I noticed this and decided to try something new for my girlfriend since I wanted her to be able to play with me. However, I ended up loving them and have been using them ever since; this set has exceeded my expectations. The ideal beginner pack, they feel excellent in the hand, are the ideal weight, and are composed of high quality materials. They give you the driver, mid-range, and putter, the three essential discs that any golfer will require on any course. The mid-range disc was really precise and wasn't nearly as finicky as other mid-range disks i've played. The driver, even in the hands of a rookie, flies far and straight. The mid-range Truth just doesn't work for me, so I took one star off. It's possible that this disc will become a favourite of yours. Despite the fact that I now own four Eclipse putters, some of which have superior plastics, I still prefer the way the DX (kind of plastic in this set) flies. The Judge is still my go-to putter. I do believe that the weights, which vary from 170 to 175g, are a tad heavy for many novices, particularly ladies and some men.

I'm satisfied with the buy overall. I was unsurprised when the discs became scratched because I knew going in that this was lower-grade plastic. A little cushioning on the strap of the bag would have been good. Expect to not be able to carry a large Gatorade with it because the drink holder is a little small. You'll want to upgrade to a larger, more comfortable bag as well as better quality discs if you get serious about the sport and play more than a few times during the summer.

I needed a kit like this to start playing the sport. I owned one of the three-disc sets that included an Avenger SS distance driver, a Buzzz mid-range disc, and a Putter (Soft Magnet). This package included a long driver, two fairway drivers, a mid-range driver, and a putter.The mid-range and the putter proved to be the most useful when learning the sport. Currently, I am bagging the Aviar Putter, the Roc Mid Range, and the Leopard Fairway Driver (which I use for almost all of my strokes). The discs were all of excellent quality. I played disc golf several times with my coworkers' equipment, and it was really enjoyable! I made the decision to give disc golf a try and bought two sets for my family. We all performed poorly on our initial attempts, as was to be expected (how many times does it have to veer to the left before everyone realizes it ALWAYS veers to the left?) Even though I don't believe we all settled on a favorite disc during the second round, we were all driving farther and farther toward the fairway. My wife and I went out on our anniversary, and I released one in the lake in a laughably bad manner (you could say that I threw it completely sideways). That was awful, but not as sad as a $20 pro-driver. Everyone was throwing _exceptionally_ better than on our previous expeditions when my sons (8 and 9 years old) and I set out again for another round. When you're performing well, it's enjoyable!In the end, I believe that practice is the most important factor. You'll be happy with the discs after you start mastering the proper throwing technique (form, release, angle), and do it consistently. As a result, your throw will receive more attention than the disc you choose (well, maybe don't hurl the putter off the tee). If you are just starting off with disc golf, don't squander your money on pricey discs. In the unfortunate case that you lose one in the woods, this set's low cost will lessen your sorrows (or toss it in the lake like I did).Last but not least, DON'T BELIEVE YOU'LL GET THE COLORS IN THE PHOTO. You'll receive a haphazard collection of colors, some of which may be nearly identical. Given that 90% of my "home course" is in the woods, all of the ones I captured were fairly visible.Oh yeah, and remember to enjoy yourself.

I misplaced a lot of discs due to flooding, trees, unpaid loans, and simply giving away too much! I ordered a few pairs after seeing these and deciding that the pricing was fair. I assumed they would be there for practice when they arrived because of how large they were. I had an opportunity to practice driving on the golf course. I threw five sets of twenty, and on three of those sets, the HU was the farthest drive. The heaviest disc I own is a 168 Destroyer, but I seldom use it on the course. My favorite disc is a 147 Archangel. My brother and I are getting older, and you get weaker: -) The new set by Yikun is titled Lite. They are a dollar less expensive and have English names, but they have the same weight.

I bought this starter kit for a friend who is starting to play disc golf because I am. Although I do use Dynamic Discs Mid-Ranges and Drivers occasionally, I don't always.
