Gear Up Guide Bellows Latex Neck Seal Review:

These were bought to replace the neck gasket on a drysuit. Most stores only offer one size, and customers can cut them to make them more comfortable by loosening them up. I always ended up chopping it back since I loathe anything that is really tight around my neck. These are even better because the merchant offers a variety of sizes. I hardly had to cut the XL I bought. I wish I had known about this twelve years earlier.

Bars GORKA-4 Genuine Russian Army Special Military BDU Uniform Camo Hunting Suit Review:

The BARS Gorka-4 is authentic, well-built, made of quality materials, and water resistant. To enhance the performance, spray it with with DWR.Even the "4" pattern itself needs to be improved. The sleeves are constrictive; perhaps it might be fixed with bellows like the American Combat Uniform so you can stretch out both arms without it riding up. When crouching or kneeling, the crotch is excessively low, not gussetted, and restricts movement. I wish all buttons had slot designs a la Canada. The amount of wind resistance varies with the direction of the wind. Anything made of two layers of fabric is wind resistant. Fabric with a single layer breathes. Although a compromise, it's a good one. Why are internal knee pad provisions absent although there are for elbow pads? The form of the pockets prevents them from snagging when walking through undergrowth, and the selection of colors makes them suitable for a variety of locations and seasons. Overall, I appreciate the Russian sensibility of it.Practical alternatives that compete: ECWCS level V surplus, surplus British smocks. quality construction materials, affordable price.

Hollis Men's NEOTEK Semi-Drysuit Review:

I will only ever purchase one wet suit or semi-dry suit. I've owned four wetsuits from four different well-known brands, but none of them compare to this one. Hollis was quite meticulous. Neoprene with a Hollis lava skin core, baffles in the arms and legs, and thicknesses of 8 mm, 7 mm, and 6 mm are used to construct this suit. In my opinion, the level of comfort and ease of movement is unmatched. Very cozy, very simple to prepare meals for oneself, and warm. It took some getting used to to get the shoulder and hood section over your head for the first time. But after the second or third time, it became simple. For the first few times, it was difficult to draw the front zipper across. That was resolved with a small amount of silicone grease. The thigh pockets are really practical. Anything you would like not to have hanging off you, such as gloves, reals, etc. Personally, I keep my finger genuine and dsmb in one side and a spare mask in the other. To connect objects you don't want to lose when you open the main pocket, use the D rings on the inside of the side of the thigh pockets.

Stohlquist Amp Drysuit with Tunnel Drysuit Review:

The essential piece of gear for making boating a year-round pastime is a drysuit. During my 18-month whitewater kayaking trip across Middle and East Tennessee, I used the Stohlquist Amp.I'm still quite new to the whitewater realm, but I've swum a lot in this suit. I have never encountered a leak in this suit while fully immersed. I feel comfortable on cloudy, 30 degree days when wearing the Stohlquist Bunny Suit along with a high-quality base layer. Although the water is freezing when you swim, I've never worried about hypothermia because I quickly regain warmth once I'm back in my boat. This outfit is quite durable. It shows no signs of wear and still appears new. It does not impede motion. Secure wrist and ankle closures fit over booties and gloves. In an open boat, I don't use a spray skirt, but the skirt tube seems strong and well-made.

ZIONOR Full Body Sport Rash Guard Dive Skin Suit for Swimming Snorkeling Diving Surfing with UV Sun Protection Long-Sleeve for Women Review:

I have a curvaceous build and weigh 5.6 pounds. We are going on vacation, so I wanted to be sure I had a suit that fit, so I ordered two different ones. I adored the design of this one and thought it was really well constructed. I like how it zips up the front, and it is extremely flattering. Since the suggested height for medium was considerably shorter than 5.6, I decided to order a big after reading the reviews. I wanted to make sure it wasn't too short because my torso is a little longer than average. Sadly, it was too large. Most likely, a mediums would have been ideal. It was too long, too wide through my shoulders, and had a significant gap on my lower back. Normally, depending on the item, I order small or medium-sized clothing. Instead of sizing up, I should have chosen a size closer to my usual one.

SEAC Unifleece Insulating Undergarment Dry Suit Review:

I got these underwear for a recent trip to the Red Sea, where the water was between 68 and 72 degrees. 90 minutes of comfortable warmth for leisurely dives, but I can also handle chilly weather. There were definitely occasions when I could tell the temperature decreased from the 70s to the 60s; if you tend to feel chilly easily, you might want to layer with a warm base layer (such merino wool) or move up to a 200 weight garment. It was a little snug, so if I had more time I probably would have gone up a size, but the item stretches enough that it wasn't a problem. The only reason I deducted 1 star was because the fabric has started to pill, but I also did 25 dives in a short period of time on the trip so there was a ton of donning/doffing the drysuit. The two-way zipper, which can be zipped up or down, is something I really appreciate because it makes using the restroom and, if you're considering it, installing a P-valve, much simpler.

Stohlquist Ez Drysuit Review:

I was seeking for a reasonably priced suit that was just simple and practical for all-weather water activities because I already own a high-end exposure suit that is difficult to get in and out of. This suit is well made and easy to put on and take off.As with many drysuits, the neck gasket irritates me. I believe this one is not too awful, but it takes some getting accustomed to the sensation on the blood vessels in the neck.A wise investment.

O'Neill Men's Boost 300g Drysuit Review:

I've owned a considerable number of drysuits for recreational use as a diver, either ones I was given or paid for. I purchased this drysuit specifically for wintertime jet skiing. where air temperatures dip to 18 below and water temperatures reach the high 30s. Since I knew the neoprene neck would let some water channel in, but I wasn't sure how much, I was initially unsure about it. I didn't want another latex or silicone neck for the comfort factor, so I was ready to take the risk. I've had this suit for about a month and I really like it. I bought a LARGE; I'm 5'11" and 180 lbs, with broad shoulders. I wear two sets of tight thermals and two pairs of sweats, so this size was ideal for me. I still have enough of room for tricks and maneuvers. Because of bodily movement and other factors, air accumulates in the suit, which also increases buoyancy. Additionally, it helps keep water out and keeps you afloat when you are thrown off at 30 mph. I've fully submerged myself and observed air bubbles emerge from the neck under the water; when all of the air had been expelled, just around 6 ounces of air had leaked back in. Therefore, I made the excellent decision to get a sauna suit to wear as my final layer. Overall, the jacket is well-made, waterproof, has a ridged zipper, is a wonderful price, and has extra features like internal suspenders to keep the crouch up and external recessed cuffs on top and bottom that are ideal for booties and gloves. I was unaware of these characteristics before I bought the jacket.
