It was easy to put together this tiny crate end table. I had no trouble getting the holes and pegs to line up. It's a sizable portion. The only issue I have with it is that when it was all put together, a very thin line of unfinished wood was visible across the bottom above the framework on one side. This line was less than 1/32 of an inch wide. However, it may usually be fixed very simply with a little furniture crayon or stain. We didn't think much of it because the table is placed in a place where that side is hidden. Other than that, it's a nice piece. It was an excellent buy for the money. One thing to keep in mind is that the door can only open one way and that the hinges are on the right.

This dog crate is gorgeous and elegant. Our 16-pound Yorkie puppy was kept in a playpen, but I was sick of staring at it. This complements the cabinetry in our new home really well. As I had seen some reviews where the dog could force that open and it does appear like there may be a weak place there, I turned the double door side toward the wall and just used the end door. He has no motive to press on that side when it is up against the wall. It comes with a tan mat that zips out for washing, but I swapped that out for my dog's bed because it appeared to be susceptible to stains. This took my husband around 30 minutes to put together. The factory placed double door latch catch was upside down, but it was simple to unscrew and flip it the right way around.

The crate arrived promptly. reasonable ease of assembly It has a very attractive appearance, therefore I'm fine utilizing it as end tables. Even though my dog is only about 10 pounds, it's still bigger than too little. She is crate trained and very well behaved, so I have no concerns about her causing any harm. Others commented that the latch wasn't very good. Although it won't be an issue for me, it seems like there may be a latch that fits a little tighter or more securely. I adore the side sliding door so much. The door shouldn't get in the way or be pushed shut if I leave the crate open during the day. This is the BEST response!(P.S. She just appears dejected because she saw one of the treats we spilled on the ground.)Update: I had glass tops manufactured for the crates' tops because I have three of them. looks nice and protects the finish. I highly advise doing this.These are operating exactly as I expected. My dogs walk inside by themselves to take naps during the day because the doors are left open, which helps them avoid my furniture. Yay!!

Okay, for some folks, I feel the need to say the obvious. This kennel is made of wood. Your dog will ruin its metal kennel if it gets chewed on. The same is true of body slamming, burrowing, and other similar actions. If your dog isn't kennel trained, don't try to place him in a wooden kennel; all wooden kennels are intended for well trained dogs. My 5.5-pound Pomeranian, however, is kennel-trained and doesn't attempt to escape the device despite having the ability to do so. Also bear in mind that you shouldn't just throw your dog in and hope for the best; rather, you need re-train him to use this kennel. Keep in mind that a dog's kennel should be a safe haven, not a jail cell.Regarding the actual kennel. Overall, the appearance matches the photographs that were advertised. However, there are two reasons why I can only give it four stars. First, the bottom floor panel on which the dog is seated is made of a composite material rather than wood. Given that any water on it will cause it to distort, that is perhaps the only thing I would like to be made of wood. I thus placed his water bowl outside of the kennel. Additionally, if your dog pees in it, it will undoubtedly distort and retain an odor. I'll probably research a waterproofing or lining for the bottom. A small dent or chunk missing from the top down the side was the second problem I encountered. Although it was only a small damage in the wood, measuring less than a quarter inch, it happened during shipment because the package arrived dented. I didn't care enough to try to send it back because I didn't realize until I had completed 75% of the assembly. The only reason I bring this up is that, unlike the most of the things (end tables, bookcases, etc.) I've ordered and had shipped to me, which were packaged tightly and contained 1/2 inch styrofoam packing, this one had 1/4 inch, and the dent appeared to have been averted by 1/2 inch. So check your kennel carefully before you begin assembly if your mail carriers tend to be a little rough when handling your shipments.
