I ultimately purchased all 3 of the series (water, food, and treats). They are all so expertly constructed and sufficiently weighted to prevent movement on the floor (you know how bowls like to walk at night). The water bowl didn't seem to hold nearly enough water, in my opinion. Even though I only have one cat, I like to keep plenty of water outside in case I get kidnapped by a bad guy. I can at least think, "At least my cat has enough water till someone finds I'm missing," while I'm restrained. So I used the water from his old ceramic water bowl.Now, this was good for me because I discovered that the food bowl simply wasn't large enough (yeah, I have size issues). It did a great job of holding the food, however my cat only eats wet food and is toothless (I would get him dentures but I'm worried he'll lose them). Therefore, the food simply slipped out of the bowl and ended up all over the side and the floor. What a freaking mess, ugh. But the water dish arrives to the rescue (but not to free me from the lair). Apparently, the water bowl was the purrrfect (sorry, had to do it) place for the food.As a result, I now use the treat dish for goodies and the food bowl for dry food (since I don't feed him a lot of it) (major surprise there). Everything turns out well. The three bowls are now in perfect harmony and excelling in their new roles.How does the cat feel about everything now? None at all. Put the items outside; the cat doesn't care where you put them.Oh, I took pictures of the bowls because, well, what else is there to do for a single guy with a cat? This is the ideal bowl I've found for giving our flat-faced cat wet food.It is elevated, which was a need.He nibbles his way through canned pate since he is a messy eater. This bowl is sufficiently flat so that he may comfortably place his face inside of it. It is wide enough and has exactly the right amount of rise at the corners to allow him to eat without pushing much of it over the edge and without having to maneuver around any sharp angles. He still creates some mess, but not nearly as much as when using a regular bowl. If the cat approaches the bowl from the low side and pushes the food up toward the high side, my FelliP Oblik actually works nicely. But for some reason, depending on how he feels, my cat prefers to approach the bowl from various angles. It's a messy supper if he approaches the FelliP from the side. Therefore, this Binkies bowl's symmetry benefits our cat more frequently.A matching Binkies water bowl would have been nice, but it wasn't available. With the intention of utilizing one of his smaller, deeper bowls for water sitting on top, I also purchased one of these for water. That actually works just great, however I have to change his water two or three times a day to keep it fresh because some food particles find their way into the water dish. Because he receives filtered water, it all adds up. As a result, I started using the second Binkies as a water dish by itself. It's not the best container for water, but since I change his water two or three times a day, it contains plenty for the purpose, plus because of the shallow shape as opposed to a deeper bowl, less water is required to provide him easy access to the water.Since every cat is unique, I'm convinced that not every cat will respond well to these. But as far as providing canned food to our cat goes, it's the best we've discovered.

These are wonderful, and I adore them. I'd like to think that my cat enjoys eating from these adorable dishes more. But to him, it probably makes no difference. I'll just remark that the raised bowls are fantastic. Due to his size, I always think it would be uncomfortable for him to eat from standard dishes and bowls. He formerly had raised metal bowls in a set with a bamboo holder, but the metal rusted and was difficult to clean of food residue. Food simply rinses off this ceramic, making cleanup much simpler. Additionally, the food bowl is roomy enough for feeding even an entire can at a time (5.5oz), but we just give him half a can per meal. The water bowl is also incredibly deep, which is excellent. These bowls are certainly recommended. They'll also provide you with something cute to look at.

These work excellent as cat bowls, which is why I got them. If the cats make a wild leap and miss the bowls, the water doesn't spill everywhere. Overall, they function better than the dishes I previously owned because they don't tip over, but the bottom is just the same hard plastic as the rest of the bowl; there is no padding that would prevent slipping. If any force is applied that is greater than a casual stroll to the food dish, these bowls will move about. Additionally, the front and back of the bowl include a small lip that makes it simpler to clean up the kibble. I took this as them giving you an extra piece of each as a just in case. We bought this for a dog that is about 26" (2 ft. 2 in.), and the 10 inch version works best for her. The wood looks great; there are some imperfections, but only if you look up close to it, so realistically unless you yourself are eating out of it,
