My horse's feet have been practically falling apart ever since we switched climates from extremely dry, rocky, and cold to hot, humid, and abrasive sand. Please note that in order for the farrier to trim him, I used to have to SOAK the mustang's feet in water before to the trim. For nearly 18 months, my Quarter horse's hooves really looked bad. The frog was hardly discernible, and his front feet were cracking. I tried the Life Data Farriers Formula as advised by my farrier. His feet looked 100 percent better after I used it for six months. It is a complete feed, according to the manufacturer, so you don't need to supplement. They caution that excessive supplementation may have negative health effects. I buy standard strength so he can have a treat in the evening. Even though you only need to feed half as much of the double strength product because it is the same thing, my boy prefers more because it is his "dessert." The business is excellent; they're incredibly friendly and knowledgable. I would share before and after pictures if I weren't so technologically impaired, but I hope my review is still helpful.

I truly enjoy this item. Really innovative and useful design—the integrated hoof pick appears to be so uncomplicated but performs superbly. It manages to remove dried-on poop pretty well without damaging the hoof in any way. And turning it around and spraying instead of reaching for objects on the floor truly helps save back work and time. Previously, I was using it approximately three times per week when there was more severe thrush and the frog was a bit mushy and had crumbly white chunks flaking off when I cleaned the central sulcus.When I returned from a trip abroad, my horse developed a mild case of thrush. I immediately noticed the smell, although it wasn't too unpleasant. The minor case was cleared up in just one or two applications. Even if you hold the can at various angles, the spray does really function.I pushed the trigger back on my first can after it had come off. My thumb was extremely blue and there was quite a bit of blowback when I depressed it. Even so, I wore a rubber glove while using it. I nevertheless decided to purchase a second can. When I press the second can, a tiny blue dot emerges exactly where my thumb is on the trigger. When I contacted the manufacturer, they suggested that the can might be slightly clogged. I still truly like this product, so if the third can works out, I'll update. Since my cans fly across the globe to Asia, where it's hot and humid, they may have endured a more difficult journey.I find the product to be very effective, even with the minor inconvenience of having to wear a plastic glove when I apply it now. I really enjoy how it covers a good area with a short spritz so I don't have to hold up my horse's leg for an additional five seconds because she is bigger and leaner.

After utilizing this medicine for a month, there was significant improvement in the treatment of white line illness. My farrier recommended some rehabilitation for my new horse, and I'm very glad he did. This is what I do if you're attempting to decide how to treat and are like me. Three times a week, ideally for up to 45 minutes, I bath the feet of all four of my horses. In a water bottle with the top removed and measurement lines drawn on it, I combine the 50/50 vinegar solution. I then pour it into a size 2 diaper, completely soaking the lining. I put the diaper on a fairly clean foot, wrap it all in a portion of a heavy-duty trash bag (the kind you can get at a hardware store), then duck tape it all together at the pastern. I let him stand in his more padded stall while I threw a flake of hay at him. I definitely feel like a little scientist going through the procedure, but it's worth it!

Amazing boots! These boots were purchased for usage with clean trax. They performed flawlessly. For 90 minutes, my horse had to stand in them! So I required a reliable boot. The bottom of the boot has a handy thick foundation that fits within. The boot would be even better if it were linked to the base. The base of the boot seems to float when I fill it with solution to soak in, so I have to push it down to the bottom. Once you push it down, it does remain there, but be careful that it will float to the top. I appreciate that extra straps were included. Compared to the strap that was attached to the boot, I found the straps to be easier to utilize. They are STRONG and simple to work with! 4 uses later, no rips or tears. At 90 minutes per use! 17h 1250# is a BIG horse for me.I would definitely suggest this boot to a friend, and I wouldn't think twice about purchasing it again.

After reading about how old sailors used pine tar and pitch to maintain the rigging and seal up wooden boats, I used this to weatherproof some hemp rope for my porch swing. does not stay sticky after being absorbed into the rope, and the rope still has a slight piney and hempy fragrance. However, I didn't use much. Now that I've realized it doesn't ruin the pleasant features of my rope, I might go back and add more.
