There are 30 different hues, divided into three "groups": neutral hues, neon hues, and translucent hues. The absence of "genuine" orange is my lone gripe. As far as water beads go, these perform precisely as they should and undoubtedly have a squishy, cold, and stimulating feel to them. However, DISCLAIMER, if used or spilt on concrete, they adhere to it and dry up/absorb all the water nearby. In other words, I can't get them up without vigorously hosing them off, and as a result, my yard is covered in tiny, multicolored gelatinous chunks. My 20-month-old kid enjoys playing with these, but due to his early age, he wants toss them all over the place and on the ground. Additionally, I caught him contemplating putting them in his mouth, so be on the lookout for that! He has also never been the type of infant to ingest objects. A more mature child, in my opinion, would comprehend better that they are meant to be utilized in or to sit in the water. Therefore, if utilizing with a young toddler, exercise caution and consider letting them grow before allowing the LO to play with it. They really DO EXPAND A FRIGGIN' LOT! Cannot believe how many balls there are despite their just seeming to be a few. Another suggestion is to follow the instructions on the box. I wanted to capture the enormous amount in the photograph, and that size is as huge as things get.

When I opened the package, my initial impression was that it was fairly little. But after producing a batch, I understood that it's probably more than I'll ever genuinely need or want. According to the directions, combine 1 teaspoon of the dry balls with 5 cups of water. This mixture appears to work well and yields a sizable quantity for experimenting. A decent-sized kiddie pool could probably be filled with the contents of the entire container, which is rather enticing but leaves me wondering what I would do with them afterwards.I had trouble figuring out the colors; the container claims there are 10, but I don't think there are that many. I see green, blue, teal, purple, pink, a different pink, yellow, and orange. The only difference between the two pinks, which are essentially the same color but one is foggy and the other is clear, was having two separate pinks. However, to even tell the difference, you actually need to have them side by side. I don't know what the tenth hue is; did I miss it, or is it even more subtly different from the variations in pinks?In spite of that, I think it's a small issue because I like the way the colors are mixed. After playing with them for a while, they do start to smell a little foul. This is less a problem with the balls themselves than it is with all the dead skin cells and other gross things that end up in them during play. Since this container will produce a ton of these objects, simply toss them out sometimes and create a new patch.

Excellent hues and a great value. My current fave Perler beads are these. When ironed, the stripes have a pretty cool appearance. I had no clue that the girls would end up spending hours playing with the perler beads at our house at a large craft party we hosted for them. We probably used up the majority of this equipment in a single evening. Perler boards must be purchased individually. Additionally, you can just give up on trying to organize all those tiny beads into each compartment's pleasant color. All of them begin in an orderly state, but over time, the colors mingle and blend. Let your OCD loose on this one and embrace the mayhem. (My very favorite bead is the one with the black and white stripes.)

I prefer these fuse beads to the regular ones. Normal fuse beads are basically useless to me because they break so readily. These, however, only require a little spray of water to stay put forever! I can't express how fantastic this is. My son like both HP and Perler beads, and now he can mix the two. The other day, he spent hours creating something, and he wants to create more.
