Coral tanks can be difficult to maintain because the corals are very sensitive to changes in water quality and need to be kept in pristine conditions. In addition, coral tanks require specialized lighting and filtration which can be expensive and difficult to set up. However, once a coral tank is established, it can be a beautiful and rewarding aquarium to keep.
Corals can hurt fish in a number of ways. First, the coral skeleton is very sharp and can cut a fish if it brushes up against it. Second, corals can release toxins that can poison a fish. Finally, some corals can sting a fish with their tentacles.
Coral reefs are some of the most biodiverse ecosystems in the world. They provide a home for 25% of all marine life and are essential to the health of the ocean. Sadly, coral reefs are in danger. They are being threatened by climate change, pollution, and overfishing. One of the biggest threats to coral reefs is bleaching. This occurs when the water is too warm and the coral expels the algae that live inside of it. The coral turns white and can eventually die. Bleaching has become more common in recent years due to climate change
Yes, you can have coral in a tropical tank. There are many different types of coral, and they come in a wide range of colors. Coral can add a lot of beauty to your aquarium, and they can also provide a home for many different types of fish.

Thick Acrylic
Holds Coral plugs up to 1.5" in Diameter
$234
Since I was getting over 20 new frags, I decided to order two of these racks, and I'm delighted I did.Compared to some of the weak and fragile racks I've used in the past, the acrylic is thick, which is much better. The legs are a part of the rack; they are heated and bent rather than being glued on.I buried the bottom portion of the legs in the sand to test the rack's stability, and it hasn't moved.I could fit 11 fragments in each rack. There was a mixture of 1" and 1.5" plugs. Since the racks themselves don't take up much space on the sand bed, this will work well if you only have a little space.I wish they had a bigger rack, but it was equally affordable to buy two of them for the price.

The four pieces are excellent. I am so happy that I bought these for my Glofish aquarium! The white and blue LEDs in my tank, together with a blue LED Bubbler, truly make these ornaments pop! My favorite is the pink lighting "coral" that I place next to the airstone and under the filter flow so it may move in the water like coral. The other two plants with the fluorescent-colored tips are very beautiful since they swing together with the water flow. I am aware that this isn't the normal "plant" appearance for an aquarium, but having a glow tank lets you be a little more playful and inventive with your décor. Since they are primarily made of silicone, I would suggest these aquarium decorations to everyone and am confident they will survive for a very long time. To add to the green suction cup lighting corals already on the rear wall, I'm planning to buy another one.Additionally, the price point is AMAZING! These products cost roughly $8.99 each if you buy them separately on Amazon, so for me, paying $18.99 for a package of 4 that qualify for Prime was a no-brainer! I received my package in the stated two days and in excellent condition.I simply wished that the taller "plant" had two more long stems added to it. Although it has 3 tall and 2 short stems, I believe that 5 tall and 2 short would have looked nicer, but that's just me being a nitpicker, haha!I hope the photographs will be helpful. Although the seller's images are fine, I prefer to see how the items seem in a truly set-up aquarium and how they are packaged for delivery.

The absolute greatest dry rock available! I've been a compulsive Amazon user for five years, but this is my first review. After reading some of the unfavorable reviews, which claimed that the rock is "soft," "chalky," "manmade," "concrete," "too massive," "too hefty," etc., I decided to put the rock in my "saved for later" folder for months. I finally took a chance a few weeks ago and discovered the meaning of this rock! I urge you to read on!Rock was delivered in two boxes, each containing three pieces: a 33 lb 18" piece, a 14 lb 10" piece, and a 5 lb 5" piece. In the bottom of the box, there was merely a hand's worth of debris. The rock doesn't seem as lovely as the picture at first glance; it seems dusty and quite substantial, with very few holes. However, when I started rinsing it, I discovered some soft spots. My hose's jet setting removed quite a deal of sand and debris, showing several holes, but it still didn't look like the picture. Then I had the brilliant notion to use an ice pick to extract some of the soft sand-like material from the rock's natural pores. I then advanced it, which was a little messy but definitely worthwhile!THE PROCEDURE: Tools: ( ice pick, air compressor, air blow gun tip, goggles, and dust mask)This is a boring process! If the rock has already been rinsed, let it to thoroughly dry. The debris will then be poked or loosen with the aid of an ice pick before being blown out with an air gun attachment using an air compressor. The work is quite tiresome, but if you are a true aquascaping enthusiast, this is not a problem. To observe how this rock truly is a hidden beauty in nature was actually quite enjoyable. To polish it up, I raked the surface of the rock with a little wire brush I purchased on Amazon in order to remove any dried-on dead organic matter from the rock's original ocean environment. Here are some before-and-after pictures that speak for themselves: The first three are from before cleaning, and the other three are from my Tropheus show tank's finished products. Once I've cleaned them all up, I'll report on the before and after of the other order that arrived yesterday.Links to the used instrument AmazonNeiko® 31112 Air Blow Gun Set with Five Replaceable Nozzles and an Extra-Large Trigger | Five-Piece SetWire Brush: Telton 7064 Mini Wire Brush Set (Nylon, Brass, Stainless Steel), 3-Piece Ice Pick: Harold Import Co. Size: 1-1/4 Inch to 2-1/4 Inch
These starfish are off white in color - NOT pure white! They are REAL and some of them will have natural imperfections such as some broken nobs, short arms, cuts, scars, blemishes.
These small white knobby starfish are great to use as wedding starfish for beach themed weddings and for starfish gift tags and ornaments.
Quantity: 20 Starfish
These white thorny starfish are actually cream colored, but can easily be spray painted any color you need to match your beach decor.

Good size All of the "limbs" are there but some of the knobs are gone. Correction in response to email query. I believed there would be a bunch of them in one order when I placed this. I was mistaken. I only received one big starfish, which was around 9 inches wide and 2.5 inches tall in the middle. At one time, the middle of this horned starfish possessed horny spikes, but they are now absent. I believe they dropped off as the animal dried out because they weren't loose in the packaging material. The majority of those on the limbs are still intact. Since it was a living thing that passed away, I wouldn't return it for being insufficiently perfect. It is still rather lovely, but I can't help but think that if it had kept all of its horns, it would have looked better and stood an inch taller. Hope that was useful.

Mount coral frags and colonies to reef rock and plugs
3 pack, 20 grams each
New formula is 17x thicker allowing for more control and less mess
Bonds within seconds even underwater
$234
We are ecstatic about this purchase. Several freshwater tanks are now being aquascaped, and we required plant placement and dragon stone hardscaping options. Although many people use super glue, we needed a solution that had been successfully used for aquarium purposes. The item was in good condition when it promptly came. The glue is contained in a tube that can be resealed and has an easy-to-maintain top. We've utilized it to firmly fasten the aforementioned dragon stones together. Bonding went quickly and safely. Additionally, with excellent adherence and presentation, we put flame moss and monte carlo to a number of stones. We put on gloves, dabbed glue onto the stone, then "dabbed" the moss onto the glue to attach it. For the Monte Carlo, we used a little adhesive to seal a few of the dragon stone's natural openings before inserting the root system. The bonds are holding up nicely, and all the plants are healthy and green. We now use this glue exclusively for aquascape projects.

Thrilled. This makes just enough resistance to the filter's water flow. When the blue LED light in the tank is turned on at night, these do in fact "glow." These appear realistic, and despite being submerged in water continuously for more than three weeks, the painted design component of the flower has remained intact. I see no cause to think that will alter in the future. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and would strongly advise it.

Coral can be a beautiful addition to a fish tank, but there are a few things to consider before adding it to your aquarium. Coral requires specific water conditions and care, and it is important to research whether your fish tank can provide a proper environment for coral to thrive. Generally, coral need clean water with low levels of dissolved minerals, a stable pH, and moderate lighting. If your fish tank cannot provide these conditions, it is best to avoid keeping coral in your aquarium.
Coral does help with ammonia. It is a natural filter for the water and helps to keep the water clean. It also helps to keep the pH balance in the water.
Coral stone is a popular material for aquariums and aquascaping. It is often used to raise the pH of aquarium water. However, it is important to note that coral stone is not a "magic bullet" for raising pH. It will only raise the pH if the water is already alkaline. If the water is acidic, the coral stone will not have any effect.
Coral growth can be maximized by providing the right conditions for growth and by using methods to encourage growth. The right conditions for growth include warm water temperatures, high water quality, and high light levels. Methods to encourage growth include using nutrients and stimulating growth with light.
If you want to know if your corals are happy, there are a few things you can look for. First, see if they are actively feeding. Secondly, look at their coloration. If they are brightly colored, that is a good sign. Finally, see if they are expanding and growing. If they are, that means they are happy and doing well.
Coral in an aquarium can grow quite fast when provided with the correct conditions. Good water quality, lighting, and nutrition are key to keeping coral healthy and allowing it to grow quickly. Many types of coral will grow quickly if given plenty of room to spread out. Some types of coral, like acropora, can grow an inch or more per month under optimal conditions.
