Gasket - Vanos/Camshaft Cover on Cylinder Head 11361433817 and Vanos Unit Piston Housing Seals When you disassemble the vanos unit to replace the piston seals there is a metal seal between the housing and the covers that bolt to the housing. I had these seals manufactured specifically for the, no one else has these seals. I felt that if someone was going to all the trouble to replace the seals it makes sense to properly re-seal the housing.

I just bought a 2004 325i with only 65K miles. Finding a car with such little mileage that has only had one owner for sale made me thrilled. Although the car made me very happy, I thought it lacked power. Online, I learned that 3.0 engines with more horsepower are the way to go and that the 325i is underpowered. I tried to increase power and torque by performing a complete tune-up on the automobile, but I was unable. I saw a blog post that claimed these seals had been known to fail after 20k miles. I read the signs of failing seals, but aside from the lack of power, I experienced none of them. There is no trembling, uncertainty, or abrupt start. I wasn't sure that these seals would help my automobile. After exhausting all other options, I reasoned that there was nothing to lose by replacing these seals. They showed up fairly quickly. The removal of the fan was by far the most difficult step in the operation. Using a 32mm wrench that I paid $25 for at Sears, I was able to get rid of it. I didn't utilize the holder for the fan clutch. It wasn't too difficult to take out and replace the seals. Reinstalling them was equally simple. It took me close to 4 hours to complete, but if I had to do it again, I anticipate needing less time than that.Removing the fan is simple; all you need is a 32mm wrench and a few left-to-right hammer blows. Avoid contacting any of the hoses. When removing the bolts with the left hand thread, oil will spill from the pistons, so be prepared.Use a magnetic tool to remove the bolts and washers holding the valve cover in place to prevent losing washers or nuts.Very Significant. Take note of where and how the cables leading to the two vanos solenoids are connected. It took me a really long time to attempt to figure out the routing first, then I had to unplug items to be able to pass the connections because I made the error of trying to join them after installing everything. As a result, I'm quite delighted to say that my car has completely changed; I can actually feel it pushing when I take off. The additional torque was really noticeable. Regardless of whether they feel the need for this or not, I will recommend everyone with sufficient mechanic skills to do this.

Exact OE replacement seal for my 2011 Cruze Eco 1.4 Turbo's intake and exhaust camshaft actuators. I fixed the actuator edge oil leak that I had. The replacement of both seals requires a total of around 30 minutes. A flat head screwdriver, an E10 socket, and a simple ratchet set are all that are required. The cruze's bolts must be torqued to a maximum of 71 In-Lb.

I'm pleased this kit included twice as many as you need because, after putting everything back together, I managed to shred one ring. It worked the second time. A marauder I owned that was under a year old and lost all of its pressure throughout the winter. For a time, it was holding 2500 psi, but one day I found it was on 0. After I disassembled everything, the problem region was clearly visible. One of the original rings had a significant buildup of crud, which I suppose was caused by dampness. The gun's rear seal failed because it was stored with the business end pointing up (where water would pool). She was like new again after I put her back together. Although the tear down was a little frightening, you can find some helpful videos on YouTube that will help you do it successfully.

Amazing offer! These replacement o-ring sets are not colour coded like some other sets, but they work and there are plenty available. These were excellent at stopping the air leak caused by the old, worn-out o-rings in my Tippmann A5.

My 1999 Accord 2.3L has good fitment. The product seems to be of high quality.Purchase a sturdy set of punches to remove the pin from the shaft's end.Where the old seal was on my Hitatchi distributor shaft, a groove had been created by wear. If the shaft is worn out or if it will seal well, only time will tell. Not a seal set issue; simply 244K miles of wear.
