The reason for the low rating of four stars is that 1) I wish it came with eight rings rather than six, and 2) the wood version, which costs twice as much, is superior in ways that I didn't expect (more sturdy and better game play).This is a good backyard game for the money, in my opinion. I wasn't aware at first that the containers are constructed of a less rigid vinyl substance. A few weeks later, I made the decision to purchase the wood version (which cost approximately $45, also on Amazon), and I like it better. The good part about this one is how portable and light weight it is. It would be simple to pack it in a beach bag or put it in your car's trunk.

This game is sturdy and nicely crafted, and I would have loved to retain it. The issue we had was that both containers arrived one within the other and could not be separated because they were strongly suctioned together. I wrote to inquire whether there was a trick, and they promised to reply, but I never did, so I sent the letter back. With follow-up emails from the seller, we received this game set in the anticipated time frame. Hope this will withstand and hold up to the rings dropping in it without shifting during an actual game as I have only seen this game with wooden boxes as the targets. I should have read the description's section on materials. I gave it a try, and it appears to function as it should. We'll see how the Velcro holds up over time. If so, the composition will be simple to store because it can be folded.
