No, front side marker lights are not required. However, they may be required by your state or local laws. Check with your local DMV to be sure.
There is no definitive answer to this question as there are no specific laws in most jurisdictions mandating the use of amber clearance lights. However, many experts believe that using amber clearance lights is a best practice as they are more visible to other drivers, especially in low-light conditions. Ultimately, the decision of whether or not to use amber clearance lights is up to the individual.
Front clearance lights are used to indicate the presence of a vehicle to other drivers on the road. They are typically mounted on the front bumper or grille of a car, and emit a bright, visible light that can be seen from a distance. Front clearance lights are required by law in many states, and are an important safety feature for any car.

CONVENIENT - No need to buy reflective tape AND side marker lights for your truck or trailer. Our lights combine the features of a side marker light and a reflex reflector so your vehicle can easily meet the requirements of DOT FMVSS-108.
BETTER THAN THE REST - Our lights are sonically sealed and IP67 rated which means, unlike other lights, these side marker lights are just as comfortable on your boat trailer as they are on your work trailer.
YOUR COVERED - Available in amber and red with new grommets included, these lights are an excellent choice for the front, back, and sides of your vehicle.
CONSPICUOUS - Some other side marker light companies employ only one or two LEDs in their lights, but our side markers pack in 13 individual LEDs to maximize visibility and safety.
ATTENTION TO DETAIL- TOP markings allow you to quickly and properly orient your lights for optimal function of the reflectorized lens. Plus, a 90 degree plug makes it easier to install this light in tight spaces.

swift delivery. I received these in under a week. Good packaging and boxing. Unfortunately, my trailer only needed 2", not 2.5". But that was my fault. I ought to have removed a lamp and taken a measurement. But don't worry. It's always a good idea to have some of these available. They might be necessary for one of my trailers later. came with pigtails and grommets as well. decent value. Would purchase this package at a truckstop for more than twice the cost.

WATERPROOF, SUBMERSION READY - The waterproof IP67 rated LED side markers are fully capable of being submersible. This makes the clearance light ideal for boat trailers that launch and pick up watercraft into the water.
EASY INSTALLATION - The OLS red and amber clearance lights come with a rubber grommet so you never have to mess around with screws. Simply use a preexisting hole, or create a new cut out for the grommet, and use the industry standard two prong plug to light up the night.
STUNNING 180° VISIBILITY - Each 2" round LED clearance light comes with a protruded light for increased visibility. When you place the clearance light on the side or the back of your tractor or trailer, the clearance light provides 180° of visibility, alerting other drivers to your presence. The specially designed clearance lights are designed using textured edges that help disperse light at a wider angle in comparison to lights that are flush with their grommet.
2 IN 1 FUNCTIONALITY - Driving a tractor, trailer, truck, or any other large vehicle mandates that you drive with side marker lights and reflectors depending on the size of your vehicle. Each LED clearance light comes with 10 high powered LEDs, allowing it to serve as both a reflector and clearance light that federal law requires for larger trailers. This LED clearance light is also D.O.T. FMVSS-108 compliant.
ULTRA REFLECTIVE POLYCARBONATE LENS - The 2" round LED side markers use a specially designed polycarbonate lens to reflect back direct light, allowing your tractor or trailer to be more visible at night and providing a safer driving experience for you and other drivers on the road. The round LED side markers also come with a “TOP” orientation, designed to allow you to uniformly install multiple units, while maximizing the amount of reflectiveness from each lens.

These lamps shine brightly. They are an appealing addition and are easily placed. It was necessary to purchase a 2 5/8 hole saw to drill the holes because these were going to be installed in a utility trailer. To avoid oxidation and poor contact, grease is included with the light wire terminals. Observe the details! the same. The light pucks are expertly constructed and sealed. Not thin.I bought the 8-pack. four red and four amber.

We have a 2018 Heartland Road Warrior, and it appears like one of the marker light covers came off during towing. the person pictured. The light itself was unharmed or damaged (it is an LED and was good). Therefore, I only needed a new cover and not the full light. This one was discovered and ordered because it appeared to be the best choice. It actually matches the OEM covers perfectly and is PERFECT MATCH. Instantly snapped on, and everything was fixed. Exactly 2 seconds were required to fix it. I purchased two just in case we ever need to replace any more.Couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. The price was reasonable and it was exactly what I needed.

To replace the five each on our just acquired 2009 Class C, I recently purchased a set of seven red and seven amber lights. I've made far more complex tweaks, so I wasn't worried about changing these for the installation. The mod procedure is depicted in one of the images I've shared. The item in #1 is shown in its unmodified state with the lens cover removed (the LEDs, incidentally, light up orange).#2 has a 1/4" hole for the mounting pegs for the circuit board drilled just below and between the two dimples. As I pushed and dragged the wires into the device and passed them under the circuit board out of the new hole, #3 is staring at the front. After both cables have been rerouted, #4 is the backside. The final item, number 5, is prepared for installation.I took out the previous units and scraped and buff the fiberglass to remove the stains and other things in the ring around the base because they aren't precisely the same shape. Since the screw hole spacing is the same, I did need to offset these since several of the screws in the prior units fell apart as I tried to remove them. I mounted the new lights after drilling 1/8" holes for the new screws (I had to ream them a little because the cheap screws will break if you had aluminum behind the fiberglass as I do).As is the case with many LED goods, I utilized one of the inline crimp connections on both wires coming out of the lights as a tester to determine the polarity of the two black wires from the RV in each of the five holes. Then, as I installed each light, I tested each set of the five RV lights by bending the positive and negative sides to the left and right, respectively. I used silicone to seal the mounting area around the 1" diameter hole the grommets on the old unit's back utilized, the screw holes, the new cable hole, and other areas.Murphy came on the scene just as I was about to install the final unit; see second image. All of the lights, two on each side, were only illuminating 4 of the 10 LEDs, I noticed. One of those "WTF" moments for sure. So I installed the replacement unit, and all five started acting the same. Recognize that before installing, I had tested the units on my workbench with a 12 volt battery to ensure their functionality. After considering the issue in my 70 year old head, I reasoned that perhaps the vehicle battery was low if lights and other equipment had been running for a few days (on and off). Exactly as expected, the truck wouldn't start! As a result, add a "Low Battery" check to these lights' peculiarities and features. We'll have to wait and see how these fare against dirt, rain, and sunlight. Later, if there are any issues, I'll revise this review. At least I have two spares for either end of the RV, I observe.

Clearance/Side Marker Light; For 59 Series; Red; w/Reflex; w/White Base;
$234
A 2004 Winnebago 34H motorcoach that we bought is currently being updated and renovated. It looked fantastic after we ran it through a truck wash, but the truck in front of us observed that two of the red lenses had come off while being sprayed in the wash. The lenses could not be replaced because there was almost no retention force. These exact replacements were obtained, and I discovered that they securely attached to the hold bodies. The original lenses, however, were too narrow to fit the larger LED bulbs when we replaced the incandescent lamps with LEDs. Where the bulb holder twist-locks into place, two of the bodies developed cracks. The new bodies were attached by taking out and replacing two screws. The LED lights can be used with the new lenses. We now have clearing lights that are more attractive and brighter. What should be done about the remaining fifteen to sixteen marker lights?

So let me start by saying that I initially had smoked, amber Xprite new generation style cab lights fitted. On two of our f250 work vehicles, I put them in. Within two months, one of each of the two lights on both trucks had severe moisture damage. When I contacted xprite, they assured me that both will be replaced. I discovered after receiving them that the ones they delivered were a very mild smoke while the ones already installed were dark. I finally gave in to my annoyance and purchased this set. It was just installed yesterday, and I am thrilled with how much nicer it looks. They are 100% OEM-like (as opposed to xprite, which were much larger), and I appreciate that the lens can be taken off. I give this a solid five stars! (When I get time, I'll snap a photo and publish)

These lights were of higher quality than the original ones. 3/5 of the lenses had to be replaced since water had seeped into my taxi. In comparison to stock, the electronics were of higher grade and were properly encapsulated. Installation was also plug-and-play. If it still doesn't light up, turn the plug-in back end 180 degrees to determine the proper polarity. Screws should not be overtightened. Advice - To stop any further leaks, I placed flex seal tape on the roof and underneath, and I passed the cables through a "X" I carved out with an exacto knife. Additionally, the clips on the inside where the screws entered the roof were siliconed, as were the base and screw holes from the outside. I used a small amount of dielectric lubricant before plugging in to prevent further corrosion and to maintain proper connectivity. The headlining and posts' removal was the biggest pain. Patience is key in this situation. The same is true for taking the extra minor steps, like silicone. With the silicone and the high-quality screws used, this product ought to last forever. It looks amazing and is highly directional and bright. A side note: It is a mess if you decide to trim the flex seal tape after it has been placed and peel off any extra! My acquaintance is now aware of the discomfort that waxing causes us women. Yes, the top is a little hairy, but I don't care; you can't see, and most importantly, it NO LONGER LEAKS! Excellent design, superior to stock, simple to use, and well worth the cost. For anyone curious, the screws are installed N-S instead of E-W.
ICC lights are a type of LED light that is used in a variety of settings. ICC lights are known for their bright, white light and their ability to last for a long time. These lights are often used in commercial settings, such as in office buildings or warehouses.

The three center lights on top of the tractor are called the cab lights. These lights are used to illuminate the cab interior and provide a clear view for the operator while driving at night.
The lights on top of a jeep are called roof lights. They are used to provide extra light when driving at night or in low-light conditions. Roof lights can be either LED or halogen. LED roof lights are more expensive but provide more light and last longer than halogen bulbs. Halogen bulbs are less expensive but do not last as long as LED bulbs.
The orange lights on a car are called turn signals. They are used to signal to other drivers when you are going to turn.
