I must attest to the helmet's effectiveness because it just saved my life. I am a skilled skateboarder, but at 39, I probably shouldn't still be doing it. It took some time to get everything set up properly because there are so many different ways to tinker with it and so much strap material available. I believe there is enough of it such that it should fit nearly any head, however most people will up up trimming part of the end. Simply put, this product's helmet component is well-made and really comfortable. I'm quite happy with that.The visor is likewise pretty great, however it has a few issues that are worth pointing out. The first is that there is a slight optical distortion, which is evident, especially around the visor's edges, but isn't disruptive. The helmet includes ducts where moisture can drop down into the inside of the visor, obstructing your vision a little bit. This is another result of how the venting functions (which, incidentally, works beautifully). Since they won't affect the magnet attachments, I'm very sure you could solve that problem by purchasing a regular helmet cover. In any case, neither of these are major drawbacks; the other night, I rode my bike home in the driving blizzard, and the helmet and visor worked just fine. The visor will fit over a typical pair of spectacles, so that shouldn't be a problem either, it's also important to note.Overall, really happy with the product and would give it the highest recommendation. Despite the rather gimmicky look, the construction is sturdy and the craftsmanship is of really high caliber.

It might have been better. The inside of the helmet's felt cushioning has to be improved.Styrofoam is all that is used, along with a small layer of foam cushioning that is removed after 30 minutes. In addition, the cost was competitive with going without a helmet.

At first, I thought it made my head look ridiculously bulbous, but, hey, my head would look ridiculously ugly if it were smashed open like a melon in the street! It's just plain dumb to ride an electric longboard at 30 mph without a helmet, so, sure. Excellent fit and comfort are achieved thanks to the dial adjuster's fine-tuning capabilities. Even at a rapid speed, it keeps in the proper place thanks to the sturdy straps and buckle. Venting is beneficial, especially while moving quickly because using an eskate reduces your aerobic workload. A good deal that is now a crucial component of my equipment. Recommended.

So I RC'd the grey m/l helmet and ordered the black l/xl one. My son's helmet was damaged at school by other kids, so I actually needed this straight soon. I wasn't happy about that. When I phoned Amazon, they made the exchange for the right one very simple, gave me a refund, let me order the new one, AND they allowed me keep the incorrect one. Fortunately, my son's head size fell exactly in the middle of the m/l and l/xl ranges, meaning he barely fits the one we got to keep and will use.Enough with the subject. In addition, the paddings are excellent, and the helmet itself is incredibly beautiful, robust, and attractive. The ability for modification on the back is fantastic. My son did too. He appreciates the additional capability of tightening it a little bit by turning the adjustment knob. He claimed to have no complaints about the helmet today and to genuinely adore it. It looks good, fits well, and was comfortable. So, I'm a satisfied customer. Tomorrow should see the delivery of the correct size. I appreciate Amazon's prompt action in correcting that.

Purchase the largest size of helmet.A knob that can be adjusted makes for a better fit. Because it's delicate, turn it slowly and softly. Use your index finger to carefully press the end piece down toward the chin straps so it won't get stuck in the styrofoam cushioning as your other hand turns the knob. When the knob is unblocked, it should revolve easily. You'll understand what I'm saying.The bulk of individuals who complain about the helmet being too tiny, in my opinion, aren't able to unblock the knob because of this.You can see that the straps are longer if you take off the velco chin strap. Put the velcro back on after adjusting to your size. Although not the strongest strap, it does the job.To increase visibility, I covered the entire helmet in red reflector stickers.I believe the $15 I paid was a good price.Cheers!
