Dorman 83244 Auto Transmission Shift Indicator Bracket Review:

The small, inexpensive plastic component appears to be ideal. It fits, and the cord is held.Someone has to investigate why the Amazon recommendation for auto parts claimed the part wasn't appropriate for the truck.replaces the existing one on my 4.0 V6 1997 Ford Ranger. The original, which was broken after 19 years, is shown alongside the replacement. For installation instructions, visit ChrisFix on YouTube and search for "How to Align a Car Shift Indicator."

Dorman 905-110 Shift Tube Clamp Review:

Absolute improvement over the low-quality, aluminum OEM clamps. The fact that one of mine was entirely split in half made it clear why my shifter was being so recalcitrant. These will probably simply be extras if you replace them because you will probably also replace the shifter tube, which includes new bushings. I did, and as a result, my shifter works perfectly again. But even with that, I deducted a point because they are outrageously costly for a little piece of metal with drill holes. But if you're spending the effort to make this repair, you must have them. A broken manufacturing clamp is shown in the image.

Dorman 924-706 Chrysler/Dodge Transmission Shift Interlock Latch Review:

For no apparent reason, my 2005 Chrysler Pacifica got locked in park in my garage. Surprise! After taking a few big breaths, I hopped into YouTube to search for any solutions. To my astonishment, there is a very cheap, stupid-looking plastic component immediately below the shifter. This little plastic hook, which was attached to a spring and allowed the operator to engage gears, snapped off. I paid half as much for this metal component on Amazon as I would have paid at my neighborhood auto parts shop. I carefully removed the console, disassembled the shift box according to the YouTube instructions, then put the part back together. I refrained from using the strong spring because I was scared it would damage the other plastic hook attached to the gear box. The original spring ought to be adequate. After roughly 3 to 4 hours, the installation was flawlessly finished. However, when I started to start, I heard a click, click, click. I suppose while resolving the issue, I killed the battery. After that, expect a dead battery. Finally, I charged the battery, put the car in drive (R), and took off. Not a single issue. Yay! fantastic stuff If you take your time disconnecting and reconnecting, you can easily repair the problem. An inexpensive DIY project.

Acuity Shift Linkage Bushing Upgrade for the 2007-2017 Honda Civic Si, 2007-2017 Civic (MT), 2015-2017 Honda Fit (MT) Review:

These bushings were used in my 2013 Civic Si.They carry out their specified functions.Shifting feels less clumsy and more accurate.Since the shifter is now out of supply, I made the decision to get these in the interim. What do you expect? I've read several negative reviews where people claim that they accomplished nothing. Only the bushings are being charged. There is definitely a difference.Everything is of high quality and fits properly. Because the rings are a little different, the bigger one took approximately 2 minutes, while the smaller one took about 10 minutes. Nevertheless, with each attempt, I got closer to putting the locking ring on. Because I could change these bushings without removing my car's blox intake, my installation time was reduced. Depending on the type of intake and the model of your civic, you might need to remove the intake to access these bushings. I advise you to view one of their YouTube videos.Russ and I have been in touch for a few weeks, and his support is unmatched. When the shifter is back in stock, I'll buy it.

Hurst 1530020 Universal Brushed Aluminum T-Handle Review:

Because I wasn't sure Hurst would fit a sporty German convertible, I debated many various brands. However, it looks fantastic and the words naturally lean toward your radio and the front of your car, largely obscuring the name. The metal blends in with the chrome on the rest of my car and resists scuffing as other manufacturers have been known to.The feel of moving a car is, by far, the BEST I've ever experienced. The hold is incredibly strong and resilient. Due to pulling down and shifting into the position where first is in every other automobile, moving a VW into reverse might grind the gear. But for the first time in years, I can smoothly shift into reverse with this knob.Hurst knobs will now be purchased for every vehicle I own... I'M SOLD!

Dorman 905-109 Black Automatic Transmission Shift Lever Review:

Fits perfectly in my 2002 F250. restored O/D switch functionality and, when combined with new shift tube, bushings, and mounts, brought the infamously sloppy Ford shifter back to factory smoothness. Now that it is 16 years old, my truck shifts like new, the indicator reads right, and I no longer struggle to put it in park. I just took it to a wire wheel and repainted the bald spot, even though it is kind of aggravating because it says "Made in China" in bold letters right on the visible part of the arm. There is no justification for paying more for a genuine Ford item. With the additional LEDs on the O/D indicator, this one even looks and feels a little fancier.

Vincool for Ford 6.0L Engine High Pressure Oil Rail Pump Adapters Leak Test Kit (Fuel Rail) Review:

Instead of purchasing the Perrin equivalent, I decided to save some money and get this product. People kept telling me, "You get what you paid for," but after I got the product, I was content even before I installed it. The stop-gap was almost an indictment of Perrin's appearance, and it was hefty; it is NOT some cheap piece of plastic, which made me very happy. I didn't try to shatter it, but despite its strength, I could tell it was constructed of high-quality metal. Additionally, the extra hardware was provided, which was fantastic because I mentally prepared to visit Home Depot to pick up some washers if necessary. It took me no more than 10 minutes to put it on my 2015 Subaru WRX, and I was astonished by how much better my car shifts now as a result of this tiny product. I've only had it for about two months, but thus far there have been no issues! In a location where no one will ever see it, and where no one would be able to know even if they were driving the car, I would certainly advise purchasing this FIRST, then only getting Perrin if you WANT name brand.

TCI 616541 FAST-GATE Shifter Review:

Ok, let me start by saying that this is a very nice and well-made shifter. The installation instructions, however, are for a 3 speed transmission. If you want to install it on a 4 speed 700R4 like I did, you will need to buy 4 new mounting bolts that are about 1/2 in longer. This won't cost you more than $3 at Lowe's, and you will also need to mount the cable bracket inside the shifter rather than on the face as instructed. If you don't do The year was 1981 el.

B&M 80668 Black Rubber Shifter Boot Review:

swiftly arrived and suited the original well. Installed, it looks much better than the previous, worn-out, cracked one I had recently replaced.

TeraFlex 4947100 TJ Transfer Case Shift Linkage Review:

Without requiring any alterations, bolted up to my 1997 TJ 2.5 stick. Before removing the skid plate, make sure to place a jack under the transmission's tailshaft so that your heights remain constant and you can adjust everything at once. When the skid is put back on, you don't want to have to try to adjust it. It's awful.
