HK Army Crash Chest Protector Review:

It feels and looks pretty good to me. This could be worn by itself and be perfectly fine, but I choose to pair it with an unpadded Old Empire throwback jersey. It has occasionally been a touch cumbersome, and I had hoped it would be more breathable, but it has been worth it. It helps with close-up photos, and while the pain isn't unpleasant, I've had several bounces with this device.I got a m/L and it fit perfectly; I'm 5'11" and 195 pounds.

Planet Eclipse HDE Jersey - Camo Review:

Being a bigger man, I had problems locating a paintball shirt designed for the sport. In most jeans, my waist size is 50". I discovered the PE HDE and decided to try it out with the pants. When you are just sitting around, this is HOT to wear, but when you are actively playing a game, the ventilation is priceless. Although the chest padding and forearm padding are excellent and helpful, they are not armor. The substance is really robust. These did a wonderful job of withstanding some extremely tough bushes that tore my last set of BDUs.The camo is also fantastic for woodsball. If it can conceal a large man like myself, it can conceal anyone.

MAddog Padded Paintball & Airsoft Chest Protector Review:

A chest protector was the first thing I needed to play paintball. I've seen a lot of people with welts and bruises all over their bodies; no thanks. I was struck in the centre of the chest by an auto clocker when I utilized this chest protector for the first time. I didn't feel the impact to the extent that I didn't realize I had been hit until the next shot hit me in the mask. No welts or bruising. These vests have worked well for my friend and myself after we both purchased them and worn them numerous times. They are simple to clean; you can either hose them down in the shower (the paint just immediately comes off) or, as I have done, throw them in a front-loading washing machine. After being hung up to dry, they are as spotless and clean as when they were first purchased. The Velcro is secure; I've never needed to modify it while playing or throughout the day. I've had to rapidly pull the vest down because it can occasionally creep up toward your shoulders and expose your stomach. Both of us have experienced this. But it could also be the Empire Paintball Jersey we are wearing underneath, which has a smooth touch as opposed to cotton fabric. Chest, back, and stomach are all covered by the vest. Men, women, and even children older than 10 can all benefit greatly from it. It doesn't protect your sides, but your arm makes up for that, so unless you have your arm entirely up in the air, which shouldn't happen unless you are walking out surrendering after being hit, your arm will get hit rather than the side of your chest. Even though it says Maddog Padded Chest Protector on the product image, you actually get a chest protector with the words ZephYr across the chest, not Maddog.

TIPPMANN Paintball Chest Protector Review:

I purchased this product specifically to wear it beneath my IBA, and I couldn't be happier with it! I tried it the day it arrived, and it worked perfectly for me on its own! Then, I wore my IBA over it, which was quite comfortable, if I do say so myself! This is the perfect padding system to use below your IBA if you're looking for one. Cheers

Maddog Sports Pro Padded Chest Protector Review:

I use this padded shirt for adult over-40 non-contact ice hockey. There may be some "accidental" body contact from time to time, and you might also take a blast from the puck or get whacked with a hockey stick. This garment offers sufficient defense to deflect the blows in a way that partially lessens the harm to your body. In my opinion, this is a good substitute for shoulder padding (if you are playing in a non-contact league). It is comfortable to move around in and does not restrict your range of motion the way shoulder pads do.

MAddog Sports Padded Chest Protector, Full Finger Tactical Gloves, Neck Protector Combo Package Review:

Although the neck brace is a little uncomfortable, the rest of the gear is quite safe and even helped a novice paintball player like myself feel a little cool. Prior to donning the gloves, the hand shoots stung the most. I had no feelings while they were on. fantastic stuff

ALEKO PBCPV53 Paintball Airsoft Chest Protector Tactical Vest Outdoor Sports Body Armor Camouflage Review:

It was swiftly delivered, and we used it for the first time the same evening. For his Halloween costume, my 13-year-old son dressed as Deathstroke in this size small men's. worked great. We tightened it on the shoulders and sides as much as we could because it was adjustable. It can be used for many different costumes that call for an armoured vest appearance. I'm grateful.

MAddog Sports Padded Chest Protector w/Neck Protector Safety Combo Review:

Reversible and lightweight, with padded protection for older children and adults, this item is perfect for playing paintball with my 10-year-old son. excellent value and high caliber...would suggest to other airsoft or paintball players

Zephyr Sports Padded Chest Protector - Reversible Woodland Camo Review:

For what it is, this product is excellent. It is excellent at providing paintball protection. The problem is this. Incredibly small. I purchased it for my son. 5' 6" and 130 pounds at the age of 12. He fits perfectly. (Remember that it measures 11 by 17 inches.) However, my son has good rib protection that almost touches the sides and good overall protection that extends to the waist. When we play paintball, I feel confident knowing he has it on. I donned it purely for fun. I am 6ft. 290.. It looks ridiculous on me because it doesn't even approach my midsection and only covers half of my chest in width. Even worse, the back offers no actual protection at all; it only covers a small piece of my back at the top.Summary: "One size suits most youngsters." Do not purchase this vest if you are huge. It is a high-quality item, but I would definitely buy it if they had one that fit me!

Dye Precision Performance Padded Paintball Top Review:

When I play rough contact sports, I need a padded undershirt that I can wear covertly beneath a regular shirt. That's why I bought this shirt. In light of this, I deliberately searched for a body-hugging, form-fitting shirt since I didn't want it to appear too thick. Regarding the size issue, I don't believe they have a problem with it. This shirt is about the same size as one of those dry-fit, tightly fitting athletic shirts. The padding, which makes it seem more constricting, is the only thing that makes it "feel" smaller. However, it's easy to put on due to its high degree of stretchability. Not because it's small exactly, but more because the additional padding makes it more hard and constrictive thus it doesn't come off as readily when you try to remove it. Normally a medium, I ordered the S/M and thought it was great. Get your typical size if you want a tight-fitting shirt. Get one size larger if you want something little loose. You can tell that this shirt was intended to be a body-hugging garment just by looking at its contours, so if you prefer something that will fit loosely like a t-shirt, look for something else.Well, let's get to the good and bad. The cushioning is the only drawback I can find with this shirt. The cushioning is well designed and in all the appropriate places, but I have to admit that it's a little too soft for my tastes. You are protected by the cushioning to a degree similar to wearing a bubble jacket. Although they are reasonably thick in person and may appear heavy in the photograph, they are simply too soft to provide that much protection. It performs a respectable job of removing the sting of paintballs, especially glancing impacts, but if you are hit directly, you will still receive welts. When I recently sparred in rapier fencing, I gave this a try, but the results weren't quite as good. Almost every push and stab that was directed at me still hurt. Still, I suppose soft padding is preferable to none. But compared to other padded shirts I've tried, it gives you much better movement due of the soft cushioning. It's still better than any other padded shirt I've tried, but I won't say that you "won't realize" that you're wearing the shirt (as other people here have suggested). You'll always be aware of the discomfort of wearing a padded shirt (as opposed to a normal shirt). Additionally, it works well in cooling and wicking sweat away. But the thing that really sells this product for me is how it appears. This shirt is very attractive! I don't mind wearing it by itself at all. It looks fantastic with jeans, which I wore with it. It effectively makes your chest appear larger (if it fits you properly that is).I gave it four stars since it's a stylish shirt that adds paintball protection and accomplishes what it's designed to do. However, I don't believe you can use it for any other contact sport due to its softer cushioning. I would have given it five stars if the padding had been stiffer.
