It's my second set (I lost my others). The best shoe covers available right now. They are created in the USA, with a thick fabric that totally absorbs liquids, and extremely sticky rubber soles that prevent any slipping. They are so much better than the ones that all shoe manufacturers provide you when you buy a new pair of shoes. It's really not a big deal the way it is, but if I had to complain, I'd ask that the elastic around the opening be made just a little bit looser so they are a little bit simpler to slip on (and may be preferable to some). Although I haven't used the sliding sock yet, I can tell from the way it is made that it will completely cover the toe and extend all the way back to the beginning of the heal. This is a huge plus because my pro shop slide sock, which only covers the tow on my right shoe and is a size 12 men's, still doesn't allow me to slide very well on the lanes at the Air Force Base. I tried to add a third sliding sock from DV8 but Amazon shipped the shoe cover booties both times I ordered it in the last week. If the thicker or wider band makes this a snug fit, I'm eager to update this review with positive outcomes.

I got these to wear over my muddy or filthy farm sneakers that I usually wear. These were excellent! Although they are a little difficult to put on, they were useful. The only problem I noticed was that there was some wetness on the inside of the cover when I pulled them off. I didn't walk through any puddles, and it didn't rain, so I'm not sure if that was just condensation or perspiration. These covers are something I'd advise.

I've lately started dancing latin, ballroom, and line. Sliding and spinning are necessary for these dances. I found some inexpensive dance shoes that are extremely functional. You can't wear them to the dance, which is one drawback. I therefore bring them along and change at the dance. I saw bowlers last week wearing socks over their shoes to help them slide more easily. Just acquired these, used once. They are really simple to put on and true to fit. They protected my socks and shoes from the heavy rain that fell today. I simply walked from my house to my car and then into work. Much superior to boots or rain boots that are uncomfortable to wear all day.
