Although it seems like these clear shields are a little bit thinner than the ones I often get from an auto parts store, they are two for the price of one and come with all the necessary hardware. I can't guarantee durability, but my prior, thicker ones were shattered or fractured by shopping carts, etc. But who's complaining when they prevented the plates from appearing bad and, more crucially, prevented my front end from being dented when the cover was struck? I've always used these kinds of covers, so I'm aware not to overtighten the screws, even the bigger ones. Just one more turn will do it... If even one of them lasts as long as those did for the price, I haven't lost anything. To position the exterior outline where you want it, use blue painter's tape.Remove the front's adhesive coating; keep the sides attached but pull them outward by about 1 inch. So that they won't accidentally contact the body while out of alignment, you can get the front set first and then pull back the sides, left then right.Even if it's not centered on the car because the vents it's supposed to cover are closer to the drivers side, it still looks very great.To force air into it, I put it with the entrance towards the front. I did this primarily because it fit better this way; it was very difficult to correctly and symmetrically cover the vent apertures when they were facing the windshield.I can hear the noise being made and hope it is absolutely safe because sometimes on the highway the air being forced into the vents looks to be pushing up on the front bonnet and circulating into the engine compartment.

I blocked TMZ's number because they wouldn't stop calling me. Although I adore the hood scoop, too many people are staring at me because of it. Even now, Dale Earnhardt Jr. persistently asks me if he may ride in my whip. I rattle canned my rims gold, self tapped on some nice front splitters, hot glued on some side vents, and now I can't even fall asleep at night. I'm considering selling my prized creation and purchasing a new Lambo or GT400 instead.

looks good and appears to have been well crafted. I've had it on all summer, and when the fan is running at a low to medium speed, it does seem to "push" more air through. Although it's not meant to, in the past I could feel more air when the fan was operating from the lowest to around the middle position. Now, while moving, I experience at least the same airflow on low as I do on medium. The low fan position is unquestionably lower when stationary than when moving. Of course, I got this purely for aesthetic reasons, and it does look nice.I'm interested to see how it performs during the snowy winter and will keep you updated if anything goes wrong.
