Presto 07061 22-inch Electric Griddle With Removable Handles (Pack 2) Review:

This griddle is beloved by my hubby. After he used one in a vacation rental home and mentioned that he enjoyed it, I bought it for him. He now frequently utilizes this.Even after almost a year of ownership, we still adore our griddle. Why you should adore this griddle:1 - The non-stick coating is both truly non-stick and highly long-lasting. It has a somewhat irregular surface that isn't smooth and has a type of pattern on top, but it is extremely hard and non-stick. On the non-stick surface, it even holds up well when using metal utensils (I know, gasp).2 - It heats up quickly and can become fairly warm.3. For cleaning and storage, the handles and power cable can be removed.4 - It's large; it can accommodate eight or more pancakes at once, eight grilled cheese sandwiches, or six slices of bacon and four cooked eggs. ample space on this griddle.Negative aspects of this griddle:1. Some of the components feel flimsy. The grill surface is excellent—heavy and long-lasting—but the grease drop tray is made of cheap plastic, and ours cracked after a few months (not sure what happened there - I was not present at the time). The handles are OK in and of themselves, but the removable clips that hold them on appear to be more brittle than they should be. Usually, we just leave them on.2. The grill's heat distribution isn't perfect. There are no cold areas, only hotter and hotter; it's not like the surface is terribly uneven. You pick up on the hot spots rather fast and can move food around to ensure that everything is properly grilled, fried, or melted. The truth is that the cooking you do on this grill is quick, labor-intensive, involves lots of flipping, and generally just requires that you move things around to achieve the desired even cooking.3. Cleaning can be difficult. Although the drip tray and removable handles can both be put in the dishwasher, nothing else can. The handles are also a little tricky to remove. When you are setting up the grill and it is cool and clean, you may flip it over thanks to the clips that are on each end of the handle. But when it's hot and covered with bacon grease, it's a little more of a nuisance. (As I mentioned before, we typically simply leave them on) - due to the size of the griddle, cleaning can be a little difficult. It would be somewhat challenging to rinse this without our kitchen sink's hose-equipped faucet. If you don't want leftover bacon grease to flavor your grilled cheese (though, hmmm, that actually sounds sort of wonderful), the non-stick surface is great, but the pattern I indicated in the surface does make it a little more essential to use a soft brush and clean it off. This item doesn't really fit anyplace. It simply doesn't fit in any of my cabinets, even with the handles taken off. I considered the refrigerator's lid. A portion of the counter is now sort of leaning up against the wall. Or, of course, just relaxing on the island while my spouse uses it every day, especially when I'm away.Short review: really delighted with this appliance despite a few flaws.

Presto 07062 Ceramic 22-inch Electric Griddle with removable handles, Black Review:

Over the years, we've owned a lot of electric griddles. Despite the fact that I routinely hand wash them with soft scrubbers, they have all developed hot spots and the nonstick coating has never held up. The majority of the cooking is done by my husband, who cooks a variety of foods on the griddle, including eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, and hash browns. He can observe their performance under various heat conditions and with various demands made on the amount of oil needed to lubricate the griddle's surface. We had been pleased with our ceramic pots and pans, so when the time came to replace our griddle, I looked at the ceramic possibilities and discovered that the Presto 07062 Ceramic 22-inch Electric Griddle with Removable Handles had the best reviews at the time. The price is also very reasonable. So, I bought it.For the past two months, my husband has used this griddle frequently, and each time, he remarks on how much better it is than any griddle we've ever owned. It is true that the heating ring leaves a visible stain on the top of the griddle; however, this mark is more of a loss of ceramic sheen than a true discoloration. The cooking is unaffected, but it will never again have that fresh-out-of-the-box appearance. Thus, we are uninterested in that. The entire surface has a definite diamond pattern texture. This completely dispelled my fear that it would collect dirt and bake it into a tough crust that would be impossible to remove. This griddle is incredibly simple to clean! Check out the picture with this review. The only two scrubbers I ever use to clean the griddle are a plastic scrubbing ball and a nail brush, and it displays both the diamond pattern and both of them (for fingernails). I use the scrubbing ball to scrub the griddle's surface clean, give it a quick rinse, and then use the nail brush and some of the residual suds to run diagonal lines across the griddle in both directions. This removes anything from the diamond texture's low spots. It is actually quite rapid and efficient. Never once do I need to work hard. Even tough, cooked-on food is simple to remove. The most crucial thing to remember is to NEVER use nonstick spray on ceramic surfaces! It melts in the heat and leaves a very sticky residue that is very difficult to remove. With the help of our typical ceramic-coated pots and pans, we discovered this. Use only high temperature oils on ceramic surfaces; on the griddle, we typically use butter. This griddle doesn't require any oil at all for cooking pancakes (or, obviously, bacon and sausage); instead, we use a tiny bit of butter and spread it on the area of the griddle that will be used to cook the eggs. The drip pan is also more than big enough to hold all the fat that comes from six slices of bacon, we've discovered.I have no qualms about recommending this griddle.

Dash DMS001AQ Mini Maker Electric Round Griddle for Individual Pancakes, Cookies, Eggs & other on the go Breakfast, Lunch & Snacks with Indicator Light + Included Recipe Book - Aqua Review:

Cool little gadget for when you need to rapidly prepare a small amount of food without causing a mess on the burner. It is primarily used by me to fry one or two eggs at once. Cooks from both sides and completes the process while I multitask on other things usually in less than five minutes. My eggs are cooked to perfection and are fluffy. I don't even need to use butter or cooking spray. The egg has never stuck to it for me. I simply wipe it down with a wet paper towel while it's still hot, let it cool, and then store it. I adore the simplicity of usage and the color RED! I use this anytime I go on vacation or go camping. You may easily plug in your car for a hot lunch or snack if it has the right socket, as many do these days. What else could you prepare by cooking or warming it? Be imaginative, then. A tiny slab of meat, such as a hamburger, chicken breast, or some veggies.

Cuisinart 5-in-1 Griddler, GR-4N, Silver with Silver/Black Dials Review:

My husband and I didn't like our George Foreman Grill, so we bought this Cuisinart Griddler. Black 4 Serving Removable Plate Grill, George Foreman GRP1060B. It lacked temperature control, the drip tray melted whenever hot grease fell into it (or after being placed on the top rack of the dishwasher), and it just wasn't big enough. I believed this would be the one for us when I discovered it on Amazon and read the glowing reviews. Therefore, I placed an order for it with the Cuisinart GR-WAFP Griddler Waffle Plates.Since receiving it, I've used it at least ten times. I've already prepared waffles, eggs, bacon, pork chops, toast, and a Philly steak sandwich (with the waffle plates I purchased separately). Except for the first time I fried eggs on it without using cooking spray, everything has worked out well. So bear in mind that before placing anything on the plates that can stick, you will need to lightly coat them with cooking spray or apply butter.I adore having the choice between utilizing the grill plates or the griddle. With the Griddle setting, you can choose a temperature ranging from 200 to 425 degrees. If you utilize the Grill/Panini setting, you can choose between warm, low, medium, hot, and sear as your temperature. There are additional markers between those settings, allowing you, for instance, to choose a setting of medium-high.Despite the fact that the plates—including the waffle plates—are dishwasher safe, I choose to hand wash them on this Cuisinart after years of owning a George Foreman. The George Foreman plates never seemed to get particularly clean when I put them in the dishwasher. I suppose it is simply too challenging to cut through all that grease and stuff that has been burned on. On this Cuisinart, the plates are quite simple to clean. Since the plates are non-stick, I can easily clean up any messes that arise. Nicely done.I appreciate how this grill's drip tray is attached underneath the apparatus. I was quite frustrated with the other grill because of this. continually having to set it precisely where it should be under the grill, then finding something to do with it till it cooled off. Since I have pets, I didn't want to leave it out for fear that they may mistake it for food. Since the drip tray is attached, I can remove it whenever I want, clean it, and then replace it in the slot. Easy as pie.I adore that I can fold this appliance flat and cook toast, bacon, and eggs all at once. It is fantastic. It is very lovely not to constantly having to clean up a ton of pots, pans, and cookware on my range.Overall, I'm quite happy with this Griddler. It is undoubtedly one of my favorite Amazon purchases and a wonderful replacement for our old grill. Please let me know if you found my review to be helpful. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to write them below and I will get back to you as soon as I can. I appreciate you reading my review.

Presto 07047 Cool Touch Electric Griddle Review:

Being a "cool touch" hot plate, I purchased this item thinking it would be safe to use around the grandchildren. However, as it turns out, the hot plate is actually extremely hot to the touch. Except for the perplexing marketing, it's a genuinely useful small gadget. The grandkids, notably Casey's 5 and 7-year-old, slightly fat but wonderful children, love playing "cooking sausage" for hours on end after being taught not to touch the Hot TouchTM surface. We simply let them go to town frying it up after purchasing them bulk pork sausage at the neighborhood Piggly Wiggly. gives kids hours of entertainment so I can work outside. It works out well for everyone because we won't have to bother about fixing lunch afterwards. The youngsters have even begun cooking the sausage in mayonnaise after becoming imaginative (Helmans is the best). Nevertheless, after using it for a while, I discovered that it was also very useful for other purposes when the kids weren't using it for "cooking sausage," such as warming up my motor oil to make it pour more quickly (I also didn't want to thermal shock the lawn mower engine with cold oil), melting down my recyclables to free up more space in the can, and providing a flame-free source for my alcohol distiller (don't tell the wife, lol). We also discovered that placing it under the blankets in the winter is an excellent way to warm up the bed by your feet before getting in. Cold feet irritate my wife. a fantastic and adaptable tool! Red Copper 12919 Chef, 1 Review:

We have used this practically daily since we got it less than a week ago. Our initial creation was a delicious chocolate cake with caramel Milky Ways in the center. Then, the following morning, we all ate omelets. The 5 Minute Chef has been primarily used by my husband to prepare apple pie and hashbrowns. Although practically everything else took exactly five minutes, it takes longer to make hashbrowns; I believe he gave them 15 minutes each. You can use fresh grated potatoes, which is what we did, or dried potatoes, according to the recipe book that comes with it. It will take a long time to finish Frozen. If my husband asks me to order another one so he can cook more quickly, I won't be surprised. Nothing sticks, so cleanup is quite simple. We made the hashbrowns with a little oil. We are eager to try out more cuisines.

Hamilton Beach 38518R Durathon Ceramic Griddle, 200 sq. in, Black Review:

Since becoming an adult, I have owned four different griddles. This one can accommodate a whole package of bacon. It has a flatter design than several I've owned, which simultaneously solves and creates problems. Eggs can be cooked without falling down the drainage hole, however occasionally bacon fat needs to be poured off if it doesn't entirely drain. Copper's non-stick surface makes for a simple cooking process. My one and only recommendation is to cook food at a lower temperature since this model's sweet spot is around 275°F compared to others' ranges of 300–350°F.

Dash DMG8100AQ 8” Express Electric Round Griddle for Pancakes, Cookies, Burgers, Quesadillas, Eggs & other on the go Breakfast, Lunch & Snacks, Aqua Review:

So sure, I was duped into the mini as the proud owner of a dash mini. Because I adore it, but as the family grows, so do my pancakes, it was a blessing in disguise. I carefully studied the reviews before purchasing this one, which also creates large omelets, fried eggs, and quesadillas, all of which I have used this week. Everything works excellent, however the temperature control is a touch high on one side. As I use it more, I will grow accustomed to it. I enjoy it overall, and I suggest it.

BELLA 14606 Copper Titanium Coated Non-Stick electric-griddles, 10.5 x 20 INCH, Review:

Fantastic product! These negative reviews of the product are somewhat unfounded. This pan has to be seasoned, per the instruction handbook and my personal expertise as a cook. The instruction handbook advises washing the pan with mild soap before use and carefully drying it because it is copper after all. After heating it (dry and empty) for 5 minutes at 450 degrees, turn it off and allow it to cool for at least 15 minutes. This will remove the burn mark that some people have claimed exists and aid to maintain the non-stick surface non-stick. When seasoned, the pan does become a much darker copper color. A high-quality electric skillet with actual temperature degrees on the element rather of just low, medium, or high was what I was looking for. The dial on this skillet displays the degrees. Cleanup is simple, it's accurate, it looks fantastic, and it heats up quickly. Worth every penny of the $20. At Macy's, this same model costs more than $30. Superb value! Purchase this!

BLACK+DECKER Family-Sized Electric Griddle with Drip Tray, GD2011B Review:

I wanted an electric griddle because I'm having a pancake/waffle party shortly and there will be more than 30 people who will be destroying my house with breakfast preparation. I used to have an old electric griddle that I adored, but it was neglected and scraped up over time. This would therefore take my position. There is some animosity for this product in the reviews, however not all of it is deserved. The complaints are worth taking into account: the chord is indeed somewhat short, so if you don't have access to a suitable outlet, you might require an extension. And sure, the bottom does become extremely warm. This isn't really a complaint; it's simply something you should be aware of so that you don't nuke your table. It's a cheap cooking item. Many of the other reviews lament the inconsistent cooking or temperature-setting issues. That seems like a strange complaint, given that all electrical heating elements have this problem. Just take a quick glance at the bottom to locate the coils and make plans accordingly. It will work just fine if you also let the item to pre-heat and diffuse heat throughout. It's simple to cook eggs, bacon, and pancakes without having to worry about the edge of the pan.The ability to make pancakes for myself and my daughter without having to decide between waiting for mine to complete cooking while she eats or attempting to keep the first batch warm in the oven is probably the nicest part for me. Read the directions, start the oven, then enjoy!
