Despite the paucity of customer feedback, the decision was made to buy the yacht. It seems to offer decent value. Even when using paddles to free up both hands, the bag is manageable to carry because it has backpack-style handles. There is no need to search for paddles and seats individually because the kit includes everything. Thanks to Boston valves and a two-way supplied pump with a pressure gauge, inflation and deflation happen very quickly. The seats are comfy and simple to assemble. Once inflated, the boat is light enough to be carried even by one person. The boat performed admirably when I tested it out in the lake. With a stabilizer fin, the bottom's rigidity makes it possible for you to stand if necessary, and it floats through the water with relative ease. I would say that it is a little wind-sensitive, but that is a compromise inflatables make for portability. It's still unclear how it will perform in whitewater, but I think it will be just as good. The quality appears to be good; even after half a day on the water, there has been no pressure drop in the chambers. Materials have a sturdy appearance and feel. Last but not least, with a little careful seat modification so that there is room for bags, it is pretty comfortable for two people.

Once you get used to the Tarpon 120's feel, I would say that it is definitely fairly stable. It's not at all like some yaks I've been in when it comes to rollers. It tracks reasonably well, however it appears to want to list slightly to the right, which may be somewhat due to me. At the conclusion of a short, trouble-free lake excursion, both hatches were dry. I would like a smooth plastic surface over the gradient feel for the side areas where one sits. The reason for this is that I'd love to attach my GoPro suction mount there for simple battery replacement and all-around access. However, there is a location that is suitable slightly behind where one sits, but it requires one to reach back, and if range of motion is a problem, you are out of luck. I use dry bags to transport equipment I don't want to get wet because this method offers a lot of cargo storage space. All of the hatches appear to be working properly and, as I have mentioned, remained dry. Although the system's weight isn't too bad, many people would probably need a partner to walk to the cast-off location. Since the seat is so comfy, I could have spent the majority of the day riding without experiencing any discomfort. To be particularly noticeable on the water to high-speed boats that might not see you until the last second if you have a dark-colored variant, I would, however, consider the bright color configuration. I prefer being noticeable, but my color is blue/green, which sometimes makes it difficult to distinguish my boats from the backdrop flora when they are moving quickly with their motors. Overall, a wonderful system even if you already have one and are seeking to improve. Why just four stars? After all, nothing is perfect!

I was hesitant to buy this kayak because I thought my five-year-old wouldn't be able to handle it well. Boy, was I mistaken! This kayak tracks well, is as solid and durable as my sit-in kayak, and my toddler can easily drive and operate it. It is as light as a feather. I don't have to worry with tie downs if I don't want to because it fits inside my Honda CRV. And since it can support 130 lbs, my child can use it for years, or I can use it when she's at school.The seat's only drawback is that it's cheesy, cheap, and worthless unless you're told to have shorter straps, which I did by knotting them. If you discover a boat that includes the seat, great; otherwise, it is not worthwhile for you to go out and get it individually. If the boat had more grommets, more accessories could be bought and installed, or a better seat could be added.Great purchase all around! I've never been happier.

For the price, this kayak offers really good value. I brought it to West Virginia and ran class three rapids with it. I smacked boulders, hit enormous cascades, and flew through the air. Compared to my hardshell kayaks that I brought on the same trip, this kayak was more resilient. Simply put, the paddles are not terrific because they are not long enough. Short distances should be no problem for them, but if you want to paddle a 10-mile section of the river, you should invest in better, longer paddles. The pump is plastic and seems flimsy, but it has held up to all of my use. Additionally, there is a water drain plug-in on the back, which is really useful if you fill it with water from rapids. The sitting is okay if you have a tall and a small individual. It could seem a little crowded in the kayak if there are two tall persons inside. Overall, I was very impressed, and next summer I'll be taking it down more class 3s.

Even though I've only used it once, I truly like it. This boat is quite large! It is not lightweight, but that is a good thing because the rotomolded construction makes it nearly unbreakable and ensures that it will survive for years. amazing comfort of the seats given the austere design. I have plenty of room because I am 6'1"; my feet don't reach the last stirrup. purchased a dolly to transport goods from a vehicle to water and plugs for self-draining holes. Although a plastic wine cork plug did the trick, the drain plug hasn't been discovered yet. Excellent for maneuvering, tracks well with two paddlers, but solo paddling necessitates sitting in the front seat. Arrived on time, albeit two hours late. If you prepare ahead, you won't be disappointed. Amazon only recently began employing third-party shippers, so they are still learning the ropes. Overall a wonderful deal; unless weight is a concern for you, pick one up while supplies last.

We adore our two Lifetime sit-on-top kayaks, which I own two of. We bought one since it was a great offer (Walmart.com $119.50) and I personally like the sit-on-top design. We had a great time using it on the lake. My three children, who are ages 16, 18, and 25, all drove it (see photo). We have been loving them both since I got a second one! A few weeks ago, we went kayaking on the Buffalo River for 10 miles with some adolescent females. One of the female participants got into our kayak at first but quickly changed to try out the sit-inside version. She became really frustrated with her new craft and yearned to return to ours. After that, she wouldn't give it to anyone in our group! (See image; she is in the center of it, in the red kayak) We spent a few hours on the lake with several of my son's pals just yesterday. We had several different kayaks with us. We had to swim the boys to shore to get the water out when one of the boys flipped over in his sit-in position and took me with him. On our Lifetime sit-on kayaks were my two children. One of the pals thought it could be fun to try to swamp our kayak. He attempted to flip it, but it was difficult. Did I mention how stable they are? He eventually succeeded, flipped it back over, and effortlessly stood back up. I would say EASILY in under a minute. Despite being big and heavy, it is nevertheless lighter than the majority of double kayaks. It can be backed into and out of the boat slip by my daughter and I. I've used this kayak several times on a tiny lake with my two daughters. We can sit or stand on it comfortably and frequently do both in one trip. My elder children are able to go out on dates or with pals. It is comfy and tracks well. To save time and effort, we store the fabric-attached seats, and we are perfectly content to sit in the seat mold alone. Although we haven't yet fished on it, the rod holders are strong and impressive. The only thing I have against it is that it just has molded loops with handles that are fastened to nylon rope rather than molded handles. Even though it's sturdy enough, I can't pass a cable through it to lock the kayak. On a private community lake, I'm not terribly concerned about theft, but I wouldn't leave it on a public lake or river boat slip without a mechanism to lock it down. Another benefit was that I could arrange for a free delivery. How fantastic is that? The delivery personnel were very courteous and competent.

After owning only a single fishing kayak, I purchased this one. I wanted a good kayak to take out with my wife and young daughter, as well as the ability to fish it both alone and with others. With this kayak, you may enjoy both family time and fishing. It paddles pretty well, has plenty of storage space inside, and is stable even with our 4-year-old paddling around on it. The main drawback to this kayak is that mine does not completely seal the hatches, which results in interior moisture. After a while of paddling, the kayak becomes difficult to remove from the water until you drain it out. My fishing kayak did not acquire that much water inside of it, however I am not sure how much water is permissible inside of this sort of kayak. It can be the added weight of two adults and a child, or it might be that the hatch gaskets are improperly placed. Malibu Kayaks has not yet responded to my inquiry, and given that it is the holiday season, I anticipate it may take longer than usual.Overall, I think this kayak is excellent, and I have no regrets about my purchase. I hope I keep it for a very long time and that we have lots of family outings to the nearby islands.
