AmazonBasics Foldable Metal Platform Bed Frame for Under-Bed Storage - Tools-free Assembly, No Box Spring Needed - Twin Review:

Because they provide excellent value, simple mobility, and STORAGE SPACE, this kind of bed frame rapidly became a favorite! What I Enjoy: simple to assemble The two frames join together with a very simple connector, and the legs lock open. None are required.— Robust. — Simple to store To make it simple to move storage boxes in and out of the bed, the diagonal struts on the legs are angled toward the head and foot ends of the bed. Standard plastic storage containers like the 12.25" high, 58 Qt. storage box from Sterilite fit neatly underneath. With ease, eight of those boxes will slip in and out from under this frame.— set-in legs. Less likelihood of stubbing a toe because to the legs' recessed placement a few inches from the frame's edge. My last one had legs that were flush with the frame's outer borders, and I was constantly bumping into one of them. If a bedskirt is used, the flush legs are visible but the inset legs are not. Quickly disassembles and folds up for relocating or cleaning a room so you may paint, refinish the floor, or clean the carpet. Apartment dwellers and other tenants who move around a lot would love this bed frame. quite portable. a lot simpler and smaller than a box spring. The one thing I didn't love, and what I did about it: This frame doesn't have any wheels or casters. To make it easy to move for cleaning and other purposes, I purchased a set of those round furniture moving dots and placed them under the legs.

Zinus Shawn 14 Inch SmartBase Mattress Foundation in Narrow Twin / Cot size / 30” x 75” / Platform Bed Frame / Box Spring Replacement Review:

Disclaimer: I am an apartment dweller; if you are one, you have come to the proper review!Let me start by noting that for the first three weeks after moving into our new apartment, my significant other and I had our mattress on the floor. This meant that our brand-new sheets, duvet, and a few throw pillows frequently sat on the floor where they gathered dust, filth, cat hair, and other messes that come with daily life. Whether it was stepped on or slipped on, it probably happened. You understand how frustrating it may be if you're in this situation.I vowed to do this well, build a box spring, purchase a decent bedframe with a headboard, etc. That was 2.5 weeks after I had assured myself it would be worthwhile, looked in neighborhood stores for pre-built box springs, and discovered they cost at least $100 before delivery and taxes.Well, I suppose you can guess how that went considering I'm here. The notion just diminished to a hazy murmur due to work, trying to make the apartment seem like home, regular cleaning, trying to maintain a social life, and not really having your own front yard to accomplish the entire building thing. Around this time, I also became aware that the closets were a little messy, but I simply reminded myself that "this was apartment life."I went to Amazon one evening to check whether they had any box springs for sale. I browsed over some evaluations of this platform bedframe with complete trepidation. It seemed to have a lot of potential, but other reviews mentioned damaged pieces and how uncomfortable it was. I made the choice to buy the platform bedframe on Amazon by taking a chance. After 3 days, it arrived, was shipped to my place, and was abruptly dropped off on the front door with a loud "thud." The parcel was hefty, and I imagine the delivery man was annoyed since he had to stop at my house so often to pick up other large packages. I hoped there had been no harm, and I said, "Great." The packaging was also rather damaged.I unlocked it, put it together (finger tightening wing nuts took about 5 minutes), and then I placed the mattress on top of it. Fortunately, it appeared to have survived the arduous travel from the warehouse to my home. I observed two things right away:1.) By doing this, the bedroom could feel more like a home.2. There is an absurd amount of storage space under the bed that is simply not permitted in closets. In order to organize the closets, I shoved as many rarely-used objects as I could beneath the bed. In case the S.O. didn't like it and we had to return it back, I even made space for the box to the frame to stay inside. When she got home, she also loved the way the bedroom looked and felt. Needless to say, we looked into the bedframe's noise level and durability. It's motionless and silent! After two nights of sleeping on the bed, I threw the box out, happy with my purchase and prepared to persuade other potential buyers with a lengthy review on why they should also try it. It truly is the ideal bedframe for a small space. You'll be happy you gave it a try!

Olee Sleep 18 Inch Tall Heavy Duty Steel Slat/ Anti-slip Support/ Easy Assembly/ Mattress Foundation/ Maximum Storage/ Noise Free/ No Box Spring Needed, Black Review:

I read 17 pages of questions when researching this on Amazon. I'll try to address the same 10 questions that were asked on all 17 pages so you don't have to spend an hour reading questions and answers. We purchased the king-size model and are using it with a 13" Costco memory foam mattress. I'll update in a month because this is only a day one evaluation.59 pounds when shipped. Measures 42" x 21" x 6" in cardboard box. was shipped in good condition. When placing the order, they were unsure of the delivery date. They mailed it by UPS on Monday after our order was placed on Thursday, and it arrived on Wednesday (a day earlier than the shipping confirmation said).Assembly: The simple to follow pictograph-style instructions are printed on a single page of paper. Despite being in English, you don't really need to read the text. The border of the bed is made up of six lengthy extruded metal pieces, with an additional one running down the center. The three lengthy segments have legs that fold open. The top and bottom are made up of four components that are simply bolted together without any moving parts. The steps are straightforward. Simply arrange all the parts before beginning to attach them. The instructions' sole flaw is that they titled the pieces "A" and "A1" (for the top of the bed) and "B" and "B1" (for the bottom), respectively, but then they said "A1*1" and "A*1" to show there is one of each, so read them carefully. The metal components are not labeled, but if you carefully study the diagram, you'll notice that the A pieces have slots for attaching a headboard while the B pieces do not. My wife and I assembled it in less than 15 minutes, but she is capable of doing it solo. None of the parts are particularly hefty. Lifting the mattress onto the finished structure was by far the most difficult step (a king mattress is heavy).Only two long bolts with nuts and 12 short bolts without nuts make up the hardware. No further tools are needed because they provide you with the Allen wrench and nut wrench you need. Attaching everything was simple. The metal slats are then snapped onto their holders. Red dots on four of the slats match the red dots in the bed's center. The ends of those slots feature tiny tongues that fit into tiny gaps on the slat holders.Slats and lip: Each side of the bed has nine rectangular extruded metal slats. Each slat is 8 inches apart and has a top width of 1/2 inch (from the center of one slat to the center of the next). Slats' tops are half an inch lower than the top of the frame. This has a lip to keep your mattress or box spring in place, and it was a very tight fit for our king-sized memory foam mattress so that it will not move.Mattress/box spring: A box spring is optional but not necessary. With a box spring and mattress, the bed will be extremely tall because the frame is 18 inches high. The top of our 13-inch memory foam mattress is almost 32 inches from the ground without a box spring. If you have a standard mattress, you may simply place it directly on the slats without a box spring. Without a box spring, a memory foam mattress need something in between to prevent the foam from squeezing through the slats. Cardboard is generally the best option, although pegboard, particle board, and thin plywood will all do the trick. The interior dimensions of that lip I described are 75.5" x 79.5", so if you want to install something similar, be aware that you need something slightly smaller than that. After that, split it in half so that you may transfer it in your SUV or truck. We decided against putting anything in between our memory foam and the slats, my wife and I. According to the question and answer responses, around 1/3 of memory foam owners took our approach, while about 2/3 purchased a filler item. As of day one, we anticipate relatively little trouble with the memory foam seeping between the slats, as indicated by about one-third of the group.Nice hardwood floors can be found here. My wife did not trust that, so she purchased small rubber squares to place under the feet because all elements of the frame that contact the floor have built-in plastic caps to protect your floor. The king bed version has 9 feet, so you'll need 9 2" x 2" square rubber pads.Appearance: You can go without a dust ruffle if you don't put anything under the bed. Artistic metal is shown. It is made of black metal and has corners (nothing is rounded). You should conceal the frame if you plan to store items under the bed. A conventional dust ruffle won't fit because the frame is 18 inches tall. A woman responded to one of the questions by stating that she had created fabric panels and used stick-on Velcro to fasten them to the frame. What we intend to do is that.Quality: After being put together, it was quite quiet. I am 275 pounds, and even while I was rolling about on the bed, it did not move or squeak in the slightest. The only squeak I could hear was if I swayed back and forth while crawling on all fours, but that was nothing compared to our old bed. The majority of the reviewers and question-answerers agreed that there is NO squeak, even when heavier persons perform the horizontal mambo.UPDATE: During some activities that cause the bed to shake, there is an EXTREMELY faint squeak. If someone was 40 feet away, I doubt they would hear it. A little let down, but it doesn't affect my rating because practically any bed will creak more loudly than this.

Best Price Mattress Twin Bed Frame - 14" Metal Platform Bed Frame w/Heavy Duty Steel Slat Mattress Foundation (No Box Spring Needed), Twin Size Review:

extremely simple to put together. My boyfriend and I spent around 40 minutes on it. It's a job for two people, but it's not a challenging one. It is undoubtedly strong. Together, my boyfriend and I weigh 420 pounds. That kept us. The squeaking was absent. The bed's bottom has grips, so it doesn't scrape the floor. Even so, I purchased "super sliders" as a backup.I was afraid my mattress would shift. On the bed's bars, double-sided tape has been applied. Since I want to place a bed skirt on top of them and be able to modify them, I didn't use them. No problems so yet.I appreciate that you may remove the horizontal bars. It's not screwed in and doesn't require a screw. It makes storing things simpler. the reason I first purchased this bed.The Container Store Large Like-it Stacking Drawer Smoke 12-1/2" x 20-1/2" x 12" h. is, in my opinion, the ideal box for storage (Shown in the photo)Each bed size can accommodate roughly six people while still providing room for storage in the middle. My modest luggage fit in there just fine.Another point is that although the bed is 14 inches tall, only 12 inches may be used for storage. Remember that.

Zinus Lorelei 14 Inch Platforma Bed Frame / Mattress Foundation / No Box Spring Needed / Steel Slat Support, Twin Review:

This platform bed is truly fantastic. However, I believe there are a few minor issues with this.Benefits: -Leaves plenty of room under the bed for plastic storage bins or to stow away a large amount of dirty laundry.-Sturdy bed; my wife and I are not small people, so we don't have any concerns about it holding up for us, even if we let our inner children out and pretended it was a trampoline.-ample support across the mattress with no sharp edges; whether you have a flip pillow top or a single-sided mattress, I don't think this will affect your mattress in any way over time. I personally use a 15" king-size memory foam mattress.Cons: I would prefer it was just a little bit higher as some XL bins don't fit; -slick top, your mattress can slide around if its not too heavy; -because of the slick top it makes it really difficult to get a bedskirt to stay in place when putting the mattress over it; -multiple supports in the middle, while they are necessary to keep the frame lighter, they make it a little more difficult to organize longer boxes. It functions, but I would like it to be more functional. Assembly is time-consuming, and the tools are subpar. It goes much faster if you use an impact driver with an allen head, but be careful not to strip the screws because they are easily misthreaded or overtorqued.

Zinus Van 16 Inch Metal Platform Bed Frame with Steel Slat Support / Mattress Foundation, Twin Review:

I needed a new bed frame that could support my weight without breaking, retain a foam mattress, and accommodate a foam mattress. I needed something little because my studio unit is so small. I decided to take a chance on this one after reading numerous reviews and contrasting it with other frames on Amazon. The frame was packaged really carefully and came in an easy-to-carry box before its scheduled arrival date. I set out all the components in the order they were listed in the directions and started putting it together. Inside, all the metal was covered, and styrofoam cushioned the edges (did I mention that the styrofoam was wrapped in plastic so there was no mess while unpacking...awesome). It was pretty simple to put together this frame. If I had an additional person, it would have been even simpler, but that was my fault. This frame just required me around 30 minutes to put together. It looks fantastic and is quite lightweight. I have slept on it for roughly three nights in a row with a 10 so far "both my 280 lb. self and a foam mattress. No creaking, and no concern that it would break. The clearance is just under 14 inches "There is still enough of room under the bed to store items if needed, so it's not a major concern. To anyone who needs a frame for their foam mattress and has limited room in their home, I wholeheartedly recommend this one.

Zinus Abel 14 Inch Metal Platform Bed Frame with Steel Slat Support, Mattress Foundation, Twin Review:

I love this frame that I bought. Even though I'm not the most handy person, it took me around 20 minutes to put it together. It has excellent appearance and craftsmanship, and unlike some of the less expensive frames, you do not even need a bed skirt to conceal it. My king-size mattress fits well and doesn't move at all. The fact that this frame contains no noise is another significant factor for me. A frame that produces the screeching noise each time you move or get on and off the bed is a pet hate of mine, but this one does not. The only thing I saw was that it said it was 14 "tall, measured from the floor to the top of the frame. The actual clearance area is 12.5 "If you desired to place storage boxes underneath the bed, you could.

Zinus Dawn 14 Inch Easy To Assemble SmartBase Mattress Foundation / Cot size / 30” x 75” / Platform Bed Frame / Box Spring Replacement, Narrow Twin Review:

I purchased this back in July for my nephew. His mother called me last night and said the frame had broken. The description makes things appear invincible, so I couldn't believe it. My sister explains that when he simply sat on one end to put on his shoes, it broke when I ask her how it happened. I am certain that my nephew, a teenager who weighs about 120 lbs, was not the problem. The beds are insured for five years, according to the ZINUS representative I spoke with, provided that the manufacturing flaw was the cause of the damage. Will watch to see how this case develops. I will be devastated if Zinus does not replace this bed frame. I'll provide an update on my case later.UPDATE!!!! After sending them an email with a copy of the purchase invoice and images of the broken bed frame, ZINUS agreed to replace it. Today the bed frame arrived (12-13-2017). Their guarantee and customer service have earned my utmost satisfaction. I won't hesitate to buy from them again if I ever need a new bed frame. Regards, ZINUS

Amazon Basics 6-Leg Support Metal Bed Frame - Strong Support for Box Spring and Mattress Set - Twin Size Bed Review:

This bedframe is really lovely. I wish I could create one of those reviews that Social Media users share a million times.Amazon has thought of everything for a product that you will never see again once you set it up and put your bed on it.I bought two to replace a fifty year old frame that lacked a flange to attach headboards to for my parents who are moving into allocated living. I was concerned when the box arrived because it was so little and light. Something wrong with my Amazon Basics purchase? Never. Even the packaging shows how well thought out this product is. Take it out of the packaging, cut the tie straps, and then simply unfold. Two black anodized, tubular steel bed rails magically materialize. You are finished once you remove the three cross parts from their plastic sleeves and arrange them. No problems, no blood blisters, no cuts, no pinched fingers. I mentioned there were no tools needed. You dislike reading small print. That won't be necessary. With a drink in the other hand, any typical college student moving into a dorm can figure it out. The only puzzle is how Amazon manages to sell this for so little. At double the cost, a deal. You won't be sorry you bought it.

Zinus Michelle Compack 9-Leg Support Bed Frame, for Box Spring and Mattress Set, Queen Review:

Therefore, we spent months looking for the ideal mattress, waited patiently for the best deals on the mattresses we wanted to try, and spent hours at various places lying on different mattresses in the hopes that we wouldn't catch anything along the road... We made a purchase and got a mattress! We are thrilled when it is delivered the following day and can't wait to unwind in our freshly punched bed for the evening. We jump in, only to be greatly dismayed to see that we are still sloping into the centre of the bed on top of one another. How come? To go with our new mattress, we purchased a new box spring. We ought to be dozing off on clouds like little infants. Wrong. The cross bars of our frame have a slight bent in the centre from being passed down over several generations. Thus, the search for a structure to transform our new mattress from unsatisfactory to wonderful, begins. After some investigation, I choose the frame I'll be discussing here. I thought the pricing was reasonable, and the reviews were generally positive. It's significant to note that I desired a serene backdrop for... Adult-oriented pursuitsMy hopes were exceeded by this frame. Setup just took 30 minutes from beginning to end. The directions were simple and easy to follow. The graphics were quite beneficial to me because I learn best visually. Because of how light the components were at first, I was a little wary, but I'm happy with how sturdy it is now. It comes folded neatly, which is perfect for our upcoming relocation. There are three primary components, in addition to simple-to-use washers and an Alan wrench. The bed was completely level (yes, I checked with a level), after it was put together and the box spring and mattress were on. The best thing is how supportive the frame is. There is no longer any sloping or center hole! My husband and I are able to sleep peacefully both alone and together without feeling precariously perched.Last but not least, it is undoubtedly quiet ;). even when the headboard is fastened.
