I normally don't give product reviews, but since it happened to me—the unit exploded in my kitchen—I feel it is important that folks are aware of this possibility. After charging, I removed the cartridge, and unbeknownst to me, the piece that holds the cartridge came off, along with the N2O cartridge, and POOF... My kitchen was a disaster... fortunately, I was in control of everything when it happened... other than that, the device worked well for a few uses, lol.Please look at the pictures to see what I mean.Additionally, since the used cartridge is stuck within the white piece that was used to mount the cartridge, the item is now unusable as a result of what transpired.I made an effort to reinstall the cartridge in the canister securely.I could see that the cartridge would only lodge more tightly, indicating that it is useless.It's possible that I overtightened the cartridge, but I didn't use much pressure.Hopefully, the images will allow everyone to see or understand.Update...I contacted the business and explained what had happened to them; they responded right away and expressed a desire to understand, which I appreciated; they also tracked down the returned item to be quality checked so that it wouldn't happen again; and finally, they called me to further discuss the situation. It's wonderful to have a dollop of whipped cream on a cup of berries for dessert when you're following a low(er) carb diet. This is the most convenient route to take. However, I had previously heard "grave warnings" concerning accidents involving pressured dispensers, which I won't go into here. I suppose some of the ones with plastic tops might malfunction, but not this sturdy industrial tool made of metal. All of the fittings are well made, and the container is made of strong metal with an even thicker screw-on lid. I'm not sure what pressure it can withstand, but I'm confident that it is much less than what a tiny 8 gram cartridge is capable of. The top's threads are really sturdy, and everything fits together quickly and simply with excellent sealing. The additional lid seal and cartridge holder that are part of the box are also thoughtful additions. The spares are in the package because those are the parts you are most likely to lose or damage. Overall, it's a well-made, well designed, and attractively packed product.
