I only learned about these strategies today, and I immediately put them to use. Since I am still learning how to play darts, I am still matching up components such dart weights, flights, tips, etc. I purchased a Unicorn Vanquish dartboard that came with darts weighing 10 grams. I purchased some 18 gram darts because these were far too light for me and I find them to be much easier to manage. This evaluation is based on the new Viper tips in the 18 gram darts because I later ordered some 16 gram darts to try them out but have not yet received them. The replacement tips I had previously used, even those sold by Unicorn, were all far too flexible and flimsy, which resulted in numerous bounce-outs and darts sagging when they did stick, weakening the tips. The stiffness of these Viper tips is ideal for my 18 gram darts. The darts stand straight out and don't sag at all from the weight of the dart thanks to the excellent tip adhesion. Without a single dart bouncing out, I fired 36 darts before stopping to write my assessment. I'll test how many more I can stick without bouncing out later today. Let me spare you some trouble so that any other beginners who read this don't have to. The heaviest dart you should use for electronic (soft tip) darts, according to everything I've read, weighs 18 grams. Dart weight is irrelevant when using steel tip darts, which are a completely separate topic. When utilizing soft tip darts, I believe that the majority of issues are brought on by using tips that are either too soft or not solid enough for heavier darts. They provided excellent service and arrived quickly. They look terrific. I was looking for tips to replace the nylon ones on my darts from the 1990s with steel ones. My darts were meant to be convertible when I bought them. "Supposed to be" is a key word. For my set, the threads were too small. The nylon tips have a significantly larger threaded end. I regret not having been able to use them. My darts, not these tips, are what's really the issue.

They performed admirably in the soft tip darts I purchased them for. Since they were coming free from the first set, I tested them in two sets and they stuck perfectly well. To retain the threads in the original soft tip darts, I had to use some loctite, and I haven't had any issues with these. After numerous bounce outs, tips have also held up well.

The CL21s worked amazingly well, but their customer support also sent me a set of the CL21s to replace the other ones I had purchased and expressed their regret for the first set not working. I had ordered a set, but they did not work well with my board (GranBoard 3), so I informed them of my problems. I went ahead and ordered the CL21s, and they worked amazingly well. In the event that the primary set you bought did not work, they do ship you a few of their other tips so you can test them out. If I had more patience, I would have loved to purchase the "find out what tip I need package" for $3 or something upfront and just purchase six or so of each of their styles to test which worked. But that's just me. I can't say enough wonderful things about Granboard 3 - CL21s or the firm.

After using these suggestions for a few days, not a single one has yet to be replaced. In the past, I used to change my tips every 15 minutes or so. I was working with little tips. These are only slightly longer than micro, perhaps by a quarter. They adhere to the board nicely, are occasionally more difficult to remove, but none have yet broken or bent. Great advice, but some stand out since they are so brief. I bought these after hearing someone recommend them, but I can't recall why. They are sooooooooo short in comparison to others who are lengthy that they stay on and don't bend easily.You must make a change as soon as they bend because, when the tip is bent, they do not like to feed into the hole or go in the board and will either break off quickly or jump out.As long as you know what you're doing, these are excellent and quite comparable to the longer tips, which are just marginally superior when bent since they have give to fit into the holes on the board. Be aware that if these bend, you must modify them to avoid jump outs or misses, which can occasionally land on the dividers.These are sturdy tips that do require more time to bend than longer ones do.I also like the color blue.

I just found out that my darts, which are almost 25 years old, aren't "2ba" size. I broke my final tip because I haven't used them in a very long time. I ordered these 1/4" tips by way of elimination. I mounted one on a dart, but I haven't actually used them yet because they just arrived. Although it's a tight fit, they DO fit. Given that the threads appear to be a little different from the original tips, if they were made of metal, they presumably wouldn't. I won't have to worry about them slipping off as we play. They appear sturdy and ought to function. The tight fit cost me one star, which I assume is just a result of the age of my darts.
