Lowering a car can cause problems because it changes the car's center of gravity. This can make the car less stable and more likely to roll over. It can also make the car's suspension and brakes work less effectively.
No, you cannot lower a car with just springs. Springs are not designed to lower a car. They are designed to support the weight of the car and provide suspension.
Yes, coilovers can lower your car. They are a type of suspension that allows for adjustable ride height, so you can lower your car to your desired level. In addition to lowering your car, coilovers can also improve handling and performance.
Lowering springs will lower the ride height of your vehicle, which in turn will change the angle of the suspension. This may or may not require new shocks, depending on the make and model of your vehicle as well as the height you are lowering it. You can speak to a professional to get a better idea of whether or not you need new shocks.

Easy to install and gives a crew lwb 6.4 bed 15 ram a genuine 2" reverse level. The only equipment required is a 21mm wrench, socket (ratchet or impact), jack, and blocks to raise the vehicle as high as it will go off the hitch. There is no need to touch the sway bar or other links; simply remove the two bottom shock bolts. As I utilize my truck as a truck and the airlift 1000 air bags aid with bottoming out, I combined these two. Overall, it was a great deal given the cost and result. No problems or worries with the riding quality. Since lower to ground has a better effect than factory or increased height, it rides as well as factory, if not slightly better.

My 2017 iron was reduced by the product. I like how simple the installation is. After seeing an internet installation video, the instructions were easy to understand. A few images in the instructions would be nice. including the required bolt torque specifications. It would be helpful if they supplied the torque specs as you are dealing with suspension. The reason for the four stars is that I had to go out and buy three washers for each side so it could fit the lowering kit.

I used this kit on a 1968 Camaro as a temporary drop kit while I completed a coilover conversion. To make it work, I had to grind down the blocks' nipple and drill larger holes in the OEM bolt plates, but they will work on first-generation Camaros. With these 2" blocks, I had to run 1" wheel spacers on my 18x10s because the shocks were touching my wheels after I lowered the car (on 1st generation Camaros, be sure to check your wheel backspacing before you do drop blocks on your leafs because you might have to run wheels spacers or install a shock relocation kit).

Everything was just like it was shown. is missing the mounting hardware for the lower shock mounts on the lower control arm, so I had to buy it from a hardware store. 7/16 -24 For me, using a locking nut worked. Be mindful that the top nut needs a fender washer to function correctly. Besides that, the product performs exactly as it should.
Lowering your car can improve its looks and handling, but it also has some consequences. One is that it can put extra stress on your shocks and cause them to wear out more quickly. In addition, lowering your car can make it more difficult to go over speed bumps and drive on rough roads.
