I only use these in a treat container on my belt because dicing produces irregular "corner" pieces due to the roll's round cross-section.So I suppose my advice to the manufacturer is to try manufacturing these with a square or rectangular extrusion. Amazing stuff. I chop it up and give it to him in his training sessions as a "higher grade" treat. If sealed in plastic, one roll keeps well in the fridge for 3–4 weeks. He eats whatever is left over after class that day for dinner. The fact that it's a well-balanced cuisine and not just a treat is what I like most about it. I initially tried it since my trainer uses it frequently and highly recommends it. I'll probably ultimately try the other tastes.

This food must be delicious! (I don't want to give it a shot.) My G. Shep, however, thought the Lamb was really fantastic. I haven't given him any beef or chicken yet. His fussy nature keeps him too skinny, so I bought this to help him get more calories because he's usually fairly picky. I like using these as dog training treats. Treats can rapidly become expensive, especially in the beginning when you are using a lot of them to reinforce desired behaviors. In addition, most everyday treats from the grocery store are usually not very healthy for children and are more comparable to fast food in terms of nutritional value.To finally begin teaching our puppy in earnestness, I was spending $10 for a 6 oz bag of the highest quality training goodies I could find at PetSmart. YIKES, that was never going to work with a giant breed dog the size of mine (she's approximately 5 months old and getting close to 60 lbs lol), who can easily consume 4 of those 6 ounces in a heavy training day. Since chicken is even less expensive than the training goodies, I knew I either needed to prepare it and shred it or find an alternative.Then, recalling that I had previously purchased this for my older dog as a food treat (she typically consumes high-quality DRY kibble), and recalling that natural balance was the best quality to price ratio I could find at the time, I decided to try this as a training treat to see how it would perform.Oh my goodness, with my huge, active girl, a roll of food that was cut into training-sized cubes lasted me more than two weeks! What a fantastic deal, plus it's a good-quality food that may be used as a reward during training that won't harm their health.Both of my dogs are enjoying it, and even my older dog, who used to get pee treats 12 years ago, is coming in after her potty breaks in search of the treats and performing behaviors she hasn't done in a while, such feigning dead, just to get some of that.If you use it as rewards for a smaller dog, I believe smaller rolls are available. Alternatively, you may simply freeze chunks as you open it. My daughters enjoy each flavor.

My absolute favorite workout reward, and it's also very affordable. It is extremely convenient to be able to break and cut them to the appropriate size in your hand. The beef holds together the best, so I prefer it. 12 cups of sweets are available, which I will portion into 2 cups for each sandwich bag. The best. Whoever is serious about dog sports, recommend. Additionally, buying on Amazon with Prime is far more affordable than doing it at pet stores. If I'm in a hurry, I'll go buy them at PetSmart, but a 3.5-pound roll costs $13 to $14.

I've probably been buying these for training treats for dogs and as a dog trainer/behaviorist for perhaps 17 years.I've sent back three rolls because the moisture has been inconsistent throughout the past year. They arrive nearly mushy and are not suitable for chopping. However, they are generally good.One roll lasts a few weeks since I cut it into little squares, place it in a large zip-top bag, mix it with dry dog food, and teach dogs every day. The canines remain attracted to be because of the overwhelming smell and maybe tasty taste. Even for the chance to smell my hands after handling, they will work.It doesn't smell as bad as it once did. When I used to smell it from my customers, they would comment that it smelled like summer sausage and were enticed to try it for themselves. Now that I have to give the humans other food since the smell is still potent enough to entice the dogs to eat from my hands. I might at last give something fresh a shot.

The meat and turkey were a hit with my two dogs. The lamb roll has not yet been unrolled. I train with it for agility and obedience. Compared to the slippery hot dogs I was giving them, this is much easier to manage. I like that I can cut it into the desired size without it crumbling. I believe that I received a great deal of value for my money.

I attempted to utilise this as a more orderly substitute for Natural Balance or Red Barn but discovered it lacked the same high value as a reward.
