Review/Summary: It is relatively quiet, with the fan being the loudest sound it makes. Much quieter than a standard box fan running at low speed. The internal light is a lovely touch, and I believe the off switch is a magnet/reed. When the lid is about 130 degrees from being closed, the chain cable stops it. Interior walls quickly become cold. I tested it with a full case of water bottles and was pleasantly surprised at how little electricity it used. It keeps cool while opening the door because it is a top loading (king chest style) mattress.The ECO mode's exact functions are unknown to me. I have a suspicion that the heater/defrosting component in ECO mode is disabled (see DC observations). These double tension bars are fantastic. They are in my walk-in closet on built-in bookcase-style shelving. I use them for shoes because they are so tall. This allows me to fill each cube with three rows, each with three to four pairs of flats. I can also fit two or three rows of high heels within a cube. Without having to construct shelves to fit inside the cubes, I was looking for a way to use the cubes more effectively. Using it to suspend my smaller purses above the bigger ones in the cube also works wonderfully. The tension bars can be slightly angled downward so you can see what is on them. Love them endlessly. They have been standing there for months without falling.

For summertime gatherings with the family, I have a sizable cooler at home. However, there isn't much room left for food and drink when I put the ice on the bottom. It wouldn't taste good without the ice. This one features a cooling feature and a cigarette plug for a car. I've been tested using a 2-liter bottle of room temperature coke. The Coca-Cola is chilly and has a water frog on the surface after 35 minutes. It is the ideal amount of time to travel to a state park or beach. Since I tried using ice cream, the temperature is lower at 47 F. Not frozen, but ideal for chilling down food! I have not used the warm mode; perhaps I will after the winter.Size is advantageous because it allows for more food and doesn't require ice to cool down. As you can see at the beginning of my movie, sealing is good, however it was difficult for me to open. I'm using an electrical cooler for the first time, and I find the experience to be really enjoyable.Highly suggested.

We like to bring our own drinks and sodas when we travel and do so frequently. In the past, we would just put drinks and "blue ice" in an ice chest. The term "blue ice" refers to those reusable blue "ice" packets that may be used to cool items without leaving water pools all over the place. Anyhow, that strategy works for shorter road trips than four hours. You're lucky to obtain a cool-ish soda if you get anything more than that. Unless you want to pack every single piece of blue ice you own—we've done it and it's a terrible pain—you shouldn't try this.Here comes the Wagan 24L 12V Cooler/Warmer. This fits well behind the seats and center console of our 2017 Toyota Rav4. If you choose, the cord has more than enough length to extend from the rear of the RAV to the front. It is located behind the center console so that it may be reached while driving. At that angle, the driver might have some trouble getting into the vehicle, but since I usually ride shotgun, that's not a problem. I can easily access it when sitting in the passenger seat. In order to protect the cord when I move the passenger seat forward or back, the cord travels through a paper towel tube between the console and the seat. On the tiny tray directly in front of the outlet, the 12V plug-in fits perfectly.We have traveled for at least ten hours, if not more, and we adore this thing! It will still be cold even if you are down to your last soda or water bottle. The ones on top and the ones on bottom are both equally chilly. All you have to do to turn on the green light is start the car, plug it in, and select the "Cool" setting on the switch. There will also be a faint fan sound. I really mean slight. This gadget only makes a comforting hum, even in a silent car. No whirring, whining, or annoying sounds. It goes without saying that packing it full of cold objects will help it keep things cold, but that only makes sense. We immediately load everything into the cooler from the refrigerator. No, please, no blue ice.You should turn off the device when you turn off the car for two reasons, according to the instructions. First, it can consume your battery, leaving you stuck. Duh. #2: If you leave it plugged in and on, the next time you start your car, a surge of power might likely harm the device. Duh again. When we stop, we simply unplug the device; when we restart the RAV, we simply plug it back in. We simply leave it on Cool rather than turning it off. We occasionally hesitate to buy ice cream or practically anything frozen because the closest grocery shop is more than 15 miles away. No ice cream, unless it was our penultimate and final stop before returning home. Now not at all! We only need to plug up our unit for last-minute ice cream attacks so that it can keep the ice cream properly frozen for the drive home. even if before returning home, we need to make more stops. It kept egg rolls frozen solid from Oceanside, California, all the way to the Oregon border, according to the best assessment I can provide at this time. Even though there were numerous stops and beverages on top, STILL!! A journey of more than 12 hours.I must give this five stars overall. I have not found any issues with this unit. Why didn't I purchase one earlier?

For my dad, who has a daily two-hour trip to work, I bought this cooler. I used to solely pack him with frozen meals and ice packs, but it was starting to hurt.Then, by coincidence, I came across this whilst browsing Amazon one day. I noticed that the food stays cold if you plug this into your car charger. It arrived in two days after I purchased the blue version of this. I opened the attractively presented item. I searched in vain for the plug before realizing it was carefully concealed in the twist cap on top. One day, I left it plugged in to observe how it functions. Really, it did keep my food cold. I was overjoyed. I use this new cooler every day. I appreciate the size because it allows me to fit a large drink along with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In my Toyota Sienna, I can slot it between the front seats, or you can put it behind the back seats so that the plug extends to the front. I haven't used the warmer yet, but I'm keeping an eye out for an occasion—possibly a picnic—when it would be handy. For commuting, road trips, or any other travel where you want your food to stay cold, I heartily suggest this product.

I'll be damned if it doesn't function after using it on multiple camping excursions this summer! The refrigerator does appear to cool down more quickly than previously and to keep a consistent temperature much better. The small fan that blows a tiny wind inside the refrigerator is powered by two D-sized batteries. Two D batteries should last for a month, which for us is a full camping season. To turn it off in between uses, there is a tiny switch on the side.Update: August 14, 1 We have now used it on several camping trips, and we recently returned from a completely unplugged 6-day/night vacation to a secluded place to observe the stars. We had several cloudy nights, so I had time to try while watching satellite TV. This tiny fan does assist the fridge keep temperature better and cool back down after you have left the door open. Our refrigerator has a digital thermometer, and with the small fan on, it often returns to 37 degrees within 8 to 11 minutes after opening the door. It took 14–21 minutes to return to temperature when we tried it without the fan, proving that even a small amount of air movement upward in the front of the fridge can make a difference. The length of time it took to open the refrigerator to pull food out of it for a meal or from simply standing in front of the fridge looking for something interesting to eat or drink is likely what caused the difference in recovery times.
