I never spent this much on a cover for myself; this is a gift for my kid. As a result, I want to get one for myself! Though less pricey than those I was looking at at nearby shops. To my dismay, I had bought a rather fragile cover for the bigger board I had bought for her, so I wanted another one. 18x 49 was required and was difficult to find locally. Although I was dubious at first because this cover claimed to suit all sizes, it did! put together from good, thick material that is heavily cushioned. The bungee corded fitting, however, is the most inventive component! Even with an enlarged board, there is enough material to overlap the sides. It was a perfect fit and quick to install thanks to the pull cord fastener. Doesn't require Velcro fasteners underneath, despite what I initially believed after visiting several websites. I'm really happy with this purchase. One thing to keep in mind: I steam iron everything using a burst of steam type iron, and the first flimsy cover I bought enabled the steam to pass through the board, literally wetting my floor! I noticed numerous reviews while searching. This has never occurred on my board in my 40 years of service, I swear. I'm not sure if it is the newer boards rather than the covers that do this given others had noted on this being a problem, but this pad did allow moisture in the underside of this new board, albeit minimally. In any case, this is a fantastic product at a reasonable cost. I enjoy ironing when all of my equipment is in working order, which made it easier to iron a fresh pair of cotton sheets that looked like they had just been dried. Really impressed, I must say! And I'm off to order one for myself, very thrilled!

I was relieved to locate this bundle because it allowed me to maintain my original ironing board cover even though the board and stand were in good condition. Strong, thick elastic is used to close this cover. In comparison to other covers I've seen that were quite loose fitting, it draws the cover tight and was much nicer.You definitely do not need an additional pad with this because the padding is actually fairly substantial. The blue and green pattern is really fantastic and incredibly attractive.I didn't actually need to add the rivets because the elastic edge holds it fastened so effectively. Since they were so simple to put on, I used them since it helps to keep the piece in place when I change the board.I especially adore the included mesh cloth! These mesh covers are awesome; I've never seen anything like them. I won't have to move the ironing board around when I iron because the mesh cover will cover the majority of it.This is a fantastic product all around. I searched all of my neighborhood craft, sewing, and department stores, but Amazon was the only one that sold these reflective covers. It makes a significant impact, especially when ironing items that are susceptible to scorching or damage from high heat. Even on heavily wrinkled, heavy linen, I only needed to make a single pass over each area to complete the task and I didn't need to use any sprays, starches, etc. to remove wrinkles or set creases. I was also able to decrease the temperature down a little. The pad was simple to install on my ironing board because it just went over the existing cover and was fastened with velcro and ties on the underside. I haven't seen any of the coating peeling off or leaving any shine on my cloth, in contrast to another reviewer. It is true that some fabrics should be ironed inside out or with a pressing cloth on top if you don't want the finished product to look shiny. However, this is a problem that may occur on any ironing surface, not just ones made of this pad. To ensure that this is the proper size for you, please sure to measure your board. It is compatible with a typical size (cheaper, lighter) board that you can buy at most retailers like Walmart, Target, etc. Your board won't fit if it has heavier, larger legs or if the top is longer or wider than usual.

This cover for my ironing board is quite good. Since my ironing board is not on display, I don't usually worry about its appearance, but the design is extremely appealing. I didn't anticipate the cover to be as thick as it is. It was quite simple to install and precisely matched my board. It does appear like it will endure because it seems to be of decent quality, even though I haven't had it long enough to know how it will hold up. I doubt a more expensive cover could be more attractive.

Compared to most covers on the market, this one offers greater padding. I'm impressed by the padding and fit! Since I've owned a number of ironing covers over the years, this one offers maybe the best padding. However, if the cotton were of a higher grade, the print may be more clearly defined. That being said, there is nothing wrong with this, and I really like it. I purchased the lovely yellow print with nice hues. Because it provides more padding and a nicer surface, I typically just add a new cover over the one the board comes with. This was ideal because I needed to add a second board to be used as a support for quilting. accommodates my typical 15" x 54" board.

It meets my needs reasonably well. Because the feet are made of hard rubber rather than soft rubber, they will move around on a smooth floor like tile or wood. I discovered that adding pressure to one of the foot will increase stability while ironing. Undoubtedly, the pad needs to be thicker. It worked well since I was able to move a pad from my previous ironing board that broke onto this one. However, the tiny pad and slick feet are what prevent these from receiving a full five stars.
