This is a really beautiful hard shell, clear case for the Sony Hi-Res portable player (NWZ-A17) that is so difficult to find a case for. The shell is incredibly translucent and shiny, which really highlights the look of the somewhat less-than-desirous painted surface that Sony, for some odd reason, opted to put on a $300 player. The player snaps into place, and the fir it great. There are carved out for the mechanical buttons on the side, as well as for the lanyard string opening on the bottom right of the player. Unfortunately, the front mechanical buttons are not covered, but it is likely more that you really can't hide these with a hard shell design. The case does, however, come with a detachable screen protector, which, when coupled with the pricing, is truly a five star offer.Note:sI've ordered a couple items now from iGadgitz, and they have been fantastic each time. Shipping is swift, and when I had a customer support issue, I was addressed immediately and helpfully. Great company to buy from.

This item was excellent. extremely effectively shielded the iPod. The objective is that it is difficult to open. It shouldn't open up each time you drop it. In the end, I sent it back. A custom screen protector, a few different chargers, a soft and hard case, and a screen whipped are all included in a really great package bargain on Amazon. All for the cost of this case and a screen protector acquired separately.
