These washers work well and are in perfect condition overall.First of all, several users have voiced their dissatisfaction that the washers are "thin" and prone to bending. These washers are the industry standard for stainless steel in terms of thickness. Regardless of size or manufacturer, ALL stainless washers are thinner than standard steel washers. Ask me not why; it is what it is. Over the past 20 years that I have used stainless hardware, it has always been this "thin." Although grade 8 or grade 5 washers are thicker, they are made of a totally different alloy and have a distinct purpose. The best approach is to simply double them up, which is what I did.Another unfavorable review claimed that these washers are NOT stainless. My batch proves that to be untrue. I tested these washers with a rare earth magnet, and there was no magnetic attraction. Earth rare. nothing magnetic. The washers here are good. As I mentioned earlier, I have worked with stainless hardware in the trades for more than 20 years, so the hue is indeed authentic stainless.5 stars.

If you came here as a result of watching i1's video to enable automatic trunk opening, I can confirm that it accurately suggests this washer to work with the StrongArm 4129. Since it is stainless steel, it won't corrode and fits perfectly. It also doesn't clatter when the spring bounces on an uneven foundation.Since it's not quite a conventional size and comes in a pack of 100, I'd probably try to find an other use for it before buying or head to your local hardware store and spend a few cents there.

Their thickness is 1.2 mm. They were purchased by me to fasten a u-bolt to a sheet metal car trunk floor. They were successful.If you need to do any shimming, being thin can be advantageous. The area where the seat was fastened to the pedestal of my swivelling office chair wasn't level. I determined that 2.5mm was required on one side. I got 2.4mm from two of these washers. Near enough!
