Although the product is referred to as a "Trash can" in the title, a utility bin or bag would be a far better description. It features wonderful pockets to put things for kids in the rear and a good adjustable strap to tie it to the back of a car seat. It also has a trash pickup area in the center with provided trash bags, but it's possible that the trash bag is actually a tiny cooler bag because the material inside the "Trash can" section resembles a little cooler bag. Water bottle cooling will have to be tested, but I have a feeling it might work.I was concerned that the front-facing strap buckle might interfere with someone in the front seat, but I discovered that, at least in my car, the headrest protrudes sufficiently to prevent the strap from touching my neck or the back of my head.For anyone who wants to maintain a neat and clean rear seat in their vehicle, I believe this is a really useful small accessory.

I can't believe I'm reviewing a garbage can, but this one does a great job! I've used the pop-up, cylinder-shaped garbage cans for years, spewing rubbish all over the place since they never stay in place no matter how I secure them to the floor board. I suspend this garbage can between the two front seats using an adjustable strap that I loop through my center console (facing the back). This prevents it from toppling over while also making it simple to access from both the front and back seats. It carries plenty of trash and is bigger than any other automobile trash can I've seen in stores (I line it with a grocery store plastic bag, which fits perfectly). The top round aperture and simple Velcro closure of the lid both work to prevent rubbish spills. However, a passenger may easily reach beneath the trash can to get the controls for the rear seat air conditioning, which are located on the back side of my center console. Although the strap was long enough for the console in my Yukon, none of our full-size Dodge pickups could accommodate it. I'm overjoyed with this.

A few of my material pop-up garbage cans broke under the strain I placed them under. I now have two of these, and the one used for yard waste has so far escaped being punctured by big logs and other debris. I line it with a plastic trash bag and use clothespins to keep it in place. When it is full, I tie off the garbage bag and tip it over to remove the bag. The nylon bag is undamaged, even when the contents typically repeatedly pierce the plastic bag. They are easy to carry about and store because they fold up so flat and have knots on the ends. Now that we're forecasting a frost or freezing, I'm thinking of purchasing extra to protect my plants.

This garbage can was a road trip purchase. I got it because it could be used with standard shopping bags and had rubbish liners. This was very practical. It was wonderful to have a somewhere to deposit our snack food wrappers and other trash that inevitably builds up while you're driving for a long time.What I enjoyed:1. The size is excellent. Although it was big enough to carry a lot of waste, it was nonetheless portable.2. These liners! I like that it came with many of liners, but if they run out, you can use any regular shopping bag.3. The lining fastens! The fact that the trash can includes claps to keep the bag in place is fantastic. The liner doesn't stay (in other trash cans) so frequently, which is really aggravating!4. The subject! Because it is waterproof and washable, I was able to easily clean the edge of the bin when I spilled yogurt on it.5. The clasps and Velcro! It's fantastic that clasps and Velcro are provided to attach the bin to the floor or the seat, depending on which is most practical for your particular driving situation.Items I didn't enjoy:1. the top. Because it had a lid, I ordered this bin. But even when closed, the lid is not secure. If a lid doesn't have a magnet or clip to keep the trash from spilling out, what good is it? On the trip, the bin was constantly relocated, so it could have been convenient to "lock" the lid before "tossing" it in the rear seat.2. the container with soft sides. Please understand that I have nothing against the materials utilized to make this trashcan (see the material in things I liked). It was simple to clean and had a great appearance! But because it was soft-sided and arrived folded, it constantly appeared to be about to collapse. The fact that it wasn't as straight-sided as it appeared on the product image was frustrating.Overall, I would suggest this item. It definitely came in handy throughout our 10-day road trip, so I'm glad I bought it.
