The other was easier to put on, had no lining, and a board in the flat bottom that never rests flat, but it worked great for years. After a trip, my shoulders were constantly uncomfortable. However, he adored it. I can honestly say that after experimenting with three various kinds over the years, this one is the simplest to use and the one that my dog appears to enjoy the most.
