Kaytee Igloo Hideaway, Colors Vary Review:

I've bought a few of them over the years, and while they last, they do start to look somewhat worn after a year because they scratch easily. In addition, our mice and chinchillas chew around the edges, with the exception of our guinea pig who left his untouched. There is no need to bother the little guys by opening the cage and exposing them while they are resting, etc., since the animals seem to feel secure inside believing they are disguised, but it is easy to check on them as the igloos are translucent. I bought the mini and the itty-bitty sizes this time. I've provided pictures comparing their sizes to one another; the purple one, whose length is roughly the same as its breadth, is "tiny," while the blue one is "itty-bitty." A picture of the "itty-bitty" is also included to demonstrate how transparent the igloos are (I put a 9-volt battery underneath for size comparison).

Lixit Critter Space Pod, Perfect for Small Animals Review:

Without our Space Pods, we could not function! I always keep this in my rat cage. My sons prefer their space pods to hammocks while they're sleeping, hugging, or just relaxing. Also very beautifully crafted are the Lixit Space Pods! They are eternal. I purchased two extra Space Pods to provide the boy's cage even more hiding and sleeping spaces in addition to the two I already had from my previous girls group. I really like that you can hang them upside down from the top of the cage or lay them on the floor. I actually hung my Space Pods from the top of the cage by inserting metal hanging hooks through the holes in the hanging feet because I don't entirely trust them. As a result, they are incredibly safe and can support the weight of all my guys if they chose to enter at once. I also adore how simple it is to clean them. They only need to be cleaned with a damp cloth or baby wipes to look brand new. I simply ask that the business begin producing things in an Extra Large size. Although the Lixit Space Pod Large IS the largest of all the sputnik-style space pods, it would be fantastic to have a bigger one if you have four enormous guys like I do. They should be available in more hues, too. I never purchase the many colors offered by some of the other brands because they are smaller than the Lixit one. I wish I could choose the colors.

Kaytee All Natural Aspen Bedding Review:

The guinea pigs tolerated it well, it's easier to spread and clean than paper bedding, and it lasts for a very long time (5 months for us)Cons: *hard to store due to size; *heavy-duty bag might be perforated easily; *shavings will end up on your floor if you have dirty animals or a child who throws the animals out frequently.I purchased this package in March of 2018; it has been good until August 1 and I still have one cage change left. I thus switch up my cage every week. And my cage is 2 x 3 C

Guinea Habitat Guinea Pig Cage by Midwest Review:

We've had this habitat for almost three months, so I must admit that some of the bad feedback startled me. Then I quickly remembered from looking at the picture that I had decided to attach the flooring inside the cage rather than the other way around. ;) By "chose," I mean that I was pressed for time and didn't even think about doing it another way.Despite ignorance, there are advantages to attaching the bottom in this manner:- Since the bars are all outside of the lining, I don't need to take the canvas bottom off to clean it.- There is really no possibility that any kind of mold could grow. I can only presume that those who have mold issues discover it between the cable and the wall. When we change them, we use DIY canvas liners and spray diluted vinegar on them before wiping. I fill the spray bottle with a drop of Dawn, wipe everything down completely, and let it air dry for a few minutes for a more thorough cleaning. No problems at all.- We only need a few minutes to complete our daily quick-clean regimen with vinegar, and there are no stains at all.- I continue to keep the velcro strips outside the cage since I can't imagine how they could possibly chew them. Additionally, the link is really strong. The walls are anything but fragile, so there is no way the wheekers could ever get in between the canvas and the walls.- I believe that by not stretching the canvas as much, our seams are more resistant to leaks. There is complete containment.I hope this is useful. I'll soon upload a picture.

Prevue Hendryx 1097 Nature's Hideaway Grass Hut Toy, Medium Review:

For my guinea pigs, that's a cute little hut! Although it's quite a tight fit and by no means enormous, my adult male and 2-month-old baby pig can fit if they squeeze in together. I appreciate that it has two exits (make sure when housing several pigs that there are always various exits available!). Although they can flip it over when ramming objects into the cage, they actually prefer to sit within it when it is upside down. A wonderful hut all around for them. Mine have nibbled at it over the course of a month, but there has been very little damage. It is lightweight and chewable. The pictures feature my black adult and my two-month-old infant (who looks larger due to hair).

Kaytee Lava Ledge Review:

I purchased these in order to appease one of our rats who enjoys chewing quite a bit. The ledge is constantly being nibbled on by the rats, who also use it to climb and lounge. When roughly half of the stone is gone, my sons appear to lose interest in chewing it, but they still utilize it to climb. Even though the manufacturer claims that the paint on these ledges is safe, I would really prefer one that hasn't been painted. I'll keep buying them because I don't think my rats could survive without them. Two of the ledges in the rat cage are shown in the picture that is attached. They largely disregard the one (pink) ledge that has been bitten on the most. The other (yellow) is three months old; they chew it every day; nonetheless, it is still quite a bit of its original size.
