Best Funnels in 2020

Norpro Canning Wide Mouth Plastic Funnel, Green, 4.75in/12cm Review:

This is a handy little funnel, needed once in a while in the kitchen. I buy alot of olives, and wash them off in a strainer under the kitchen sink faucet, then I want to put some of the olives back into their original glass jar for later use. Getting them from the strainer to the jar has always been a problem. Then I discovered this neat wide mouth funnel.

Works great, and easy to store away for future use.
** Width of the top wide inlet section is 5 Inches diameter
** Lower narrower bottom outlet is 2 1/4 Inches diameter
** Height of funnel is 3 Inches top to bottom
** lower half spout is 1 inch downward into the jar mouth

** The plastic it is made of is fairly soft and MORE flexible than a rigid breakable type of plastic, so using it is more flexible and sturdy if it should drop on the floor.

KongNai Silicone Collapsible Funnel Set of 4, Small and Large, Foldable Kitchen Funnel for Water Bottle Liquid Transfer Food Grade FDA Approved Review:

Edit: While the funnels still don't suit my needs the seller did everything they could to make it right so I edited my review.

I thought the idea of these funnels was good, they'd take up less space when not in use and overall they did that job. The silicone is a little flimsy but that's not a huge deal as it's just a funnel and doesn't need to be sturdy.

However, one HUGE glaring flaw arose when I tried to fill a bottle with it; the silicone is so flimsy and bendable it creates an airtight seal between the bottle and the funnel. This creates a situation where the liquid doesn't flow into the container without having bubbles come up and splash it back onto you. Not only does it make the funnel much slower than it should be but if you're dealing with anything hot you're probably going to get burned.

Now I see why people use hard side funnels, the little imperfections in the funnel allows air to pass through much more easily. I really wanted to like these funnels but I just can't use something that is only going to do a half job of what it was made for.

OXO Good Grips 3-Piece Secure Fit Funnel and Strainer Set Review:

First I will say that I have given these funnels a five star rating not because they are the greatest things in the world, but because they are the best funnels I have ever owned.

The advertising for these funnels that talks about the ribs that allow air to vent from the destination container is true, although they don't provide a LARGE amount of space between the funnel and the inside of what you are using for a destination. But the space they provide IS quite adequate for the purpose intended.

They balance well on the top of a destination container as they don't have a large handle on one side that would tend to weigh one side down. The small thumb-hold and the ribs for venting are made of a substance more like rubber than the plastic body of the funnels. Which makes them easier to handle. NO fumbling with THESE babies!

The outside of the funnels are a textured plastic which gives them the TINIEST bit more traction for handling them, while the inside of the funnels are VERY smooth and slick making for easier cleaning.

At first I was the tiniest bit confused about where the strainer was supposed to go or how it was supposed to work, and THEN discovered that in the larger of the two funnels are three small nubs that allow you to "snap" the strainer into place. These "nubs" are NOT present in the smaller unit. The strainer is very useful for straining the detritus of frying french fries from the oil they were fried in (or anything remotely similar that require a straining action) although the holes in the strainer are large enough that they allow SMALL particles to pass through. It would NOT work well for loose leaf tea ...

Dimensional measurements below were made with an electronic caliper and are approximate ... rounded to a single decimal point. ID = Inside Diameter, OD = Outside Diameter.

SMALL FUNNEL------------------------------LARGE FUNNEL
Large end OD: 4.2"----------------------------------4.5"
Small end (at the tip) OD: 0.5"---------------------0.7"
Small end (1" back from the tip) OD: 0.8"---------0.8"
Small end (at the tip) ID: 0.3"-----------------------0.4"
Length: 3.2"-------------------------------------------5.2"

Overall, I've got to say that I am extremely satisfied with these funnels, as I think that all aspects of what a funnel should be and do have been well thought out and executed. Anybody not satisfied with these funnels is just TOO picky to live ...

Lakatay 5-Inch Food Grade Stainless Steel Kitchen Funnel with Strainer Filter for Transferring of Liquid Dry Ingredients and Metal Cooking Funnel—Silver Review:

Recently my sink backed up and I just knew that I had to start doing something to keep it from happening again. This funnel is a huge help.

The stainless steel is wide and thick enough to handle still hot fluids when I transfer it to a container. Even when pouring from a heavy cast iron skillet, there are no spills. The neck is concave to allow air to pass the neck of the container without burping or splash back. I love it.

Mini Funnel Small Funnel 5-Pack for Lab Bottles, Sand Art, Perfumes, Spices, Powder Funnel, Essential Oils, Recreational Activities Review:

what can one say about a funnel? It has two holes of diminishing size and liquids pour through it. It doesn't dissolve on contact with water. You can wash it. And so far, it hasn't fallen apart. The size of the opening in this case is what's important and if you measure the size you want it's the same as what it says for the funnels (both of which I did and it was true) then you will get what you are seeking.

All life should be so simple..

To quote Kurt: "If you don't know what a funnel is, have your mother show you one."

1.25" Stainless Steel Mini Funnels for Miniature Bottles, Essential Oils, DIY Lipbalms, Cooking Spices Liquids, Homemade Make-Up Fillers (6 Pack) by Super Z Outlet Review:

Ok. Pictures can be deceiving and I don’t read everything. Smh. But we got such a kick out of these when they arrived because the whole stack fit in the palm of my hand... and then everybody had to have one because they were so CUTE! So, I have 2 left. They are great for refilling my antique spice jars and they fit perfectly on the spice rack shelf where I never have to look for them!

Norpro Stainless Steel Funnels, Set of 3 Review:

I purchased these funnels to use to transfer all of my spices to new jars. Before I bought them, I read reviews and knew that the funnels would be very small and guessed that the flow rate would be slow, but I underestimated exactly how slow. I thought that the "air release channel" in the one funnel would help things move more quickly, but no dice for me. It was honestly better for me to use one hand as a funnel over the spice jar than any of these funnels since it was so slow and tedious and considering cleanup of the funnel needed afterward.

The funnels themselves are well-constructed. They are made as two pieces and crimped together but feels and looks to be sturdy. The funnels don't have thick lips that stuff gets trapped in, so clean up is pretty easy. They are attached together by a ring, and don't nest 100% inside each other, but good enough to fit in a slot in my drawer.

If I have small amounts of liquid to transfer these would suit well but as is, my toddler has gotten a lot more use of these as a musical instrument than I have as a kitchen tool.

My advice is to pay attention to the size of the stems, not the size of the top funnel openings when deciding if these will be right for you.

2 Pack Silicone Collapsible Funnel, Flexible/Foldable/Kitchen Funnel for Water Bottle Liquid Transfer Narrow and Wide Mouth Funnels Hopper (Green and Blue) Review:

Originally ordered these to use to funnel water from my fridge water dispenser into my reusable water bottle - works beautifully for that! Ended up using the other one to funnel fabric softener from a giant Costco sized container that had cracked into another container and it worked well for that, too. Good to have around the house!

Majic 4-Pieces 4-Sizes Plastic Funnel Set for Car Oil, Gas and Fluids Review:

I have so many uses for these. Filling shampoo, detergent, soap, etc. I have not and will not use these for any food items. It doesn't say NOT to use them for food items, but since it does give example uses and does not mention food, I decided to steer clear of using it with something I plan on consuming in my body.
I thought one (the big one) would be good enough, but then the very next day I needed the small one as the container opening was too small for any of the other funnels, so yes, eventually all of them will be used.

they are funnels, they function like funnels. the smallest is about an inch in diameter and the largest one is about 3 and a half inches in diameter and I have washed and heat dried them in dishwasher and they came out fine.
