Yes, you can use food coloring to make a candle. You will need to use a clear or white candle and add a few drops of food coloring to the wax. You can experiment with different colors to see what you like best.
Candlemakers often add glitter to their candles to give them a sparkle. You can add glitter to any type of candle wax, but it is important to use the right type of glitter. Craft glitter is made from plastic and will melt when exposed to heat. This can cause your candle to smoke and give off an unpleasant smell. If you want to add glitter to your candles, use cosmetic grade glitter that is made from polyester or other heat-resistant materials.
Yes, you can use acrylic paint to dye candle wax. However, the color of the wax will be light and not very intense.
Eyesshadow can actually be used to color candles. All you need to do is melt the eyeshadow down and then mix it with some melted wax. This will create a colored wax that can be used to color your candles.

I purchased this item to use in the production of a batch of candles for my company, and I wanted to share my experience. I was hesitant to purchase a product with no reviews, but I decided to take the chance and I'm so pleased I did. This is a terrific product right out of the box, and I'm a pretty visual person. It comes with a small handbook that is lacking in information, but this company also created an app that I have downloaded and it looks to be really helpful. I also appreciate that it is free. So far, the dye chips have provided me with some incredibly brilliant hues. However, you must be careful not to use too much. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the purchase. I'll be returning for more of this.

These hues were delivered separately, as seen. The minimum and maximum temperatures for when they should be put to the melted wax are noted in the directions; I poured mine in at about 160 degrees Fahrenheit. If you take a look at the candles I created, the large container of wax on the left was 2 pounds. The Yellow color appears a little washed out because more wax was used to dilute it, contrary to the instructions, which state that only one packet of color should be added to 1.5 lbs of wax for the best color impact. The three aquamarine-colored jars on the right are mine. I made three of those in total, using little under one pound of wax. Since the wax melted so rapidly, I believe my candles turned out fantastic. Normally I don't color my candles, but this was a simple process, so I'd probably do it again. I can't wait to test the other 16 colors that are included, as seen in the picture. Because of its attractive presentation and simple use, I heartily suggest this candle dye.

To say the least, the colours were supplied on schedule. They are amazing. I previously tried some other colours that didn't give me the colours I desired, so I thought I would try these to see if they would be any different. But, surprise! They are much better than I had anticipated. Just a few chips provided the colours I wanted because the colours melt so easily. I really like these colours, however if you want very vivid colours, just add additional chips to get the desired hues. I will undoubtedly purchase new hues.

Don't be misled by the small bags, which give the impression that you receive little. The colors melt easily and are vibrant. Since I'm new to creating candles, I value how simple these are to use. The color chart that comes with these wax dyes is a complete muddle, therefore I deducted a star. The compositions fail to yield the anticipated hues. However, it's also possible that's because you didn't get the colors from the chart. I only obtained a few of the colors required to follow the chart exactly, and I have no idea how to get the rest. The e-books you receive, nevertheless, are excellent! The candle e-book is quite thorough and answers almost all of the questions one would have at roughly 117 pages. The information is organized into chapters that are simple to find. I've previously made multiple references to this useful site.I advise everyone to get these wax melts. Awesome stuff!

I used the blue and brown for the first time today once they arrived. I haven't yet seen the final color of my candles because they are cooling, but I don't care; what matters is that there are three or four drops of color per 8 ounces of wax instead of having to melt the wax with the annoying color chip inside. I won't ever use wax chips once more.
