Natural Oatmeal Dog-Shampoo and Conditioner - Medicated Clinical Vet Formula Wash for All Pets Puppy & Cats - Made with Aloe Vera for Relieving Dry Itchy Skin Review:

I have been washing my two huge dogs, each weighing 86 pounds. One has severe allergies, complete with hives. I needed something that would replenish the moisture in my skin and hair after washing it once to twice a week. I gave this wash four stars since it offered the coat a fair level of moisture and sheen, and the skin patches free of hives looked good, but it did not provide any relief for the itchy skin. They itch in the middle of the night, even after I washed them before bed. I regularly treat pests in my yard, garden, and house, and my house is always spotless clean. Aside from the dogs, I don't have any children who bring in dirt and garbage.I began by rubbing organic virgin coconut oil into the skin and coat, letting it sit for at least two hours, and then washing it off (one dog has long hair and allergies so I soak him for 4 hours). That was a total success! Regarding this wash, it has a wonderful scent and is rather creamy—rather than transparent—so you can tell it contains a lot of beneficial ingredients. I've used products from John Paul, Earthbath, Dr. Burners soap for dogs, and many other brands over the past ten years, but I prefer this one.I'm happy with my purchase, and I know you will be too. Please be aware that no over-the-counter shampoo can effectively treat severe itches, although it can be useful for keeping dogs clean when used in conjunction with other items and medication.

Bio-Groom, Protein Lanolin Sulfate-Free Tear Free Shampoo - 32 oz Review:

After our local retailers stopped offering the Bio Groom brand, we tried a lot of dog shampoos and this is our favourite! We have been buying it online since we like it so much. We have a 3 1/2-year-old Golden Retriever, and this product is soft on her skin, smells fantastic, and keeps her coat clean without being unduly dry. Absolutely worth the cost. It IS lighter than other shampoos, as stated on the bottle, but I actually like this and find that it works well when applied to a Golden Retriever's thick coat.

All Natural Anti Itch Oatmeal Spray Or Shampoo for Dogs and Cats | Hypoallergenic Soothing Relief for Dry, Itchy, Bitten or Allergy Damaged Skin | Hot Spot Treatment | Vet and Pet Approved Review:

So I've been looking for something to use on my cat for a long time. He's very sensitive to, well, life because he's a dilute blue cat, so he has allergic reactions all the time. So he had an allergic reaction and scratched all the fur off of his neck, leaving a layer of scabs. So..I found this..and I've been spraying it on him and rubbing it into the area for just over a week now.In addition to having a pleasant scent, this product is natural, which is what I preferred to using chemicals on my cat, and it also makes my cat's fur incredibly silky soft.I would definitely suggest this to other pet owners who are looking for itch treatment for their animals! The cat in the picture is the one I used it on after giving his neck area a thorough spraying.

Nature's Miracle Supreme Oatmeal Odor Control Shampoo, 16 oz. Review:

Everything about this shampoo is AMAZING! I got it through a pop-up promotion. It was incredibly affordable. I was quite wary of it.It is the greatest shampoo I have ever used on my PURE WHITE MALTESE, so I'm really glad I took a chance. His coat is extremely vibrant, soft, and silky thanks to this shampoo. And it smells wonderful! I'm so happy I took a chance and bought it. His skin is not dried out by the product. This shampoo is THE BEST for his extremely sensitive skin! It's the "BEST" dog shampoo I've used in the last ten years.

Groomers Goop Creme for Oily Coats, 14 ounce can Review:

Wow, I've finally discovered a remedy for my cat's tail. Have a Himalayan Flame Point rescue. He was neutered when I received him, and his tail's coat was in poor condition. Even after bathing him, his flesh beneath the fur on his tail constantly appeared soiled. He had scratched himself raw on his head and neck due to allergies, so I had taken him to a cat dermatologist. The dermatologist gave me some little, pricey vials to test on him and mentioned in passing that he had stud tail. Another time, despite what the dermatologist had told me, a conventional vet stared at me with contempt and assumed I had fleas. I tried a lot of things, but this fantastic product is the one that actually worked. I applied globs of this lotion to his fuzzy tail and gently massaged it in a few minutes before I placed him in the tub (which had about 5 inches of water). I used his KetoChlor shampoo to wash his body after getting in the tub. Once I returned to washing bowls of water over his tail, I was astounded to discover that there was pink skin underneath the fur. Finally, something had removed the black and brown flecks off his skin. He has very sensitive skin, so at first I was a little worried that something had burned it, but he didn't appear to mind. His long tail's fur was first a little flat, but it is fully back to fluffy now. By the way, I learned about this product while studying stud tail on purebreads online, and I heartily endorse it for that grubby-looking skin on the tail.

Wahl Flea & Tick Repelling Dog Shampoo for Pets – Defense Formula with Eucalyptus Cedar & Rosemary – 24 Oz Review:

After spending some time lying on the grass while sunbathing, my dog started to scratch terribly. My upstairs neighbors' dogs have fleas, and when they scratch, the fleas fall to the ground downstairs, so I should have known better. She had flees, as I discovered when I checked her. Although this solution doesn't completely eliminate all of them, I lather my dog in it and they start to surface, making it simple for me to identify them while they are dizzy and bring them to their deaths. To get rid of the grime, I give her one shampoo massage first. I apply a second lather, let it sit for six minutes, then begin picking off fleas as they emerge before rinsing it off. Once my dog is clean, I check her entire body before combing and blow-drying her hair. She eventually has a lovely coat and, to my liking, has a faint rosemary scent. I believe that smell keeps those tiny insects off of her. Could I add I don't like rosemary's smell at all because I know it's good for my dog. I have no hesitation in recommending this item. I will continue to use this shampoo on my dog after having tried several others. I'm grateful.

Vet Recommended Waterless Cat Shampoo & Conditioner - Apple Extract (8 Oz/240 ml). Simple Spray & Easy to Use. for Sensitive Skin, Detergent and Alcohol Free. Made in USA Review:

With this, I wash my 20-year-old cat every day who no longer uses the litter box and has lost her right hind leg to cancer eight years ago (she urinates as she sleeps). My wife, who despises all odours, doesn't object to the strawberries supplied, and the cat seems to be fine with it (once the bath is over - she hates being cleaned). I do apply a lot of foam (the bottle contains a liquid, and a lot of foam comes from a tiny quantity of liquid) and work it in before using a wet washcloth to clean her underneath and rear. Going to need to purchase a couple more.

No, you should not wash your cat with shampoo and conditioner. Shampoos and conditioners are designed for human hair, which is different from cat fur.
