I'll admit it: I'm totally addicted to recorders! I document everything. I *DO* have three special needs children and live in a one-party consent state. My home is a fortress; I have cameras and recorders on every handbag, truck, laptop bag, and other object.I am really happy with this bad boy, which I bought as a backup for a comparable device that I use constantly.When this recorder was brand new, it was fantastic. Although it is compact and has a sleek appearance, it has amazing performance capabilities. Both its appearance and how it FEELS are excellent. "Esthetically pleasant" barely begins to cover it!Playback, recording, and turning it on and off are all simple processes! The files can be transferred with ease. I only use OS X computers, so I can't speak to how simple a transfer would be over a Winblows system, but it was immediately identified as an external drive and mounted in the appropriate place.I did use the free VLC player to interface with the recordings because I never use QT player because it is terrible.It's really simple to set up the device, and you can even choose the output and audio file compression.For testing purposes, I took a recording of a speaker phone call while the phone was on my desk and the recording equipment was tucked away in the cushioned laptop sleeve's pocket. I've purchased a number of additional little digital voice recorders, and each of them has had issues. This one DOES WORK! It is simple to use and has many useful functions. It is so easy to use that I've been using it without any issues since I took it out of the box. I'm just now starting to read the user's handbook that was included. I've downloaded files, removed files, and more, but I haven't yet found a Chinese menu! One of the other recorders I purchased (and later returned) became stuck on a Chinese menu, and I was unable to switch it back to English.The buttons are logically arranged and simple to use. There is always a battery indicator on the screen, so there are no surprises when it's almost time for new batteries. I use it to record voice, and while the recorder's speaker is decent, headphones make the voice even clearer.Another feature I enjoy is that it plays the file when you try to delete it so you know exactly which file you're deleting. Nice. Additionally, it can accept an external microphone, and it includes a "hold" option that disables all buttons so that accidental bumps won't damage it if you put it in your pocket.I'll get another one of them if this one stops functioning. I've finally found one that works!

So I looked online for an excellent, portable, digital audio recorder that was also simple to use.I use this recorder to record meetings, interviews, and daily training sessions at work because it has 16GB of internal storage.Because it is a USB rechargeable recorder, you won't ever need to worry about finding batteries for it. A USB cable makes charging it simple, and it appears to charge quickly. I can fit it inside my shirt or pants pocket because it is so little. It has music playback for any MP3 or WAV format files and is really simple to use. It downloads or uploads quickly to my iTunes library. I adore technology and get especially enamored with well-made high-tech gadgets. Since I wanted to admire it, I brought this with me wherever I went for the first several days. There are undoubtedly a wide range of uses for a tiny recording device like this. My particular need is to write down ideas that suddenly come to me at inconvenient moments before they go (like dreams do). These ideas may include names I've forgotten, the best way to express a certain emotion, or how to put something complex into simple words. The issue is that this occurs while I'm driving far too frequently, yet trying to activate the audio recorder app on my smartphone is too difficult and risky while I'm trying to navigate traffic. With this gadget, turning it on is as simple as sliding my thumb down the power switch, which is conveniently positioned on the top right side. Next, press the large red record button at the top to start recording (press again to pause). You may learn to identify the buttons by feel thanks to the tactile markers on the buttons.I had the Sony ICD-PX470, a comparable but somewhat less priced model, in my shopping cart. Pushing the red record button and waiting another second for the recording to begin after it has finished booting up takes around a second. Once more, the software is extremely powerful and constitutes a sizable portion of the recorder's value—enough so to be taken into account when determining the price. Although you can use Windows Explorer to transfer files using this as a USB flash drive, using the software adds a lot of capabilities.NEWS 6/11/2018: I still find this device to be helpful for my needs, which include saving random thoughts that I want to remember, better ways to say something I want to say, long-forgotten things that suddenly come to mind, new facts and sources, and anything else that can be stated verbally that I want to remember. Writing a note on my Note8 or one of my PCs is my choice of competition. Backing up is one issue. My Note8's notes are allegedly backed up to Samsung's cloud, but I haven't yet tried to come up with a different solution. There are numerous ways to back up and preserve notes on my PCs in the cloud. The issue is that I don't always have access to my computers. I always carry a small pouch with me that is fastened to my belt when I'm out and about so I can quickly whip out both my Note8 and this tiny voice recorder. I absolutely enjoy taking notes on my Note8, but this recorder has certain benefits as well. I currently think that using the recorder is more secure because it is simpler to backup to (so far) and can't be compromised until it is attached to a hostile environment as a USB drive.

Recordings can be copied to a computer for listening.I appreciate stealthy people. The item's outside appearance. The color is entirely black. There are no printed words on it, such as Mic, Record, Menu, etc. No one in the class is aware that I have a recorder on and that it is recording when I just turn it on.- For a 128 kbit recording, an 80 MB lecture would be 1 hour and 25 minutes long. This device includes 16GB, allowing you to record numerous lectures.- It's not a poor recording quality. It did pick up sounds like individuals coughing and flipping through notebooks. However, it records the voice of the professor, who is around 30 feet away.- My friend used his iPhone to record a lecture, and the file type is m4a. It functions after I copied it into this device.
