I twice bought this item. The first was my first experience working with clay and was created in response to a professor's flexible design assignment. This magic clay is AMAZING! My boys have a variety of food sensitivities, therefore we are delighted that using this magic clay has not caused any problems. It's free of gluten, which is significant given that the product in its direct competition from Crayola contains wheat. Additionally, we are allergic to peanuts, some tree nuts, dairy, eggs, and soy. No problems at all with the clay, to reiterate. It is silky and incredibly light. Even the touch of it provides a cool sensation, making it enjoyable to simply play with. My only gripe is that it sometimes doesn't stick together well, so you have to glue on any missing body parts or attach them using toothpicks that have been sliced in half. Also, watch where you put them to dry because we've had instances were they've stuck to our windowsill and left behind some residue. It was only my 4-year-pieces, old's of course, because he slightly pressed them against that sill. Just so you're aware, set lightly on a surface and allow to air dry for a while. I'd like to see them add more white and black, among other things. There is only one each of white, black, and gray in the package. White cannot be purchased separately since it is used so frequently that it is the first to wear out. Although this particular clay is more expensive, I am confident that it is safe for my boys' food allergies and we have thus far seen wonderful outcomes, so it has been worth it. Without a doubt, we would repurchase it and suggest it to others.

This slime kit is AMAZING. It arrived quite neatly packaged in a vibrant, strong box that we were able to use again. The afternoon this arrived, all 5 of my kids were occupied, and I only let them make one package of slime so they could make more the next day. The clay itself was okay, but DO NOT use it if you intend to use it to make a latex mould. It twice destroyed my original sculpture. The first time, I simply brushed on latex instead of using any sealer, and everything was damaged. My sculpture was wrecked the second time I sprayed acrylic sealer all over it and then brushed on latex. The creation of latex moulds cannot be done with this clay. The latex will get crinkly dry and lift off the sculpture if there is even a little crack that wasn't sealed with sealer. I continue to use inexpensive water clay.

In order to make a wreath craft for the holidays and St. Lucia, I got this for second graders. This served 28 children well. Once kids warmed it up a bit with their hands, it functioned beautifully, had a great color, and had no scent. Some of the green color made its way to my hands. After being left out for three days, clay has not at all hardened.

used this as the positive mold for rubber casts (have not gotten to that yet). Although it wasn't intended for this, I've used it to hold components to circuit boards, and it worked great to keep it in place while I soldered a few points. If you leave it there the entire time, it will melt.It worked when I used it as a resin cavity cast. However, the resin didn't firm up properly, which isn't a terrible thing because the product wasn't made for it; I was simply experimenting for fun. Undoubtedly a wise purchase.

This tool came in handy when I wanted a simple way to make large fondant ropes! The first attempts at this cake, which was supposed to be delivered the next day, were made at one in the morning. It got the job done, but I suppose with additional time and effort you might get really even results. It was really simple to clean between colours as fondant essentially melts in water.

My machine has been in use for approximately 3 or 4 months, and it has performed flawlessly. Before buying, I was quite concerned about all the bad reviews, but I didn't have the money for a more expensive machine like an Atlas. Maybe the machine was modified, or maybe I was just lucky. I appreciate how much longer it is than other typical pasta machines. And my clay doesn't get any black streaks from the rollers. Prior to putting my clay through the rollers, I also flatten it as much as I can. I've heard that this increases the machine life for your clay. I would also advise doing it. As time goes on, I'll update my evaluation. For the time being, I would unquestionably suggest this machine to those with tight budgets who wish to preserve their extra cash for buying clay, like myself.

Nice product that rolls out at various settings and conditions clay well. Making ensuring the clay is at least semi-soft is one thing to keep in mind. Harder clays will cause the machine to bend, and your rolled-out clay will have "ripples"—especially if you use the thicker settings. As far as I can tell, the problem persists once it occurs. I primarily use it to make flattened pieces rather than to condition clay. If you have to condition clay before putting it through the conditioner, the functionality is a little odd.
