I travel through various Love Bug regions on my truck and class A RV for thousands of kilometers. I purchased this because during my previous vacation, I spent at least thirty minutes scrubbing with a bug squeegee mounted on a long pole. My truck also appeared to be unloved. I managed to remove the Love Bugs, but there were still about 100 obstinate clear goo marks on me. Although RVers want to keep the weight down, I opted to test this first. I nearly bought a ladder. First, I purchased BugsN'All. It worked well, however the concentrate cost $17.99 for 2 quarts. It works so effectively that I only need to spray it on, wait a few minutes, and then grab a hose—of course—equipped with a sprayer to get rid of the majority of the residue. I next foam the car with my preferred Car-pro reset body shampoo and rinse it after 5 to 10 minutes before foaming again for the contact wash, by which time all of the previous residue has been removed. Naturally, "body shampoo choice can differ" from person to person.You will need to reapply your preferred wax or sealant after the entire application because it appears that this may also slightly remove wax or sealer. WOW! As near to hell on Earth as us lengthy commuters can get is "Lovebug Season," which is presently underway in the South. If you leave lovebugs on your automobile for too long, their acidic blood and guts will eat away at the paint because they are disgusting creatures. Before is shown in the first image, after is shown in the second image. I am STUNNED. I spent barely 15 minutes on what before would have taken me roughly an hour. Even though I tried to remove as many "corpses" before scrubbing and soaked the sponges for 5 minutes, these performed great. If you're having trouble, like I have, I would suggest these.I just have one query: Are they the same sponges that have happy faces on them? According to my memory, they appear to be made of the same material and are much less expensive. Worth it in both cases!

Amusedly surprised I spend a lot of time on the highway, and the bugs on the front of the car really start to accumulate. I've previously spent hours soaking, scrubbing, soaking, cleaning, and only managed to reach the point where I could declare "good enough," but it wasn't completely clean. So I made the decision to test this kit. I began by soaking in warm Marquires Gold wash before quickly attempting to see what would come off with simply a microfiber cloth as normal. About a third, I'd say, was cleaned off, and the rest was stuck as usual. After spraying the MK-37, I gave it a 30-second rest before spraying it once again. As the cleaner worked its magic and drained down the front of the surfaces, I could literally see the color of the liquid turning yellow around the bugs. I was somewhat dubious and reasoned that it might simply be removing the yellow carnuba wax I apply. On to the scrub sponge, which was soaking in the warm Maggie's Gold bucket I had previously used. The bugs simply fell off with very little effort! I'm not sure how much of the MK-37's simplicity and how much of the scrubby brick in the kit can be credited for that, but the combination did the job. I regret not trying this product sooner! I completed the project by applying a coat of carnuba wax, some stone chips, and polymer protectant. It appears brand new.

The results are much better than I anticipated. travelled to Newport, Oregon, from Southern Washington. full of insects. Said bugs stayed on the truck for about two months before being washed (I know....I know). After applying a diluted mixture in a spray bottle and letting it sit for approximately a minute, the bugs simply wiped off with a power washer. It was almost hard to believe that the product actually did what it claimed to do. The bottle is still almost completely full! even had enough diluted mixture in the spray container left over to clean another car. Chemical Guys are skilled at what they do. Just do it if you're considering it. I fail to understand how you could be let down.

Compared to other solutions claiming to have similar results, the Armor All product offers the greatest formulation for eliminating bug splats and dried bird deposits. In addition to the usual Interstates, my job as an agriculture consultant requires me to travel on a variety of routes, and from April to October, my pickup is continuously collecting bugs on the windshield, light lenses, etc., which need to be removed frequently more than once every day. In order to save time and ensure safe vision on the highways and country roads, I keep the Armor All product in my pickup and can quickly clear the splats when necessary. Armor All liquid remover is uncommon in most retail stores for any reason. It's like pouring wax on the windshield with smearing and having to put in a lot of work to clean it up. I've tried the most widely available Turtle Wax product, and it is significantly inferior to Armor All. It is possible to get Armor All wipes, but they are a poor substitute for the liquid solution, especially since they come in a plastic can with a top that doesn't stay on tightly and the wipes dry out. The 2005 Mercury Mariner that my wife is currently driving never seems to have the same pop to the black paint job that it did when we initially bought it, no matter how many times we take it to be washed and waxed. As a result, I made the decision to finally try the Turtle Wax Jet Black that I frequently see in the neighborhood auto shops (via Amazon, it is around $5–6 less expensive than retail, so that's a plus).First, the positives: It performs as promised. Wow, does it really function as stated. Prior to doing anything, the car must be washed (the Jet Black pack does not contain a wash, so I used regular Turtle Wax Max Power Car Wash). After cleaning and drying it, you apply the supplied Black Carnauba wax, let it dry to a haze, then buff it off. You do this after applying a pre-wax cleaner similar to how you would apply ordinary wax. The car appeared to have just come off the manufacturing line after that lengthy and difficult effort (see the disadvantages). It was actually finished in mirror black. The pre-wax/Carnauba wax covered a few minor dings on the fenders and nearly entirely concealed a lengthy scratch on the hood.Be aware that while it works to cover SMALL scratches, it won't likely do much good if the scratch extends into the paint behind the clear coat. Which is kind of clear, and I don't believe it takes a genius to figure out that wax, whether or not it contains black pigment, won't make that better. However, a great deal of other reviewers are still perplexed that it doesn't heal or cover scratches. Just be aware that you shouldn't likely anticipate miracles from this material.Whatever the case, the end result was very stunning—at least for our car—and was well worth the $13.99 plus free shipping.Now for the drawbacks: It's a mess. Extremely cluttered Even though I was wearing gloves, the substance nevertheless seeped through them and turned my fingertips black. If you have a dye allergy, it is expressly stated on the product to wear gloves. Regardless of allergies, you should because the substance will spread everywhere. Intriguingly, Amazon suggests that you buy a separate pack of applicators, which is a good idea given that these things are one-and-done. It comes with 2 applicators—one for the pre-wax and one for the Carnauba wax—but they are those foam-style applicators and once you use them, they're useless. When it becomes hazy and has dried, you use a black detailer spray to remove it and buff it (using your own microfiber cloth; none is provided in the kit). But after you're finished, be prepared to throw those clothes in the trash because it's unlikely they can be saved.The time commitment is another significant drawback. As in, you'll need to block off anywhere from three to five hours from beginning to end. It's up to you whether you believe it was worthwhile, but after seeing the outcome, I can attest that it was. On the other hand, I don't intend to include it into my usual schedule. It helped maintain the same degree of shine when I used the Jet Black Spray Wax that I purchased separately to use in between washes, so that could be the best course of action.If you have the patience and fortitude to spend that much time waxing a car, it's a decent alternative to the more expensive designer-type wax products for the price. Our car hasn't looked this good since we purchased it, so I'm giving it five stars for the final product. However, I completely realize that spending 3-5 hours waxing a car is not something that the typical person, or even I, would consider doing frequently.
