My cats were covered in fleas. To get rid of them, I've tried a ton of other things, but nothing has helped. So far, Pest Peeve has been effective. Although there are still a few fleas, I think that is because I have only recently been using Pest Peeve. One fantastic thing is that, unlike when I use chemical items that put on the back of the neck or flea collars, my cats do not become sick. The fact that Pest Peeve does not smell horrible like the sprays I have tried is also a pleasant advantage. Although a little dusty, Pest Peeve produces excellent results and doesn't make anyone sick. All is well thus far. I appreciate you providing this product, and I will keep using it. My dog doesn't have many fleas and doesn't spend much time outside, but I still found one on her. I know that when you find one flea, there are usually many. Since I don't enjoy applying insecticides on her or around me, I looked for a non-toxic alternative. I started by locating a bar of DERMagic soap and ordering it along with the powdered DERMagic Diatomaceous Earth in the tiny shaker.I first gave her a shampoo bath. Although we just saw one flea leap off, I guessed there might not be many since we did not see any more. I sparingly sprinkled the powder on my carpets as I waited for her to dry, paying particular attention to the areas next to her bed and where she lays. Since it's a very fine powder, I didn't use much; instead, I gave the room a little dusting by shaking the bottle from a little distance above. I then moved around in my stocking feet to allow it to penetrate the carpet fibers before letting it finish its task.I lightly sprinkled some on my dog once she was completely dry, taking care to prevent any inhalation. With this substance, a little goes a long way, so I hardly required any. To distribute it evenly throughout her coat, I gave her a brushing and massage.The problem was resolved after I detected one half-dead flea on her the following morning. A couple of days later, I gave her another flea combing but found nothing.My dog did not experience any skin irritation while using this powder, thus I believe we will keep using these products to prevent fleas and ticks throughout the summer.I just want to warn you. My buddy warned me that her friend had used diatomaceous earth to harm her vacuum. I didn't have any issues at all, however I did replace the filter after vacuuming. She claimed her friend bought, I believe it was a 2 lb bag, when I questioned her how much her friend used. Undoubtedly far too much.
