat Simulator and Final Fantasy. Both games have controls set up to simulate using a console, and this works nicely on the SHIELD. Since I don't currently have access to any content, I haven't tried any form of game streaming.5/5 for game emulationI tested a few different emulators because I've been asked a couple questions about emulation and gamepad input lag. I have so far tested NES.Emu, MD.Emu, Snes9x , ePSXe, and MUPEN64. The NVIDIA Gamepad was automatically mapped to the relevant buttons in each case by the program. On the N64 Emu, all of the games I tested played without any noticeable lag, even with the settings at their highest. The gamepad's input lag was nonexistent, and everything felt quite responsive. People who are particularly sensitive to input lag could experience it differently; YMMV.Gaming pad: 4.5/5The game pad is nearly the same size as my XBOX ONE S controller and has a button arrangement that is somewhat more similar to a Sony DUALSHOCK controller, with the D-Pad being located above the left stick. If you want to use the gaming pad, I advise plugging it in and charging it after unwrapping because it does not arrive with a completely charged battery.Distant 4/5The remote does not utilize conventional AA/AAA batteries and cannot be recharged. Instead, it makes use of two "CR 2032" flat cells, which are said to last for about a year. The little button on the bottom of the remote must be pressed with a fine point object (pen, etc.) in order to remove the battery tray for replacement.NEWS 1/21/2017: My remote is now entirely useless, much like many of the other reviewers. At first, I didn't notice any problems with it, but lately, it either responds slowly or not at all. Hopefully, software upgrades will be able to fix this; if not, NVIDIA will have to replace every remote. My remote version right now is 1.03.

This little mouse is adorable! Bluetooth, lightweight, and equipped with a lithium-ion rechargeable battery A regular USB charging cable is provided, and it allows for speedy charging. The niceness of this mouse is beyond belief. To introduce something like this to the market, these people are brilliant. Really easy, but no need to purchase additional batteries! The mouse is essentially flat and only slightly curved, which makes it quite portable and simple to carry around and store, even in a backpack. It's simple for me to slip this into my pocket if necessary when I go to a meeting. The mouse is quite silent. I would strongly advise. My desktop computer uses their USB-C version, which runs on 2.4 GHz WiFi, and it functions flawlessly. It doesn't seem like there are any moving parts. The laser is really precise, and although the mouse does go to sleep to save battery, it is very simple to wake it up. The battery is supposed to last for a few weeks between charges, but I only charge it once a week before I go to sleep. I think it's fantastic that I'm not required to purchase batteries anymore! This organization offers absolutely fantastic and prompt customer service. Never before have I witnessed such a swift and enthusiastic response. I'd suggest getting many of these, one for each of your computers and perhaps some more to give as presents.

This keyboard is great. I got it to use while I waited for my Duck Mini to arrive so I could get used to the 60% keyboard's form size, but I quickly fell in love with it. I haven't had any complaints about it in the week that I've been using it. I genuinely don't think there is a better offer anywhere for $39 than this. This keyboard features mechanical switches, customisation, and a sturdy construction. the following modes Solid color, linear row build up, single key highlight, multi-key splotch highlight, slow pulse (color shift). Some keyboards, like the $100 Anne Pro 2 keyboard, don't even have a height adjustment feature. This keyboard has a variety of switches, so you can pick the one that best suits your requirements. Blue switches are my personal favorite due to their responsiveness and tone. No additional software is required to set up this keyboard because it is Plug-And-Play. Anyone looking for a new keyboard for gaming or simply wanting a gorgeous Bluetooth keyboard should get this, in my opinion.utilized keycaps for this ( HyperX Double Shot PBT Keycaps Pudding KeyCaps)Advantages: Small for factor (allows for much more free space)- Completely adaptable-RGBPlug and Play with Bluetooth functionality- The board has a sturdy construction and won't bend under moderate strain.- PRICE!!!!!!- Height modificationNegative: Mini USB (would be better if it used USB C)

EDIT: Since I've been using this fightstick for almost a year, it's still going strong, and I still stand by my previous assessment. Here is a brief PS4 tip for those who are unaware.Only the first time you set up the fightstick do you need to plug your PS4 controller into it. Other than that, you can simply plug the fightstick in and wirelessly choose the "Legacy Controller Authentication" under Options>Other Settings>Shortcut Settings on your PS4 controller. Just make sure that your fightstick is set to "PS3/DINPUT" rather than "XINPUT." **s— PS: Since I don't own an XB1, I can't confirm whether this works on that system. The F300 excels in its value from the low cost and simplicity of modification! The stock joystick and buttons that came with the F300 are fine and responsive, as others have said, but I'm not sure how durable they are as I modded my practically right away. The modifying procedure is really simple and shockingly simple for beginners. If you're a first-time fight stick modder seeking for information, Google and YouTube are your best friends. I used these resources and discovered that the method is essentially the same for all battle sticks, so don't be hesitant to go in and swap out the components you want. FocusAttack is a reliable website to shop for parts; I purchased all of my components there during a great discount. The following is a list of the components I substituted for the stock ones:Sanwa Joystick with buttons and an octagonal gate (30mm)4 pounds tension oversized spring actuator (1mm)Zero Delay USB Encoder PCB Ball-top Circular Gate 5-PIn Female HarnessMy only complaint about the F300 is that because of my larger-than-average hands, my joystick hand occasionally hangs over the top and slips during some encounters. It's not a big deal because this is a personal matter that I can deal with rather quickly. Additionally, the PS4 has a problem with the first input switch in the top left corner, which is assigned for the platform you are using. When utilizing a 360, XBOX1, or PS4, the "controller icon" is suggested, according to the instruction booklet that is provided. However, my PS4 is unable to use this option. The F300 can be set up as a legacy controller in the SFV's "other options" by selecting the "PS3/DINPUT" option. These minuscule flaws are too insignificant to deduct a star from this well-made value combat stick. My experience with the F300 is restricted to a month of hands-on work, which is supported by hundreds of hours spent using high-quality components in cabinets.

I've been utilizing these headphones ever since their introduction in 2013. I can therefore confirm that they do indeed live up to expectations. Although the design may appear fragile, especially where the swivels are located, the first set miraculously held up until last year, when that particular component really snapped. Throughout this time, the sound quality remained constant. When listening to content with a lot of speech, the mids are notably clear, and the highs are sharp without being strident. The bass is nicely enhanced and powerful. Through the bundled sound card and software, the simulated 7.1 surround sound performs excellently. When playing first-person shooter video games, it definitely helps. The microphone is clean, although occasionally it picks up some "popping" because it lacks a fabric or pop-blocker, particularly when breathing directly into it. By putting the mike in the right spot before you start playing, this is reduced. The headset is fairly comfy and light. They remain comfy even when I wear them for longer than two hours at a time. To avoid excessive material rubbing and irritation, the ear must be appropriately positioned inside the cup. Although it doesn't happen frequently, it needs to be acknowledged. Regarding the cups' fabric, I like that it can be removed and washed. I truly enjoy using this headset, and because of how affordable it is, I've given away multiple pairs. My one complaint, which is also a strength, is that the long cord is too easily knotted and "curly." To prevent it from fraying like a cord with fabric coating, one must be careful and occasionally "uncurl" it. Aside than that, I would most definitely suggest it. Hope this is useful!

Although this is unquestionably an upgrade over the original Pokemon Go Plus, there is still room for development. The best way to utilize the Gotcha:1. Turn on auto-catch new Pokemon, auto-catch duplicate Pokemon, and auto-collect from gyms/Pokestops.2. You can choose your vibration setting, but once you get a feel for how frequently it grabs items, you should probably turn the vibration off. For every interaction, it vibrates several times, and I'm still unsure of what each vibration is supposed to signify.3. In the game, tap the Pokemon Go Plus item to access the Settings menu. The settings unique to Pokemon Go Plus are now accessible.- If you have a lot of pokeballs and want to visit every pokestop and catch every Pokemon: Ensure that notifications for Nearby Pokemon and Nearby Pokestop are enabled.- Turn off the Nearby Pokemon notification, but leave the Nearby Pokestop enabled, if you are low on Pokeballs and want the Gotcha to concentrate on restocking. As a result, the Gotcha will only refill things and won't witness ANY pokemon spawns (new or duplicate). The only alternative to spending a long period perched atop a pokestop and allowing it to rotate automatically every five minutes is to use this method to replenish things quicker than Gotcha catches Pokemon.Pros: 1. Makes it possible to catch Pokémon and spin gyms/pokestops automatically when you otherwise (ideally) couldn't use your phone, as while driving, working, etc. The basic Pokemon Go Plus does not do this action. With the conventional one, you have to manually click it to catch or spin, which means you lose out on a lot more Pokemon, stops, and gyms.2. Never wastes your upgraded Pokeballs because it only uses your normal balls. It will cease attempting to catch any Pokemon once you run out of regular balls. Make sure you disable the Nearby Pokemon notification in the Pokemon Go Plus game options until you have enough supplies because it will still identify them and may fail to see spinning pokestops.3. Spins pokestop/gym signs and captures Pokemon faster than you could manually.4. Possibility to catch Pokémon, Spin Stops, or Gyms while playing another game (such as battling a raid). This may optimize the benefits of Lucky Egg experience.5. Has an unexpectedly high catch percentage given that it doesn't receive berries, enhanced pokeball bonuses, nice/great/excellent throws, curveballs, or nice/great/excellent throws. appears to have a catch rate of about 60%. As a passenger in a moving car, you can't catch everything on-screen before moving out of range, therefore most of the pokemon it captures are ones you wouldn't have even noticed (since you're busy driving) or wouldn't have had time to catch.6. Remarkably little battery usage! When I'm playing the game on my phone and not using the phone app, my phone doesn't have the same significant drain that it does, and the Gotcha itself seems to have a respectable battery life. I've been using it all day and charging it at night, but I haven't yet managed to completely deplete it. When I have my phone locked and unusable throughout the course of a day at work, the battery drains very slightly more quickly than it generally does, but that is to be anticipated. One drawback is that the directions are not particularly clear. I believe I've finally mastered this after using it for a day, but it wasn't at all intuitive, and I had to bookmark the instructions page to keep in mind what the various icons represented. Additionally, the meaning of the numerous vibrations is never explained.2. While this appears to be capable of capturing Pokemon when you're traveling faster than the 15 mph speed limit set by the game, the same cannot be said of Pokestop/PokeGym spins. Accordingly, you go through balls much more fast than you can replenish on them. Exclusively a day or so before I need to switch it back to Pokestops/Gyms only so I can resupply, I can only leave it auto-catching.3. There is no way to set a priority between catching Pokémon and spinning the pokestop. The order of importance should ideally be Catch New Pokemon, Spin Pokestops/Gyms, then Catch Duplicate Pokemon, however in practice it appears that pokestops/gyms are given the least amount of importance. You have to be entirely stopped or traveling VERY slowly because there are frequently a lot of pokemon close to gyms and rest stops before you can begin gathering goods.4. If you have vibrations activated and everything is set to auto-catch/auto-collect, you cannot determine what you are being alerted of by vibrations or vibration patterns alone. Whether it's finding and capturing a pokemon, finding and losing a pokemon, or doing a pokestop spin, everything is a huge mass of buzzes.5. When auto-catch/auto-spin is enabled, the on-screen icons indicating what the vibration notification was for only briefly remain on the screen. The likelihood is that you missed seeing what transpired if you are not paying attention to it when it is up.
