Great charger! Some chargers, I've discovered, are smaller than others and don't fit snugly. This tiny charger snaps right on to the kindle 8 and doesn't feel loose in the charging port... I always look for a charger that fits tightly so that it won't pop out, etc. I've done a lot of testing, and I've discovered that the wider the fit, the better for kindle chargers; this charger fits to my specs and doesn't pop out; once I find a charger I like, I stock up and buy multiple for each kindle, etc., so you can be sure you always receive the appropriate one. I hope this was useful. You simply need to experiment with several chargers to find the one that snugly fits your particular kindle model, but this one works fine! for my things

Because I have a jerk cat and a bigger jerk rabbit who find it amusing to figure out how to get to the wires, grasp them in their teeth, and tug to try and pop me in the face or foot, I had to change the power cables for my Amazon Echo and Amazon Show. Naturally, this resulted in damaged cords, and once they were destroyed, I required new cords. When I ordered these, I was worried because they were both the same adaptor. They both function flawlessly, so it would naturally turn out that way. Although I had to rearrange furniture to protect the new cords, they are now functioning as they should after many months. The fuzzy creatures have discovered additional, more overt and covert, ways to attempt and harm me, but the Show and Echo are at work as I avoid their murderous intents.

Perfectly fits my Kindle and charges the beast. This is my third Kindle charger. You have to wiggle the thing around to get it to charge until it quits on you. It's time for a new one. The original, then the first replacement, have "broken" at the smaller connecting end. Once the wire loosens up a little, it weakens at that connection and eventually some of the wires break or stretch. But I don't mind at this price. The second one cost much more, and it only lasted for perhaps a year.

The power adaptor that came with my mother's second-generation Echo Show is exactly the same as this one. Her cat is drawn to the cord for some reason, and wants to bite it. If the cat manages to gnaw through the gaff tape, I foresee having to buy another adapter soon.

This was the ideal buY! It came with 2 chargers in the order. I was looking for a package offer because I needed two chargers for my girls’ amazon fires and these are fantastic. They are just right and don’t fall out like the ones the tablets came with. Needless to say my girls are thrilled because now their tablets actually charge.
