Dicor 501LSW-1 Lap Sealant is the subject of this evaluation. Use this sealant on horizontal surfaces only. It will drip down the sides if used on vertical surfaces. An unfavorable review of this product claims that it does not self-level, but this is inaccurate. Yes, this product self-levels. I believe the customer who bought it and was dissatisfied anticipated it to have a molasses-like consistency and spread thinly and evenly. This product doesn't work in that way. This is fantastic for things like vents on the roof and places where ceiling fans stick out from the roof. It sort of works like this: if you have a screw head that needs to be covered, apply a 1/2" high glob of 501LSW on it; after a short while, the glob will spread out to a bigger circle and be approximately 1/4" high. This won't work properly if you use it as regular caulk and just run a bead of it. For it to level out, the caulk must be applied in a tall bead. This stuff is meant to be put on in a generous manner, it is not going to look pretty but it will flow into nooks and crannies and fill potential leak spots. If you are near the edge of your roof be careful as this can level out by the roof edge and drip down the sides. In a way it is similar to baking, if you put a little caulk on the screw head that is 1/8" high that won't spread and it probably won't self level much either.This IS NOT the thing you need for a vertical surfact.

It works PERFECTLY! , The use of bonfires on one end of my land results in the burning of many pallets, which leaves nails and wood staples on the ground. Naturally, you can't pick them all up, so I would always have flat tires on the tractor; however, because to this substance, that is no longer the case. I chose to try this out because the tractor had two flat tires and a third was soon to follow. Those flat tires were swiftly fixed, but I'm sure more aren't turning up either. I wish I had discovered this product sooner; it would have spared me a lot of frustration and a few more flat tires.How can you go wrong with something so simple to use and so quick?Oh, and you should make sure to purchase a real valve stem removal tool; the plastic one that comes with each bottle's cap is practically useless because it bends easily and releases long before the valve stem actually splits loose. Forgo the molded plastic tool and spend the few extra bucks to purchase a real metal one.The John Deere's feet are now completely inflated and worry-free.

I have been driving my brand-new, black automobile in the harsh Florida weather for a few weeks now—rain, then scorching heat, plus salt air. It regularly appeared unclean, so I knew the finish needed to be protected. I washed and dried the car, then used compound/polish to cover minor swirl marks and bird dropping damage. Finally, I used Jet Seal and CG's Black Light (all by hand). I quickly became aware of the paint's rich, smooth gloss and texture. Overnight, the car sat to heal.I navigated construction zones, fog, and mist as I made my way to work this morning. My car wasn't only dry; it was also pristine when I stepped out, which made me speechless. Amazing! Only mine was dry and clean when I compared it to the other cars in the parking lot. applied manually, but for some reason it became too challenging for me, so I used a DA and a microfiber finishing pad. I left it lie for over an hour to cure and it came up easily after being easily cleaned up with a microfiber towel. It appears nice. I'm not sure how long it will last, but so far, when the car is touched, the handprints don't seem to leave as strong of a trace as they did before; I don't really know how to explain it, but it almost seems to evaporate. I frequently get pretty nasty handprint fog marks. It looks beautiful with just this on it, but I had intended to finish it with wax. I'll determine after let it at least 12 hours to sit before making my decision. Despite never having used a sealant before, I had no trouble using this one. The automobile looks fantastic in the sun. So joyful!

A final update Since writing the initial review, I've used this quite a bit.Although I'm not sure how it will function in the long run, it has already stopped my tiny battery leak. Normally, I don't trust solutions that promise to "fix it in a can," but I've seen stores utilize this particular product. It probably works on little leaks but not on significant ones, in my opinion.I tried to wait for this thing to dry, but in the end gave up and replaced my car's battery. I applied two coats. Because it's challenging to use the spray can precisely, I cut out paper shapes and stuck them to the batteries. I essentially cut circles out of the paper the size of the terminal plus about half an inch, then sprayed it all over. The outcome was favorable. My battery wasn't entirely purple.If you use two coats and don't go overboard, you could potentially "repair" little leaks in a lot of batteries with one can.To prevent multiple batteries from leaking, I have done this. Recently, a car I possessed for a year developed a battery leak. After I had cleaned the battery and terminal and sprayed this on, I spoke with the dealership, and they said they would have done the same thing with the same solution. According to my observations, this spray may seal the terminal and prevent the corrosion from escalating for anywhere between six months and a year or more. Even on a new automobile, you still need to check your batteries often. While you're at it, check your fluid levels.Battery leaks have existed for as long as there have been cars. Although I'm not sure if it is true, that has been my experience. You have done the best attempt to try to cure it if you catch it early, clean everything, and spray this chemical on the base of the terminal where the lead and plastic connect. Remove anything that lands on the terminals where the cable connection will be by wiping them clean. Reattach the cable immediately, skipping the drying time. (The drying process takes a very long period.)Sometimes I tape off the battery terminal to prevent the spray from getting everywhere. It also works to wipe it off. If used sparingly, one can of this can probably "cure" 100 batteries. Or it can repeatedly cure a few batteries. (With me, that is more likely to be the case)Keep an eye on the leak often. If required, repeat the procedure. If it truly won't stop, think about buying a new battery. Alternatively, if you're really committed to cleaning it off and spraying this thing, you might find that you only need a new batteries in the end. If a leak is reported or discovered by the dealer, they put this on new automobile batteries. It's not a perfect device because it won't stop every leak, but if the leak is little enough and you catch it early enough, it can probably extend the life of your battery by one to three times. You might need to spray it once a year in some circumstances (they don't survive much longer than 3-5 years anyway). If only one side is leaking, I spray it on the opposite side. I'm not sure if that helps or not (to perhaps stop a leak that hasn't started yet). I might sprinkle it on fresh batteries. I might give it a shot.

simple to use It does give my silver Honda Accord a "wet look" that is created by jetting. However, in order to apply this product and create the desired "wet look," you must first wash, clay the paint to remove any embedded impurities, and then polish the surface. I completed every step above. Wearing gloves would be advised when applying this lotion because the stench is difficult to remove from hands. You must first unscrew the cap of the container and use a toothpick to take out the inner seal from inside (in the case where the seal gets caught in the cap). I advise using the product in temperatures of at least 50 degrees or above. Moreover, the product should have two days without rain to thoroughly "cure." It can be used right away after polishing, but you must wait at least 8 hours for the product to cure before applying carnauba wax or another coat of Blackfire. You can only apply Balckfire once after applying wax. After curing, it leaves the car paint feeling incredibly smooth (assuming you clay bared first).

To finish the floor of my basement recreation room, I purchased six of these. Shipping was quick and simple. Keep in mind that using citric acid as an etching agent indoors is not necessary. Product beautifully covers 100 square foot parts. Try not to make it 125 square feet. With the provided paint roller, it applies rather easily, though twirling the roller to produce the 3D appearance takes a little practise. Overall, I'm happy with the outcomes, but my wife is not. The finish is really shiny. Any cracks will also be visible. When mixing and applying, there was a slight smell, but this was gone once dry. The finished product is as flawless as glass and looks fantastic. Highly advised.
