There's no simple answer to this question as it depends on a number of factors, including the quality of the soundbar and the speakers, the size and layout of your room, and your personal preferences. In general, soundbars tend to be less expensive than comparable speakers, and they're much easier to set up and use. However, they don't typically provide the same level of sound quality as a good set of speakers.

A soundbar is a great option. It will help improve the audio quality of your TV
A soundbar is a device that enhances the audio output of a television. It is a long, slim speaker that is placed either on top of the TV or below it. Soundbars typically have multiple drivers that produce different frequencies of sound, which creates a fuller, richer sound than the TV's built-in speakers. Many soundbars also come with a subwoofer, which adds even more depth to the sound. So, do smart TVs need a soundbar? Not necessarily. A soundbar can certainly improve the audio quality of a smart TV, but it's not a

First of all for this review I would like to say thank you to the amazing individuals in tech support with this unit.I bought this as I was wanting a decent sound bar at a decent price without breaking the pocketbook. This one suited the bill not only was the order swift and on time it was early. The set up was extremely simple and straightforward ,sSould quality is fantastic for movies and music.Good depth of sounds highs and lows. Now for the difficulty....When I ordered I was received an email saying thanks for purchasing etc..in it it indicated that if I wanted to disable the standby mode to reach out to them which I did.The response was swift less than 12 hrs ..in it offered instructions to dl an upd file on to flash drive , instert ot and turn on unit and the process should end within 5 mins and the power off...unit never powered off nor would it turn off from remote or power button. I reached put to tech suppourt wondering if I missed a step..the reacted wuickly saying not a problem they have had before and they with talk with their team about it.12hrs later they replied snd told it is unknown issue but the would mail me another unit express,..2 days later new one came ...works well and no stand by mode...Thus is probally longest review I have written , but honestly the help via email was top notch and to top it off they were not concern with returning old unit hence less hassel attempting to rebox and ship.

The 24in soundbar I purchased from Taotronics was great, but this soundbar elevated everything to a whole new level! I put this one in the living room with my larger television to address the problem of the sound from the television coming from the sides instead of the front, which makes it difficult to hear. Everything is fixed by this sound bar! The sound advances (obviously), but it also almost envelops you for an incredible, dreamlike audio experience. I did not anticipate getting such a bizarre feeling with a soundbar alone. It appears that the soundbar is constructed of wood, which gives it excellent quality. It doesn't feel in the least bit cheap. You may choose between the three available modes based on what you're listening to—music, games, or movies—and it will modify the sound for a better experience. With this, every movement can be clearly heard, and even though there is a lot of bass, the sound is never muddy. With this, the highs don't sound shrill either. It was really simple to set up as well. In about ten minutes, my father—who is undoubtedly not a digital whiz—was able to set up the soundbar and pair his phone with it using Bluetooth. (Although he could only get the soundbar to come on and couldn't figure out how to connect it to the TV, so he only got it set up partially, but you get my idea.) It often takes less than five minutes to complete the setup because there are only three connections that need to be connected. The soundbar may also be mounted on the wall; all the necessary hardware is included, but I haven't attempted it because I don't need it. Sincerely, I don't think any Tao tronics soundbar can really go wrong.

Excellent sound quality; voices are sharp and clear without being overpowered by bass, yet still have enough bass in movie parts where it's required for effects. There is no need to turn on the soundbar separately when used with many more recent Samsung TVs, which may seem little but is actually incredibly convenient. It just so happens that the soundbar on that specific TV model, if you are not wall mounting it, fits *exactly* between the two TV legs. I bought it to go with a 55" Samsung QN55Q8FN TV.The soundbar comes with a wall mounting kit that includes a wall mounting guide, two brackets, two screws, and two bracket attachments. The brackets can be spaced either 616 or 360 millimeters apart. When the soundbar is installed on the wall, the brackets are hidden because they attach to the rear of the device. Usually, the subwoofer is positioned on the ground. Naturally, power connections are included, as is a remote. An optical cable is also provided for connecting to the TV, but an HDMI cable is not. The soundbar and subwoofer are wirelessly connected.Excellent sound, very simple setup, and unquestionably fantastic value.

Updated in December 2019: Still going strong.Prior to 2018: I purchased this speaker a few weeks ago, and it has performed admirably thus far (November 2018). According to the directions, I put in both the HDMI ARC and optical cables, and after switching the TV on and off, it began to function. I push the Apple TV remote and my TV and it goes on instantaneously. My TV remote controls the volume (or Apple Remote). Although there are three different voice clarity buttons, I haven't needed to use any of them, which is a major benefit. Another issue that many other sound bars have is that the bluetooth synchronization is difficult to use. Although there is no Alexa connectivity, this undoubtedly contributes to the affordable price (no mics or networking hardware, a plus in my opinion). The wireless subwoofer was simple plug-and-play and provides absolutely sufficient sound for a living room that is only moderately sized. Without any requirement for synchronizing, I simply plugged it in behind the couch and it worked flawlessly.Additionally, this model does not have any of the issues that plagued the previous version, such as turning off after 30 seconds if there is no audio input, which is fantastic. It effortlessly mounted to the bottom of my TV and had a reasonable price. The two "spacers" that were included in the bundle are something that I am unable to identify. It didn't seem like the instructions specified what they are.

I have to admit that I am an electronics snob and want items that have the best appearance, sound, and longevity. Like the majority of you, I typically avoid things marked "refurbished" when I see them. However, after looking into this sound bar, I discovered that the only reason it is classified as reconditioned is because Costco did not sell them and instead had them in special Costco crates. The soundbars had been taken out of their packaging. These were sold by Costco for $499 at the shop. They would have cost $649 at retail if they had been offered for sale somewhere other than a discount warehouse retailer. Consequently, you effectively save 80% on this caliber of sound bar. That's why I made the decision to fire the gun.For its size, the audio quality is amazing, particularly the surround sound and bass. Depending on the type of program you're viewing, it offers a ton of various features that you may explore and experiment with. When I'm watching a movie, Netflix, or a sporting event, I frequently select the surround sound option. When I'm watching a regular show or the news, I switch back to the original sound. Back and forth switching is simple. If you're playing music or other stuff like that, it also features a bass booster. Moreover, the bass has a clear sound. No vibrating or rattling. The bottom truth is that there may not be a better deal on Amazon for an electrical equipment after doing the research and hearing the goods.

In order to match with a new TV in my office, I got this soundbar. Since it would be in an office, I knew I wouldn't need surround sound or any other particularly sophisticated equipment, so I focused my search on stereo soundbars that would fit under the TV and had enough power to produce complete sound and realistic bass on their own. I was aware that I wanted to be able to offer multiple types of input (optical and line in, at least). Most importantly, I wanted the soundbar to be visually appealing in the setting of an office, without any silly light displays, garish knobs, or showy trim, etc. After looking through possibilities at an electronics store and on Amazon for a while, I had a general idea of the power range that would be best for my needs and the most typical features for this kind of soundbar. Based on features and appearances, pricing, and extras, in that order, I whittled it down to this one. With not only optical and line inputs but also a 1/8" stereo aux input, Bluetooth functionality, and even a USB connector for thumb drives, this Megacra device met my technological requirements. Additionally, there are multiple EQ/DSP settings available to fine-tune the sound depending on the source content, and the remote can be trained to "learn" how to operate the TV remote. It's great to know that these extra options are accessible even though I may not use them very frequently.Benefits: Wattage- Multiple inputs, - Looks/Design, and - Audio quality (wired and wireless)- Remote access capability - Simple setup- Add-Ons (as described above)Neutral: - It appears that the "connected" confirmation tone plays at a louder volume than the default sound setting when switching to Bluetooth input. I haven't played around to see if there's a method to change that volume differential because I don't believe I'll use the Bluetooth capabilities very frequently, if at all, because I already have a separate Bluetooth solution. It's also feasible that my phone, not this soundbar, is to blame. If this loudness disparity bothers you and you notice it, I'm confident the tech support staff can assist you.Cons:sNone.This soundbar is a wonderful addition to my office and matches the new TV well. I've already received a number of compliments on it. I'm glad I persisted in working on something simple. What mattered to me was that I had great sound and saved money.

First off, I have to admit that Sonos REALLY knows how to produce a good sounding speaker because I'm a professional musician with quite discriminating ears. They are expensive, but you get what you pay for. For music, I already owned two Sonos One speakers that I adored. I had a full 5.1 system for the TV sound, including an AV receiver, a subwoofer, front, rear, and center speakers. Lots many things occupying a lot of space Although the sound was excellent, it was simply too much for my small condo. With the help of this tiny Beam speaker, I was able to eradicate everything. When I connected it to my two Sonos One speakers, the surround sound quality was almost as good as my prior full-5.1 system. The change has me EXCITED.No, the bass doesn't sound as rich as it did coming from my massive Velodyne 12" subwoofer, but it's still adequate for my room. With the two Sonos One speakers set in the room's corners and a reasonable distance to my left and right, I get a nice surround separation. One VERY IMPORTANT thing I also discovered is that you can change the Sonos settings so that the TV and music use the speakers in different ways. When I played music after adding the Beam, the default configuration used the same surround separation as the TV. Since the TV sound automatically places the majority of the attention on the Beam front speaker, I truly missed the rich, deep music sound I used to have when I only had the two Sonos Ones. I discovered the "Ambient" surround setting for room adjustments, even though TV and music may be adjusted individually. I changed the music's balance to make it again originate primarily from the Sonos One speakers. Eureka!! Once more, a large, lovely musical sound. The speakers know to use full surround when I play the TV, but when I play music, they use the Music setting, which makes more use of the Sonos One. I adore it!I can't express how wonderful the sound from these speakers is enough. I adore how little room they occupy yet producing a huge, resonant sound. highly advisable

The top and midrange of this sound bar are quite clean and well-balanced. You don't need to change those levels. Although some reviews have complained that the bass is missing, that is to be expected and is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a sound bar with an RCA subwoofer out because I enjoy my wired subwoofer and have one already. Few people still have this choice. You are limited to using the supplied wireless sub. To go with this, I found a 150-watt powered sub at a thrift store for $5 (a deal), and the system now sounds like a $200–300 system, in my opinion. Sound bar volume perfectly follows sub volume. I used an old piece of coax cable (cable tv kind) and some screw on RCA adapters for the ends to run a long cable to the sub (25ft), through the crawlspace to the back of the couch. If you have a compression tool, you can also get crimped ends. The bass signal has no static, and while watching movies, it jolts the couch! When I stand close to the sound bar, which is set at knee height, it produces good, room-filling sound without any loud patches. This makes it suitable as party music as well.Just enough space is left by the wall mounts to run cables up to the TV or behind the wall. When the mount buttons fully engage the cleat without exerting excessive force, turn the mount buttons out by a quarter turn. They won't want to go all the way in if they are screwed tightly into the sound bar. Per bracket, only one sturdy sheetrock anchor or stud is required; the second can be a wood screw that has been just-slightly tightened.Additionally, the inputs are a really good feature. Two separate analog inputs, two coax digital inputs, an excellent bluetooth connection that connects quickly and sounds just as well as any other source, and two additional features that others don't have are all pleasant touches. It can be a little challenging to set up without an LCD monitor, but the documentation is adequate. The lights are remarkably unobtrusive once they are installed. After a volume change, there is just 1 faint led left lighted to show that the device is turned on.
If you're looking to improve your TV's sound without breaking the bank, a sound bar is a great option. But do sound bars work with any TV? The short answer is yes, sound bars will work with any TV. But there are a few things to keep in mind when choosing a sound bar for your TV. First, make sure that the sound bar you choose has the right connections for your TV. Most sound bars use either HDMI or optical audio connections. Second, keep in mind that not all sound bars are created equal. Some sound bars are
There is a lot of debate over whether soundbars sound better than TVs. While it may depend on the specific model and make of each, there are some general things to keep in mind. In general, soundbars tend to have better sound quality than TVs. They also tend to be less expensive, which may be a factor for some people.
A subwoofer is a device that reproduces low-frequency sounds, typically below around 80 Hz. Soundbars are devices that improve the sound quality of televisions. They typically include multiple speakers that produce sound at different frequencies. Most soundbars include a subwoofer, which reproduces low-frequency sounds. While a soundbar with a subwoofer will provide better sound quality than a soundbar without a subwoofer, it is not essential. If you are looking for the best possible sound quality, you should consider purchasing a separate subwoofer.
A soundbar is a loudspeaker that projects audio from a wide range of frequencies, typically 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Soundbars are designed to improve the sound quality of televisions, and can be used with or without a subwoofer. The lifespan of a soundbar depends on a number of factors, including the quality of the components, the frequency of use, and the environment in which it is used. Generally speaking, a soundbar should last for several years with proper care.
How much you spend on a soundbar will largely depend on how much you value sound quality. If you are someone who loves to have the best audio experience possible, then you will likely want to spend more on a high-end soundbar. However, if you are someone who is just looking for an improvement over your TV's built-in speakers, then you can get by with a more affordable option. Ultimately, it is up to you to decide how much you are willing to spend on a soundbar.
There's no right or wrong answer to this question, as it depends on personal preference. Some people prefer to have their TV and soundbar be the same brand for a cohesive look, while others don't mind mixing and matching brands. Ultimately, it comes down to what you think looks and sounds best in your home.
