I got this so the lights would keep the workers on the night shift entertained. Installing the system was simple. It took me some time to realize that the censor was actually a little cable coming from the IR unit. The remote worked flawlessly after I realized that! Although their poor adhesion to the carpet underneath the seats did not prevent us from using them, we did zip tie the lights on the front seats. Be advised that you will need to supply your own zip ties since they are not included in the kit. I might decide to relocate them; that might make a difference.The only challenge we encountered was positioning the IR box so that the remote control could read it. In the end, we decided to place it in the center console of my truck. If I want to alter any settings on the remote for any function, I do have to lift the console, but I don't have a problem with it.Strobe lighting is optional when using the lights. They are ideal in terms of lighting because they are neither too bright nor too dark. You may not be able to see them outside depending on how darkly tinted your car's windows are. I appreciate that they can be illuminated when I'm driving without interfering. It's difficult to see all the colors because my camera clearly didn't do a very good job of capturing them, but they are quite vibrant!I am giving an unbiased evaluation; I did not buy these. For those who are lazy to wire things instead, like me, I put it on my Frontier with a fairly simple plug and play method. concealing all connections, allowing for brightness adjustment and many light-playing options. The sound activation relies on where you place the sound box; I placed mine exactly where my speakers could be heard, and it picked up flawlessly. For some, it might be challenging because my truck has a loud exhaust system, and the drone noise you can hear from the driver's seat sometimes interferes with the music's sound activation when you're driving. My riders can see me much more clearly thanks to the really brilliant LED lighting. The blue light does terrify vehicles in front of me into believing there is a cop behind them because it reflects off the street signs. Since the sign is somewhat thin, care must be used when attaching the suction cups to the window. Wonderful lights; I purchased two sets, which was a good thing because I botched the first one. So I hired a pro to install it. These items are really cool. It moves to the music, has some really cool themes, and is very colourful. Excellent fit for my mustang! You must also keep in mind to switch them off each time you exit the vehicle. But given how bright they are, that ought to be simple to recall. As I previously stated, if you're unsure, I would recommend hiring a pro to install.
