In the home are a large dog and two kittens. I previously used a brush. I tried to purchase a pair after noticing friends using this type of comb. I wasn't sure how to utilize it at first. Three different kinds have different tooth spacing. After much searching, I finally discovered that my dog can utilize the long teeth, while the two kittens can make use of the other two little teeth. Unexpected, but very efficient. It may effectively eradicate fleas and scorpions in addition to cleaning the knots. Even I thought the comb was superior to the brush—it was great!

Conveniently, my first review is of this flea comb for my fellow voracious review readers.Usually, I have two cats that I can keep forever and a rotating cast of foster kittens running around the home. Fleas have historically been a pain. I bring in abandoned kittens, and then all of the animals in the house start to get fleas. Along with a monthly treatment, I'm always sprinkling diatomaceous earth and popping capstars like candy.I'm not sure how I missed this flea comb in my initial Google search for the "best flea comb for kittens," but it's no frickin' wonder that it's listed as "the best of Amazon" or something like. It surfaced on another "best of [anything] for kittens" search that I was conducting. When I saw it, I thought "What the—a double row of teeth? Gotta give it a shot."I typically wait until my pets are asleep before flea combing them (if you haven't already, I highly recommend spending the time to research and practice getting your cat used to being brushed/combed). I carry a solo cup (or regular cup, if you're more refined than I am), a dish towel wrapped around my arm, and a few good snacks. Buff, dunk, wipe, and repeat. This comb is just fantastic, holy [something I probably can't use on Amazon]. I collected a single cup of 20 to 30 fleas after combing two-thirds of my existing feline occupants for ten minutes (see photo proof). No, I don't have a flea infestation, and I keep my home immaculately clean every day. The double row of teeth unquestionably makes a difference even if, as far as I'm aware, there isn't a comb with fine enough teeth to remove every flea egg from the kitten kittens.Although this review of a flea comb is lengthy, I think it was worthwhile.

For my three basic kitties, all three of these combs work just great. The long blades work well for one of my cats, who has very thick fur that isn't particularly long. I use the handle-mounted, thin-bladed one with the other two. Despite my preference for the ones with the metal components, the plastic one seems fine. They have been put to use numerous times, and nothing is breaking. They are simple, nice, and quite affordable.

I chose to test these after growing frustrated with our previous wooden and metal flea comb. They are completely worthwhile! They are simple to manage whether your hands are dry or damp due to their weight, shape, and size. They are simple to find if dropped while grooming our pets because to their vivid colors. They can appear weak at first, but they are strong and nicely crafted. I'm very grateful to have these in my pet grooming equipment, and I'll be buying more to give to my relatives who own animals.

These carry out their intended functions. A kitten unexpectedly showed up at the house. It appears that a network of neighbourhood cats communicates who is feeding whom. I'm a sucker too. Everyone who comes is fed.The cat, however, has a significant flea problem. You cannot use flea killer on them since they are so young—roughly 6 weeks old—and so little. These combs are effective. They lighten the load by removing eggs and fleas from their coat. These work very well, but a comb will never be able to get rid of them all.

I've had a significant flea issue. Rodents and fleas are brought into my yard by wild animals, and they also enter my home. I've been utilizing a five-part flea treatment. I have both cats and dogs. I occasionally use poisons on my pets, including drops that have all but ceased working and seem to have caused a neurological problem in one of the cats. NOT NOW! I have been poisoning the carpets and the animals with spray. When I did that once, they all went crazy. Additionally, it contained a regulator of insect growth. I manually remove fleas off the dogs by physically grasping them in more exposed locations, scraping the combs off over a container of soapy water, and dropping the trapped fleas into the water. I also utilize flea combs. The final step is to vacuum often. baseboards included! The final step is to cover the area I vacuumed with Diatomaceous Earth and Boric acid powder.I'm finally in charge of this flea problem. The smallest, oldest, and most hairy of my three dogs gets the largest side of the combs. Even though the biggest dog has thicker hair, I still brush him with the fine side. The two in question are older, less healthy, handicapped, and unable to scratch their fleas. They seem to have the most severe flea infestation. The younger, healthier dog appears to have very few fleas left. I used to combing every night, but now I just do it once every three days. I like that they deliver a lot of them and that they are lighter in color so you can see the fleas. I already ruined two, but since I already had some darker ones from a few years ago that I had ruined, I bought two sets. Unlike poisons, you can use these every day. Simply keep an eye on the animals to make sure you are not injuring them. My little hairy boy was injured by the small side. At first, move slowly because some fleas will literally rise up where you can catch them on a subsequent pass.

This tiny device is fantastic. It actually works. My small dog has a flea allergy, so I give her prescription flea pills, which are effective. However, occasionally when we go for a walk, she will pick up a flea or two. I saw this and thought, "Why not?" To my surprise, it actually works, and my small dog doesn't mind being combed with it. It makes a tiny zap, but it's barely audible. It has clear instructions and is quite simple to use. Even my two cats don't mind it. I think you should buy the one you want to regret.

The long-teeth flea comb from Hertzko is excellent. I had my doubts about its ability to remove fleas, but it performs an excellent job. Additionally, it removes any dried blood or flea droppings that were left behind. By combing them, my dog and cat only believe they are receiving affection. It works equally well for my dog, who has very little hair, and my cat, who has quite long hair.

Excellent—comb has rounded ends and doesn't harm my cats' skin the way other combs do. One cat now lifts his chin so I can comb or scratch along his neck and under his chin. My friends who use chemical flea control solutions now have several extremely expensive medical issues with their cats, so I won't use chemicals on my cats. Instead of using a decent comb, I would want to control vermin.Even the tiniest of those horrible six-legged insects can be grabbed by the teeth, which are close enough together.The handle is properly weighted and balanced in my hand so that I can maintain control of the comb.Although I use a zip-lock bag with a wet paper towel or cotton ball to hold them, I do wish there was an additional piece of equipment to clean out the fleas and debris from the teeth, or something that would slide down to put the debris into a receptacle.For the sake of their priceless kittens' comfort and long-term health, I would suggest this product.

A few weeks ago, we took in a street kitten that was covered with cat lice. I bought this comb to use in the interim because she's still too young to use Advantage on her and she can't get a vet dip every week.The side with the finer teeth makes a valiant effort to remove the nits. It has two sides. It's obviously more difficult to just comb through the kitten's fur because the nits are adhered to the hair, but at least some of them are eliminated with each combing, which is more effective than the metal flea comb I purchased from Petsmart (and later returned due to it not doing anything for the nits). The kitten will be mature enough to treat her lice with a little patch of Advantage starting next week, but the comb is reasonably durable and should last for a very long time only for general combing.
If your house is infested with fleas, don't despair. While getting rid of fleas can be a challenge, it's definitely doable. The first step is to vacuum your floors and furniture thoroughly. Be sure to empty the vacuum bag after each session. Next, wash all of your linens and clothing in hot water. If possible, dry them on high heat as well. You may also want to consider treating your pets with a flea preventative. Lastly, use an insecticide spray to target fleas hiding in cracks and crevices. With a little patience
