Okay, I believe my kids have played nearly all of these IQ games by this point, and this is by far the most difficult! That's not to say it's bad, but just be mindful of that going into it. The 2D solutions are roughly comparable to those found in other IQ games, thus I'm specifically referring to the 3D solutions. My 7-year-old and 11-year-old have each solved a number of them. I find some of them difficult. Even setting up some of the answers in 3D, much less actually solving them, might be perplexing. I had to sort of press some of the parts together to fit because of how tightly they had to connect. When you've solved one, you may frequently take out a substantial portion of three or four pieces that were interlaced and glued together.I'm pleased this one is a little harder than the others since my boys and I still like the challenge and it's fun to occasionally get my oldest confused.

It will only take some time to see how well they hold up. If the hinges ever fail, the simplest course of action would be to simply replace them; this wouldn't be challenging. The playing surface is on the exterior when the set is closed, much like any other set in which the board doubles as a storage box. Although it's smaller than I had anticipated, I actually like the size because it allows me to easily store a toy for my 5-year-old in my purse when I need one. My five-year-old son really liked it! He enjoys drawing his own drawings as well as solving the riddles in the boom. He finds the problems difficult, but the booklet's back contains the answers, so he normally just turns there to create the pictures. My son like this toy since he enjoys arithmetic, puzzles, and patterns. The parts are strongly magnetized, which makes them highly stable. There are no sharp edges because they are constructed of a lightweight foam with a magnet on the back. It's an excellent product all around and will keep my youngster occupied on lengthy vehicle drives. Having saying that, I believe it could have been made a little simpler to use. First off, there is only one magnetic surface. The pieces would stay in place no matter where you placed them if both were, which would be preferable. When you open the pattern book that is included, some of the playing surface is taken up. For simultaneous usage of the book and the entire surface, it should fold out and open to the side. It is excellent other from these two issues.

When working with his most recent speech therapist, our kid was first introduced to connect 4. She was a kind, lovely, patient person who we are definitely going to miss seeing each week, and I'm likely going to think of her every every time I look at this thing. They are little, so it astounded me that he had no trouble inserting them the first time. I therefore reasoned that perhaps we won't need this for any fine motor purposes after all. Up to the point where I filled the chip dispensers with them. To the point that he was literally shaking his head no at me each time I asked him to try and pull one out, getting them out of there is clearly a fine motor issue for him.I'd like to draw your attention to the photo I took of the chip holder while we're talking about it. The fact that nothing prevents the chips from slipping out of this device is my one and only complaint about it. A sliding cover for that end of the product, in my opinion, would substantially enhance it. Since there is no other way to reduce the possibility of chips coming out, structurally, storing this product upside down would impose greater stress that could cause breaking along the top area of the game. It takes up more room to keep it in the box, and they can still escape as it slides around the box. And if you buy it for travel, you probably won't want to pack the box because it more than doubles the amount of room it would take up in your luggage, among other things. Just something to be aware of, then. Other than that, as other reviewers have mentioned, this is unquestionably smaller than the standard game, which I adore, utterly love since it's exactly what I needed it to be, and all of the parts are currently functional.
