These are fantastic, by the way! I've owned a set of them for for 2.5 years, and they're still in almost brand-new condition. Except for the occasional nick here and there, they haven't lost any of their reflective coating, and only recently has one piece fallen off and become lost. They've actually outlasted the bike wheel I first mounted them to. They are also BRIGHT. When the headlights of an automobile shine on them, they truly light up. Since they are sufficiently bright, you really only need one set of them. They don't even need to be placed on each spoke. Every other spoke will function properly.Why then do I only give them four instead of five stars? Basically because I don't like how they appear during the day. They are a silvery-gray tint that roughly matches my spokes, but despite the color, they stand out in the sunlight since they are considerably thicker than the spokes and are about the diameter of a pencil. They irritate me because they make the wheel appear cluttered. I put up with that since I far prefer having a bike that is visible at night to one that is attractive during the day. (However, if you can't stand it, pick up some White 100-Inch Roll Lightweights Reflector Tape. It is nearly unbreakable, less conspicuous in daylight, is less dazzling, and loses its "shine" quickly when soiled.)Just a couple more things to consider regarding these:1. They must be cleaned frequently because they lose a lot of reflectivity when they are filthy. I use the same Simple Green concentration to wash the rest of my bike to wipe them off, then I rinse. The reflective coating doesn't appear to be harmed by the Simple Green.2. They will obstruct your tire levers when you replace a tire if you install them close to the rim. But it's not a big deal to move them while changing the tire near the hub and then move them back after you're done.3. They only allow you to see from the side. To be seen from all sides, you need good headlights, taillights, and spoke reflectors.But if you're wondering whether they're worth the money, the response is YES.

I just installed them on my bike today, so I can't speak to how long they will last. They appear to be of decent quality, but if they come off or the reflective covering wears out, I'll update my assessment.To put them on, you will undoubtedly need pliers, as stated by other reviewers. To protect the reflecting surface of my pliers from damage, I cushioned them with multiple layers of masking tape, and it mostly worked (I tried one without the padding and it did seem to damage the coating a bit, so definitely do pad them). To put them on effectively at first, it could require a little bit of trying, but once I got the hang of it, it was pretty simple.They are obviously quite reflective, so I don't worry about that.

This was my buy for the dark ride home from work. It works quite well on its own, but I also use it with another light. On the tightest setting, I thought the mount felt a little loose, but I haven't experienced any movement or unintentional tilting. I charge it once every few days to make sure it won't die on my way home; my commute is roughly 7 miles and takes 15 to 20 minutes. A battery metre to indicate when the battery is running low would be wonderful to include. Would purchase once more

The 20" kids' bike that they rode was a nice match for the reflectors.I was able to pull the old reflector off of the holder and slide the new one on because the front reflector on the bike was broken. I had to completely replace the back one because the bracket on the bike had been broken off.The brackets don't seem to be particularly adjustable and are overly big, as others have noted. It turned out okay because I was able to use a piece of cardboard as a shim to make the smaller one fit on the back.I'm relieved that I didn't have to use both brackets!

I've never posted a review before (as far as I can recall! ), but these reflectors are excellent and might significantly improve someone's safety. One night, my black Cavalier King Charles Spaniel ran away and was completely dark as she ran down the street. I purchased them to attach to his harness if he did it again because it terrified me to death. I wasn't sure if the painted metal and plastic buckles on his black nylon mesh and strap harness would stay in place. I positioned them everywhere (do have to be careful when taking them off of the plastic). The ones on the mesh and nylon straps adhered properly when I pressed them over the provided red paper with a warm (not hot) iron. To remove it without ripping the reflector off, you must really press down the paper's edges over it (I used my fingernail). Even the ones over the seams are fastened and look excellent despite being somewhat wrinkled. In reality, they appear to have been created when the product was first made. I glued the others on the plastic and metal, thinking it would be fantastic if they stuck but not really expecting much. Every surface was adhered to by the glue. I think the directions were really clear and concise. fantastic stuff

Okay, I'll admit that the incredibly cheap price made me dubious. However, the reflector arrived as predicted. Hole placement was flawless. I got two bundles of three reflectors because I have five bikes and wanted a spare. A nut was missing from one reflector, but for less than $3 plus delivery, that's pretty dang excellent. How good these items are for the price is impossible. At the neighborhood bike shop, you could easily purchase one of these guys for $10. Good work!
